Lovely old house with old style furniture. We stayed in winter and were able to use log fires in 3 downstairs rooms. Plenty of wood was provided for this. House was warm despite very cold weather. The one downstairs bedroom was perfect for the elderly man with us. The hot tub was lovely and clean and sheltered. Easy to miss entrance to driveway as there are a few Branxholme properties and Branxholme Knowe is just around a bend. However we spotted it as we overshot and could easily turn back. Good location as in the country but 5 minutes to Hawick and shops. Overall wonderful place to celebrate my birthday and retirement with the family. I would certainly consider returning to this house in the summer and make use of the BBQ and explore the area.

I booked this property for my husband and his 3 friends for his 40th birthday. Wallace was extremely communicative at all times, and was very welcoming to the group on arrival. One of the guests arrived early and while Wallace explained the place would not be ready till check in, the guest was able to fish on the loch till later in the day, and thoroughly enjoyed himself! The property was as described, perfectly clean and the location was exactly what I was looking for when I booked. It was easy to find, and the walking guides and maps of the local area were very helpful too. Would book again!

A fantastic property! We stay in many Airbnb’s and we’ve never been so happy with a stay.. very clean and tidy, great facilities and even a few welcome gifts! Emma was very professional and responsive in communications.. everything was perfect! We enjoyed the log burner, for which there were logs, kindling and firelighters ready to go! The hot tub was absolutely amazing.. it has lights that change colour and it was very easy to operate.. it was all ready to use, we loved it in the evenings! Kitchen was well equipped and perfect for self catering, great oven/hob, and spotlessly clean. On that note, we were exceptionally happy with the overall cleanliness of the property! Excellent bed linen, towels for the bathroom, and extra for the hot tub. The location is so peaceful and private, a true countryside gem! I could go on and on!.. Thank you, Emma for such a lovely and enjoyable romantic getaway! We will certainly be back! :)

Michelle was wonderful. We had an overnight flight but were allowed to leave bags early and check in several hours earlier. Michelle was responsive and a great resource. Shower was a bit tricky to navigate, and could have used some extra towels but otherwise everything was as described. Had some trouble with the dryer our last day, but things break down so no big deal. We loved the location. Be prepared for City noise - some ear plugs took care of that! Would definitely recommend and stay again. Thanks for an awesome stay!

Super logement , cocooning comme nous le souhaitions! Accès à Édimbourg relativement rapide. Attention aux instructions d’entrée, car le tri sélectif en Écosse n’est pas le même que le nôtre en France .. beaucoup plus poussé ce qui est un bon point pour l’environnement . J’ai fais par réflexe comme en France ce qui m’a value à juste titre un message D’Ali . Si je devais repartir en Écosse sans hésitation je reprendrais le même logement .. le SPA avec vue c’est un bonheur!

An absolutely charming place! We stayed one night and were smitten from as soon as we checked in. The loveliest little touches in the interior, from the record player to the board games and books, and oh, what a beautiful garden and outdoor experience to behold! The cottage is in a beautiful location, with stunning views from all the windows - particularly the living area which has windows on 3 sides. Deborah's place is very well appointed - nicely decorated, furnished and equipped. After walking the surrounding hills it was a lovely place to come back to - relax in the superb hot tub, then put our feet up on the recliner sofa and watch a SKY movie. There's plenty of space, the bedrooms and bathrooms are a really good size. Deborah was very friendly and responsive, gave us some good recommendations of where to go in the local area too. We'd love to go back!

Amazing place and Amazing scenery! was very peaceful and Elma was very helpful. kids loved this place too as was very spacious and a great place to just chill. they loved the outdoors and the hot tub which was immaculate. we all loved when Nico came round and introduced himself and kids loved him

We had a great time at Libby’s. We used this location as a central landing place after exploring around St Andrew’s, Stirling, Falkirk, Culross. We felt well taken care of and appropriately checked in on. It was a very cosy stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Greenloaning. The garden in itself is well worth the money paid, and the house is cosy and homely. It was perfect for our little one. 100% would visit again in the future

We loved the property. Very spacious and well equipped, especially the kitchen. It was a nice touch having the Christmas tree! We also loved the location and enjoyed the tranquility of where the property is located. Hayley was responsive responding to questions and would love to stay again sometime!

We had a lovely stay in Elie. The bungalow was perfectly situated for the beach with street parking close by. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. We stayed with 4 adults and 4 children and there was enough space for us all. We will keep Jo’s place in mind for a return in the summertime.

My family had a wonderful stay at Ronnie’s place! The home had everything we needed. We were all comfortable and had plenty of room. The back yard is spacious and lovely, so my children enjoyed playing outside. Ronnie really thought of everything! There were hairdryers for us to use and tea, coffee, biscuits and milk waiting for us. The home was a short 10ish minutes ride away from city center. We would love to come back to stay here again!

Quiet Cute little cottage on the edge of a forest. Had all the amenities to make a great base for our trips into Edinburgh and north to Inverness. Pascale is a great host and she really made us feel welcome from the initial contact to us checking out. Would definitely stay here again.

This cottage was such a lovely find for my family for the month. The firewood was always stocked, not to mention a premade ready to light fire, as well as home baked bread to welcome us. The setting was a beautiful working farm with miles and miles of trails and sheep and cows to explore. We had everything we needed and Jo was timely and kind in her communication. would absolutely recommend

How was your host Nathalie is an attentive host, phone call on arrival as we’d got a little lost! Explained all facilities and gave us tips for days out & eating out recommendations. Perfect host. How clean was lodge Despite the smell of dog when we first entered the lodge, once we got inside & unpacked everything was clean & tidy. Plenty of cleaning products should we have needed them (we had brought our own just in case) Both bathrooms were clean smelt fresh. Facilities WiFi was a lovely addition, perfect for me to play on social media uploading my photos from each day. Lovely furniture with plenty of space to relax inside & on the deck. View of lake was stunning. Everything you need in kitchen & throughout the lodge from books, games, video games. Everything has been thought of. Thankfully the gas bottle held out. I did find this part a bit stressful. Understandably, Nathalie is concerned at the cost of gas bottles & fair usage of it. Perfect stay! We have loved it. Thank you

We had an enjoyable weekend break in the Lookout at Pitmilly. Excellent standard of accommodation and facilities and a wonderful setting, convenient for exploring the Fife coast. Would highly recommend.

Absolutely excellent! Wish I could give John and Honeymug six stars. The cottage was a true home-from-home. It was comfy, cosy, well-equipped and just perfect for a family getaway. The host really had thought of everything from local walk guides, books, DVDs, towels for the dog … everything! I could’ve stayed for weeks. The holiday cottage site was an amazing bonus. We were expecting a pool and a gym, however these has recently been renovated to include an outside hot tub, sauna, steam room and excellent luxe facilities. An amazing added bonus. I didn’t want to leave! My teenager loved the gym while his younger siblings enjoyed the games room with pool table. We were pleasantly surprised to find a restaurant on site too. We had an issue with the DVD player not working and John came the next day to replace it. Awesome host. Beautiful location. Fantastic base to explore Northumberland and everything it has to offer. Highly recommend!

Nice big place. Clean and tidy. Nice little starter pack of bread milk etc left for us. Plenty of towels. Rooftop terrace with heating and use of pool. A lot of fobs and keys to use but plenty of copies provided for us. Feather pillows, would’ve preferred firmer, but that’s a personal preference. Lovely host.

Fabulous little cottage. It's in a great area for nearby attractions. The Cottage itself is so pretty and contains everything you'd need. The games room, the pool and the chickens are an added bonus. We had a lovely stay.

A location with an interesting history; just a few minutes walk (beside the river) from Dunblane’s centre but tranquil, comfortable and secluded. Perfect to visit the surrounding area but also an easy train journey to Stirling and Edinburgh for the sights.

We had an amazing stay at the Orchard hideaway - it is in beautiful, rural and peaceful surroundings, and is exactly like the photos. It is private, warm and very clean, the hot tub is great and well maintained, and the host has thought of everything to make it a comfortable relaxing stay. We would love to come back and 100% recommend!
