Un lugar seguro, familiar, con mantenimiento excelente y súper amables. Queda de 15 o 20 minutos del centro de Santa Teresa. La pasamos muy bien, volveríamos !

Ruth was a formidable host. She went out of her way to make us feel welcome and she taught us so much about the beautiful wildlife that surrounded us. Her passion for birding is unparalleled. She helped us discover nearly 50 species. The lodge itself was also very nice. We felt rught at home, the view at the pool was something out of a movie. 10/10 experience and a must visit if you are in the neighbourhood and love nature

We had chosen Costa Rica as a birthday trip and came across this gem. Safra Taba is a very beautifully gorgeous, secluded & beautifully built intentional apartment. We had the entire lower areas to ourselves, which included the pool and outdoor areas. This place is about 20-30min outside of Santa Teresa in the mountains. We loved every second of this location because it was very peaceful and quiet. Which is exactly what we were looking for to relax from our daily lives. Also Tim was very helpful and attentive, making sure our stay was great. He had tons of recommendations which we did such as hike the beautiful mountains trails, visit a neighboring spa, delicious restaurants and stores. We have been raving nonstop about this place and already planning to visit again next year. Thank you Safra Taba for making our first visit and birthday trip to Costa Rica such a beautiful one! It was definitely filled with beautiful memories and looking forward to making more!

Words can’t explain what a great host Susanne is and how beautiful our Paquera stay was! We had booked to stay at her place for one night. Initially I made a huge mistake of letting her know that we would arrive at her place at 10AM instead of 10PM. But later that evening when I did realize that I communicated the wrong time, she had no issues in changing her plans to accommodate us getting there late. Upon arrival she was very helpful in helping us find the place and making us feel very comfortable even after our check in snafu which we felt terrible about. We had a full day snorkeling excursion planned for the next day and Susanne said to come and clean up first and rest before checking out and extended our checkout time a little. Her generosity and kindness won our hearts and we can’t express how thankful we are! We HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place to anyone visiting! The Guest House is gorgeous with amazing views so it is an absolute win in every way!! Make sure to have 4 wheel drive!

Great place to stay if you want to be secluded from the tourists traps. Beach is pretty much all yours and restaurants is an easy walk down the road. Will definitely recommend and would stay again. Karen also provided thorough instructions about the place and surrounding area.

Our stay at this place was tropical perfection. The hosts have created a dreamy coastal escape that was better than we could have hoped for. This new property is beautiful, quiet and literally a few minutes walk from the beach. The studio is set back a comfortable distance from the main house so that it felt like we had plenty of privacy without being isolated. The new construction is beautiful and well-designed, providing plenty of natural indoor light and high ceilings to make it feel spacious. The air conditioning and fans were very efficient and effective. The back patio, outdoor shower and private pool make this feel like a truly luxurious bargain for the price. The hosts provided plenty of great kitchen amenities, including a full-size fridge, which comes in handy in such tropical climates. If you're visiting the area, we can't recommend this property highly enough. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Firefly House is a special place. The casita is insulated from the (one) road through town by a gate, gardens and a far setback. Of course, because it's on this road, the Cabuya Panadería y Restaurante is just across the street, so the aromas of fresh bread and delicious cooking drift towards the casita nearly every day (closed Mon and Tue). Having the best restaurante in Cabuya so close was delightful. It is important to understand that this is a typical Tico house - lovely, super clean and well cared for. But because it is open to the air around the roof line, you will find geckos (small and cute) climbing the walls, and the occasional small iguana might pay a visit. Insects were remarkably minimal and not a problem - the mosquito netting over the bed removes any nighttime worries. Best of all though, was the daily attentiveness of Joelle to the well-being of her guests. She lives in the adjacent house and was always available to help - truly a model Airbnb host.

This spot was so cute! Super close to the beach/center of town/park, all easily walkable. Having access to the pool at NYA Hotel was a huge plus, since the very "in the middle of it all" location made it so that keeping the windows open at the house was too noisy/not safe. The photos of the pool don't do it justice and we saw a troupe of monkeys in the trees right from our lounge chairs.
