My husband and I were looking for a secluded place to spend our first weekend together away from our 3 year old. The Vassar cabin was secluded and private, and the proximity to the water was exactly what we wanted. The hot tub made it even easier to relax.

This was a very relaxing place to spend a weekend. Everything we needed was there, and it was comfortable and clean. Little details like an electronic charging bank, and robes for the hot tub, were highly appreciated. The internet and TV worked great! There were some snacks and provisions and some very nice baked treats waiting for us. Plenty of coffee. We drove to a nearby little town about 15 minutes away for breakfast and shopping. The hot tub was perfect. Although the weather didn't cooperate to sit outside generally, there are very nice sitting areas on the porch and the patio, and a picnic area. There is a place to build a fire, but it was too windy to use. We saw a coyote this morning on the other side of the creek. I'm sure with warmer, less windy weather we would have have been in the outside spaces most of the time. I would highly recommend this cute little cabin if you want to experience peace and quiet, with all the creature comforts. I would definitely go back.

We stayed at Barnlife for 4 nights. It was a very nice airbnb. We were there for a family reunion and with so many of us we did have to commute quite a bit however everyone was within 10 minutes of each other.

Great place!!!!!! One of the best rentals we've ever stayed in. Best views around and beautiful sunsets. All the amenities one could ask for. We felt extremely comfortable home away from home. Hosts are super responsive and made sure our stay was memorable. Would highly recommend and return again.

This was our third or fourth visit to the Koch Guesthouse and it never disappoints! We love how quaint and peaceful it is. Cindy and Maurice are great hosts!

Aaron and Jessi are incredible hosts and have thought of every last detail to make their little slice of serenity the perfect spot for a get away! Their communication made planning for the weekend a breeze! The cabin itself is cozy and lovely, and the outdoor area is a nature oasis for humans and pets. The fence separating their property from the reservoir was ideal to balance our dog's curiosity so she couldn't wander too far. We loved everything about the property, the hosts, and our experience!

Angela was an amazing host! The space we stayed in matched the pictures exactly, super pristine, and feel as though you are right at home! Very affordable and a quick responder, Angela was super clear with instructions and made staying at the Airbnb a breeze. If you are looking for a place close to town and affordable for multiple nights, Angela is the perfect host! Would book under her again!

We stayed at the cabin do to hunting. When we arrived, the neighbors were on their porch and were super friendly. They were also hunting. My boys and I really enjoyed meeting new hunters and hearing their hunting stories. Love the cabins and they are positioned perfectly. Thank you Heather!!!

This was our second stay at the cabins… Felt right at home! Great location and the cabin has everything you need… Loved waking up and watching the wildlife out the bay window as we got ready to go out for breakfast. The casino is maybe 4 miles away, Dollar General is 3 miles away in case you forgot anything… We will stay again, it’s a great little getaway… Thanks Mike and Cindi!!!

I had a great stay at the lake house, was in town for a work engagement and felt at home from arrival to departure. Would do it again!!

We really enjoyed our stay at this location. We had plenty to do, multiple areas to spread out as a group, but also nice areas to meet together. The kitchen/dining area provided us with a great spot to prepare meals for our group. We were very appreciative of the multiple bathrooms and roomin options. It was a great experience for us.

I loved my stay! It was so nice to just get away and stay in. I loved the kitchenette I cooked and enjoyed a little stay cation. For my first trip to the Midwest it was fantastic.
