This was the largest house we’ve ever stayed in. Loved the mountain view and proximity to restaurants. Couldn’t find a better place with parking for our trailer.

Stayed here for work with my dog - it was very quiet and convenient for us, I liked the extra space and the kitchen

We had another great stay at Kate Mountain Farm. This is a beautiful, interesting, and original place to stay located on a working farm. Waking up in the unique upstairs loft bedroom with a view of the sunrise hitting the pine trees never gets old. It is an excellent alternative to staying in Lake Placid or Saranac Lake, with the beauty of the woods and hiking nearby, and easy driving access to all that the high peaks of the Adirondacks have to offer. The place was spotless as usual, with many goodies provided to make your stay a nicer experience. Thank you Aaron!

This exceptional lake house provided the most welcoming space we could have asked for to celebrate our family and to spend time together. From heated floors on the cool nights to the beautiful piano to the awesome "grown-up-sized" Jenga, we filled our days with settling in together and simply enjoying! We are so grateful for Dina to sharing this wonderful home with us!!

Lovely cottage in beautful area. Lots of places to visit nearby. Close to South Hero where we have family. Great restaurants, apple orchards, so much to see! Also just short drive to Burlington and other attractions like Montpilier

If you are looking to shut away the world for a few days and live in a beautiful cabin by the lake, this is the spot! We had a fantastic stay right in the lap of nature and had the most incredible view of the lake and a private dock overlooking it!

A true GEM in the heart of the Adirondacks! We finally have found the treasure that truly fits our needs in the Lake Placid area. We are very close-knit family with members ranging from 3 years old to 68 years young! This home has everything in order to spend quality family time together. Superb kitchen, fabulous bedrooms, ample gathering space, plenty of game/puzzles, TV, fireplace and abundance of toys for the kids. The property was superb for enjoying the winter wonderland of snow! The kids spent hours sledding down the driveway, on the path to the lake and roasting smores at the fire pit. Ross had provided snow shoes for a wonderful hike along the trail across from the house. Once we arrived, we never had to leave the property as we had everything available to spend fabulous time with our children and grandchildren. Ross was extremely helpful and responsive with snow removal and BBQ propane. We are surely planning a return visit next winter. Thank you Ross for sharing your home!

The house is absolutely beautiful in a beautiful location. It is just a short walk to the lake and the sunrises were amazing! I highly recommend this location. My family and I will gladly stay here again in the summer.

I wish I could rate this home 6 stars. It is beautiful, peaceful, private, and surrounded by nature. The two bedrooms are great and very comfortable, and they actually have anything you might need in terms of toiletries. Corey was super responsive and helpful, he quickly answered the few questions that I had. Would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking for a small getaway.

Charles was a very good host. The cleaning crew did not show up, but we were notified in advance and it was cleaned personally by his son. The vacuum didn’t work so the floors weren’t clean, but other than that it was a great stay! This location is so charming and is close enough to Burlington to go over for the day/night to explore!

Upon arrival Mark and his wife gave us a warm welcome with their two beautiful dogs. His wife then showed us around the beautiful rustic cabin to make sure we would have everything we needed. The first morning we planned to see some of the local tourist attractions but had gotten over a foot of snow during the night. Before we could say anything Mark was on his tractor saving the day and plowing a path for our little car to get to the road. By far this has been the most welcoming BNB experience I have had, making us feel right at home!

We had an amazing time, the house was exactly as advertised, and the hosts were extremely responsive with questions/answers. We felt right at home, the house had everything needed for a cozy stay. Gorgeous view and we will be coming back 100%.

I had an amazing stay at this Airbnb! The hosts went above and beyond to ensure my comfort, especially during a heavy snowstorm. Not only was the space clean, cozy, and well-equipped, but they also took the extra step of clearing my car from the snow—something I truly appreciated. When the storm made it difficult to leave, they generously provided an extra night, showing their kindness and hospitality. If you’re looking for a thoughtful and accommodating host, this is the place to book. I can’t recommend them enough and would absolutely stay here again!

If I had the opportunity to give a host 10 out of 5 stars this would be the host. Mark and Lisa went above and beyond what was expected of them simply out of the kindness of their hearts. You can't expect to find kinder and more understanding people in this area. Wonderful stay, and great pricing for the amount of time spent there. 10/10 recommended staying here next time you find yourself near Peru, NY.

I walked in and noticed it was very clean and organized and most importantly to me my dog enjoyed herself. Lots of room to run around very private and peaceful. I will definitely book to stay here again, thank you very much.

This is the perfect combination of old world/rustic feel meets modern technology with an amazing views. We were in town for a basketball tournament and traveled with another family on the team. We had 3 adults, 3 11 year old boys and a 15 year old girl. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and come together. The boys had a blast playing hide & seek in so much space. This place is high on our list to come to stay for leisure and for a longer stay.

Hi! I rented this house for a 5-day, 4-night stay with a group of friends (+my dog) back when it had absolutely zero reviews. Boy what a smart choice I made! Brian and Beth were super responsive, and the house was incredibly cozy. Just enough space for each guest to have their own room, plenty of bathrooms so no one felt rushed or cramped. The kitchen & dining room were made for gathering. And wow the front enclosed patio and lake access were out of this world. Boats, games, Adirondack chairs lakeside and at the backyard firepit, a TRAMPOLINE (!) and more cozy blankets & towels than we could possibly use in a weekend were all made incredibly accessible. This place had it all. Do not hesitate to book this home for your next friend/family gathering... but don't tell anyone else about it because I selfishly want to be able to book this place again and again and again for years to come.
