I was not able to find hotels in central otago as it’s a busy time of year. This 1 bedroom apartment is spectacular with beautiful surrounding views , made me feel relaxed. The bed is super comfortable and Eddie has a nice relaxed, kind welcoming nature. I enjoyed the seperate lounge had net- Flix. The finery restaurant was amazing few minutes drive up the road in town.

Friendly helpful hosts - Great location, picturesque views, handy to riverside walks, historic bridges and cycling trails. Clean and welcoming (No oven or cooking inside but outdoor option provided. Some WiFi buffering) Overall a very pleasant, relaxing stay. Thank you.

We had such a great time staying here. The location is perfect-beautiful, peaceful, and close to all the popular sightseeing spots. Danielle is very friendly and helpful, making sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The animals are so friendly, adding an extra touch of warmth to the experience. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Zelma made our stay very enjoyable. She assisted us with a local taxi to ensure we could get to the local wineries. The place had everything you needed! Beautiful, quiet location and would definitely recommend.

Lakeside Retreat in a Vineyard By Lake Dunstan

A wonderful experience in a beautiful setting. The cottage was spacious and comfortable, with a great bed and a good shower. Having access to a washer and dryer was so helpful. I highly recommend the homemade, delivered-to-your-door breakfast—fantastic, fresh, and delicious. Don’t miss out on the wood-fired hot tub experience either; soaking under the night sky in the peace and quiet of their property was truly special. The hosts were friendly and responsive, as were their cuddle-seeking golden retrievers. Cromwell has more to offer than you might expect, from wineries to stone fruit stands. The stay was also very modestly priced, especially for what you get. Felt grateful to have been there.

It was such a nice stay for my husband and I! From the check in, Sandy was very friendly and gave us recommendations and shared places to go to. The place was decorated beautifully with stunning view of their vineyard and the lake! We tried the spa bath and it was so relaxing:) at night, we even got to sleep under the stars! Steve brought us our breakfast for the next day and the spread was amazing and delicious! Our hosts were understanding and tried to accommodate to our request for a late check out as much as they can. Definitely would recommend to stay here!! It was a wonderful experience for us! The drawback is that the wifi and data was quite weak but we didn’t mind as there were so many things to look at and we had a good time just winding down w the view! Thank you Steve and Sandy again for the nice stay!

Beautiful place. Idyllic setting, immaculate accommodation, wonderful host. Mitchell's Cottage is well worth the wander up the hill for a visit. Great spot to base ourselves with two wee kids, for cycling and exploring in the area, and as a last stop on the Rail Trail.

The house was absolutely beautiful. The kitchen had all basic pantry items and there are many shops at walkable distance. Trish and Ken were always very responsive. We left our Bose headphones in there and went to Auckland. Trish was kind enough to courier them to our hotel and even refused to accept payment for the courier charges. A very gracious host and we are very thankful for their kindness.

This was our second stay here - it was as lovely and comfortable as last time. This time we even got a visit from the very affectionate cat, and had the delight of being able to feed the ducks, hens, rooster and the gorgeous highland cows. The space is well equipped, the surrounds are so peaceful, and the host is very responsive.

Thank you Michael. We had a lovely stay in your quiet, private airbnb. It had everything we needed. We were able to cook a meal and do a load of washing easily. It was a nice. flat walk into town where we had a drink at Pauline's Bar. We found your place spotlessly clean and tidy. The bed was very comfy.

Great location for skiing Cardrona. We stayed as 2 families sharing and there was enough room for everyone. We were missing a couple of towels but Hilary was quick to respond and organised for a couple of towels to be dropped off the following day. The pool and spa were lovely after a day of skiing.

This is a great place. It must have been built recently, so it's modern and new. Everything matched the description in the listing. The best Airbnb unit I've ever stayed. I'll try to get this unit every time I go back to Alexandra.

Ample space for big families. House is fully equipped with well stock pantry. Has a nice garden. House is located in the heart of Cromwell with many fruit farms nearby. Driveway to house was a little narrow and easy to miss. Recommend to slow down and approach the location. Sarah is very responsive and a great host!

It was such a beautiful place to stay, was very clean and tidy, and it accommodate all my family. Loved the 3 story. The house was only a couple of doors away from another family member which was great. was definitely worth what we paid. would definitely like to return back.

Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night stay at this amazing air BnB. Perfectly situated in the heart of the Gibbston Valley walking distance to Mt Rosa winery. Very clean, modern and has all the amenities you could need. Our toddler loved Rusty the doggie. Highly recommend!
