Fantastic place by the water, great location for going in and out of town. Very spacious and exactly what we needed as a family of 4. Karen was super responsive and very helpful, added bonus was the cot and high chair which meant we didnt need to load ourselves up with equipment travelling from down South!

L'appartement de Dan et Alex est agencé et décoré avec goût, il est cosy et accueillant. La vue depuis le logement est époustouflante et incroyable, c est vraiment son point fort. L'acces rapide à la gare est également un grand atout. L emplacement est idéal pour profiter du calme et de la plage. Les hotes sont attentionnés et prevenant. Nous avons été enchantés par notre sejour en Ecosse et nous prevoyons déjà notre prochaine visite :) Un grand merci à nos hôtes !

Sea Shell Cottage is a great place to stay, I loved the nautical and maritime theme throughout the cottage which is very cosy and comfortable with everything needed for a self-catering break. I found it to be the ideal base for walking the coastal trail from North Queensferry to St Andrews and was able to use the local bus and train services to get to and from start/finish points. Jennifer is a lovely host and I hope to be able to stay at her cottage again at sometime in the future.

What a fabulous little house! So cosy with beautiful views and a great cafe just across from it. Lovely walks over the cliffs - we saw dolphins and seals - amazing. Shame there’s not a pub in St Abs but we walked into Coldingham along the cliff path for a drink - we came back the same way as there isn’t a pavement on the road back but if you take torches the cliff path was okay - barely needed the torches as the moon was so bright. We will definitely be back again.

Great place to spend the week whilst visiting our son who works in the city, beautiful surroundings amazing walks everyday, the planes can be noisy but it’s only brief and shouldn’t put you off. Great base for touring the coast and surrounding area as well as the city, 10 min walk to the bus then 1/2 hour journey into the centre. We enjoyed days out at North Berwick and Loch Lomond about an hours drive. Walks to Cramond island and down river to the falls are a must, what a place to wake up every morning, views are stunning, thanks to Donald for being a great host PS the pub next door due to re-open very soon, the new owners are really nice should be great, hope to return very soon

Had a fabulous long weekend at the Puffin Burrow. Perfectly located just across from the beach and a few minutes walk to some great places to eat in town. We loved sitting in the window watching the sea with a glass of wine or cup of coffee (depending on the time of day!) A great base for exploring North Berwick and once we’d parked we didn’t move the car until we left. Walked from our door along the coast to Tantallon Castle and the cliff top Drift cafe (recommended!) as well as to the top of the Law for a great view. Slept well in the very comfy bed after enjoying the sea air.

We had a great stay at Susie’s place, the house was perfect for us. It was a-lot bigger than we had expected. There were 7 adults and 3 kids with us but we could have fitted another few. The location was great too, just a 2 minute walk from the beach you also have the chemist, a Deli, a pharmacy and a pub all in the same street. We will definitely visit again.

Perfect place to stay for a few days on a budget. About 10min walk from bus stops that led to the city, took about an hour to get into the city from here. Owners always got back with us quickly and were so kind. I reccommend staying here if you want more of a cozy stay away from the city!

My family and I went to spend just the weekend in Scotland but everyone loved the place so much we wished we stayed longer. The place was so nice and calm. A lovely get away. And very communicative. Thank you for a lovely stay will definitely visit again

David was very responsive. He had tea, coffee, milk and biscuits ready for us in the caravan. The caravan was perfect to the description and clean. He sent me clear instructions for check-in and helpful instructions.

A beautiful, warm and delightful holiday home. Few mins walk to the beach and on a lovely holiday park with great facilities for children and dogs. Amazingly stocked kitchen equipment and such comfy beds and bedding. Would highly recommend and look forward to coming back!

Booked to stay here last minute with my young son and we loved every second of our time here. The caravan had everything we needed and more. The location was ideal and we also managed to fit in a quick trip up to Edinburgh. We would definitely book again for a longer stay. Thanks

Maggie is an amazing host. We arrived to find groceries already waiting for us and a belated birthday gift for myself. Communication was easy and fast. Kids loved the bonus of the play station and the two ride-on bikes. Easy to catch bus 26 from just outside the park to go into Edinburgh. We loved that the location of the van was close enough to everything of the park but still in a quiet section.

Great place to stay, nice caravan. Constructive points...doors need new latches to keep them open when hot, or take some string. Would be helpful to clarify that no towels or toilet rolls are provided. Be nice to collect all the cigarette butts outside. Also couldnt get bluetooth connected for the sound system. Small details, but overall, a great stay, great location and would go back.

If you love the East neuk of Fife, or just being by the sea, or have a pet and want a pet-friendly break, or any combination of these - look no further!

It is a lovely warm and cosy apartment which we very much enjoyed to stay in with our two children (aged 7 and 8 years). I ran along the beach every morning before sunrise and returned refreshed and ready to go. We enjoyed breakfast together every morning in the picnic bench style nook in the kitchen. Living room gets a lot of light during the day and very cosy in the evenings. It is a first floor apartment accessed from the side of the building. A great choice for North Berwick.

Lovely clean, well equipped home in a great location for both town and beach. House was decorated beautifully for the festive season. Good communication with host, always friendly and helpful. Would certainly be happy to return.

The magnificent sea views and access to the garden are what made this trip for us. Breakfast at the table in the morning, glass of wine looking out in the evening. It is cosy and we would definitely return for a couple of nights ‘away from it all again’. Lovely, communicative host who was very helpful.

This is a fantastic place to stay right in the heart of Pittenweem. We really enjoyed spending time in Jo’s place and would definitely recommend this to friends and family. It’s very quiet and with great facilities and it is a wonderful base to explore the surrounding villages and attractions and it’s a great cosy cottage to come back to and unwind after a day exploring. Jo is a very proactive host and goes out of her way to stay in touch and make sure everything is great for your stay.

Fiona’s cottage was the perfect home away from home for our stay near St. Andrew’s, for the week we were visiting and getting our daughter settled into the University. It was so lovely to be able to sit in the beautiful garden on sunny days or walk to the beach nearby. The kitchen was one of the most well stocked kitchens I’ve experienced in an Airbnb, and that was so helpful. We would definitely book again for our next visit!

We have just returned from a fantastic stay at Dolly’s place. Both Dolly and Andy were incredibly helpful throughout our visit, offering great recommendations, checking in to ensure everything was perfect, and going above and beyond to make our stay truly enjoyable. The property itself is wonderful, providing the perfect base for exploring Edinburgh and the surrounding areas. Having stayed in many Airbnbs, we can confidently say this is the best by far. We highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area and can’t wait to return!
