Aoife is an amazing host We loved her house. She thought of everything and we enjoyed our stay to here It’s so beautiful sitting out looking at the boats and the Shannon Everything was precisely as Aoife had described. We (family of four) stayed in Ashleigh and Micks lovely cottage for a week. The cottage is very private with beautiful countryside views. It is really nicely decorated, and comfortable with a beautiful kitchen which was very well equipped, with all utensils, an oven, hob, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. Communication in advance of visiting was very clear and we easily found the cottage. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it - thanks very much Ashleigh and Mick!

Absolutely stunning, homely, beautiful, spacious and practical. Each bedroom and bathroom is beautifully designed with love and care as well as interesting art work. Views are outstanding and it feels amazing to wake up in such a nice peaceful place. Everything was clean and it is full of useful appliances. Host was friendly, helpful and went above and beyond. Would highly recommend a stay here and hope to visit back here again.

We had lovely time staying at this farmhouse for a weekend getaway with our friends and their kids. . The weather had turned cold during our stay, but Michael had some extra bedding, hot water bottles and electric blankets, and we made a cosy fire in living room so we were well sorte. ! The kitchen was well equipped. The house was well maintained and very clean. Beds were super cosy. And there was loads of space for the kids to run around. Overall had a very relaxing weekend and we are very pleased to have found it. We highly recommend this house for a peaceful weekend getaway.

Lorraine and Larry are fantastic to deal with - very responsive and helpful. The location is absolutely beautiful. Very picturesque. The cottage has everything a small family needs. We had a long trip down and the easter eggs on arrival were greatly appreciated. Highly recommend a visit to The Windy Valley Cottage.

Such a beautiful cabin , very secluded area , so peaceful. The host Darius was very very approachable and helpful, such a friendly host and very accommodating,he also made sure to checked in with us to make sure we were okay. Such a clean cabin also. The hot tub was such a luxury add on to have enchanched the experience Truely. Would highly recommend , will definitely be returning. The communal bar was also such an amazing idea. The home made draft beer was also a lovely touch. All and all a cozy at home in experience. Thank you so much !!!

Great little place . Has everything you need for a well rested sleep and a lovely hot shower after a day of walking . Peaceful and quiet area.

We stayed here with our 1 year old baby. Alan was extremely accommodating and provided a travel cot & high chair. Really liked the chickens, goat and cat he has aswell as the slide for our daughter. The apartment was spotless and had fresh eggs, bread, milk and orange juice provided. Really enjoyed the stay here would highly recommend

This house was so beautiful. Carmel met us and gave us a really good check in with information, the house was decorated beautifully for the festive season. The house had everything you could need and more. We have an amazing stay and will definitely return
