Mama as beach bungalows was everything I hoped for. A little ways away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Teresa but with the quad rental Mary set us up with getting around was easy and so fun. The beach nearby was beautiful and mostly empty. Awesome tide pools with interesting crabs and fish, a resident gecko, iguanas, howler monkeys, squirrels and birds all playing in the trees around the bungalow. Excellent breakfast. Comfortable beds, and the most responsive host I’ve had. Mary was helpful from the moment we booked until even after we left. I will definitely be recommending this place to everyone and hope to visit again soon. Perfect hub for getting around Santa Teresa, Cabuya and montezuma. Pura vida!

Beautiful Beach Bungalow Oasis ♡ Mary and Tyler were phenomenal hosts, attentive, caring, and responsive. Their beach bungalow is upscale, peaceful, very comfortable and steps from one of the most picturesque beaches. It's also very close to the Santa Teresa strip with stores and restaurants, we mostly travelled from the airbnb via ATV! 100% Recommend

Beautiful place on top of the hill overlooking the coast. Very peaceful and relaxing place. Corinne and her husband were very helpful when I had issues with a flat tire and gave me great places to go during my stay. Look forward to staying again next trip.

Idyllic surroundings - gorgeous and accessible. This place was exactly our pace. Breakfast was lovely and the pool was clean and perfect. The beach access is directly off the lawn and it’s breathtaking, especially at sunset. You share a bathroom with shower with one other room.

A great place to spend a week at the end of our trip to Costa Rica. Carlos and Marvin were very friendly and helpful. The kitchenette was great so we could prepare our own meals, when we didn’t want to eat out. Great hikes to the waterfalls and Playa Grande and Playa Cocalita. Really enjoyed our stay.

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour (10 nuits) chez Mauro et Julio ! Ils sont très sympathiques et disponibles, n’hésitez pas si vous avez des questions, ils pourront vous conseiller et vous recommander grâce à leurs connaissances de la région. Santa Teresa étant à 2km, il est facilement possible de s’y rendre en quad/scooter, à pied (30 min), en bus (lignes directes et régulières) ou même en stop. Le logement est donc un bon prix pour la région. De plus, le petit déjeuner compris est frais et très bon (même si un peu redondant pour un long séjour) et servi par la gentille et rayonnante Anabel. Il n’y a pas d’air conditionné, mais le ventilateur est efficace. La salle de bain privée est correcte et il est très pratique d’avoir un frigo à disposition! Le seul petit bémol est le matelas, mais cela ne nous a pas empêché de passer des nuits reposantes!

Tuvimos una estancia maravillosa con Julio y Mauro! El alojamiento estaba muy limpio y acogedor. El desayuno cada mañana fue delicioso y fresco. Nos encantó tener una cocina bien equipada, muy práctica. Julio y Mauro son anfitriones muy amables y atentos – nos sentimos bienvenidos desde el primer momento. Definitivamente volveríamos!

Die Unterkunft ist schön und sauber, der Blick fantastisch. Die Gastgeber waren sehr nett, gaben uns Tipps für Restaurants und die Umgebung und auch das Frühstück war hervorragend. Das einzige Manko, der tolle Pool hat leider meine blonden Haare, wegen der zur Reinigung verwendeten Kupferionen, grün gefärbt und das ging auch nach x maligem Waschen bisher nicht raus. Zum Glück nur unten, wo die Haare ins Wasser hingen, aber das ist natürlich trotzdem sehr ärgerlich und eine Vorwarnung wäre super gewesen, da es wohl manchmal bei Blondinen dort schon passiert ist.

Die hervorragende Aussicht und die stilvolle Einrichtung mit viel Liebe zum Detail, sowie das leckere Essen werden uns noch lange in Erinnerung bleiben. Yann ist ein zuvorkommender und aufmerksamer Gastgeber, der uns mit Rat und Tat zur Seite stand und den Aufenthalt mit seiner hilfsbereiten Art perfekt gemacht hat. Diese Unterkunft war das Highlight unserer Costa Rica-Reise und definitiv seinen Preis wert, wir empfehlen sie von Herzen weiter!
