Natalie's place was super clean, very modern and relaxing. The kitchen was really well equipped which was helpful as we were there as a big group. We had a 1 year old with us and the place was great for her as it had a stairgate and baby plates etc. We did have an issue with the hot water at one point, but Natalie responded straight away to my message to try and resolve the issue and was very friendly and helpful. The beds were also really comfortable!

We had a lovely stay at Karen’s place. It was in a perfect position for our family get together close to our relatives. Clackmannan is quite small but has a good coop which is only 5 minutes walk from the house. We also used a local Indian takeaway, they delivered and it was very good. The property itself is very well equipped .. particularly the kitchen which was important for us as we wanted to cook at home. Lots of nice walks around the area and also close to Stirling, Edinburgh and Glasgow if you want to explore. I only contacted Karen a couple of times but she got back to me right away both times which is always good as a host. We would definitely use the property again for family catch ups.

Warm welcome, beautiful surroundings, peaceful short break. Host went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable by putting the log burner on before we arrived as it was a cold day. Amazing breakfast.

An absolutely charming place! We stayed one night and were smitten from as soon as we checked in. The loveliest little touches in the interior, from the record player to the board games and books, and oh, what a beautiful garden and outdoor experience to behold! This place is a hidden gem. - peaceful, tranquil and in a great location for exploring local walks and Peebles. Anna & Tom were perfect hosts. We had a lovely weekend.

Our family had an amazing stay at the coal house,kid friendly with toys they can play with, very clean and had all the stuff we needed Carla and Alan were great host and fast to answer any questions we had. Would recommend for anyone that has kids Thank you again

A lovely quiet cottage in the middle of leith. Will definitely book again.

Charming old building in beautiful surroundings, felt like stepping back in time and getting away from it all. Zero light pollution meant you could see a sky full of stars. Would recommend bringing slippers for cold floor and don't use the shower until everyone is awake as pump is noisy but fab place to stay with lots of character.

Considering how important this building is historically it’s amazing that they let people stay overnight and cook in there! It’s very peaceful except on two evenings a group led by a reenactor were rather enthusiastic beneath the window! Only lasted ten minutes and it wasn’t later than 8.30pm. The bathroom gets rather chilly after 11pm when the heating goes off! A minor inconvenience and there is a real gas fire in the bedroom!

Our stay was wonderful. The price for being in the center of all the action in Edinburgh was incredible. Susie was very helpful and responsive throughout the lead up, during, and after our stay. It was the perfect home base for walking around the city. Unfortunately our schedules didn’t line up to meet in person, but Susie was unbelievably sweet and dropped off some pastries for us in the morning. I couldn’t recommend this home more - it had everything we needed and was a quaint/cozy spot to crash or recharge after all the activities Edinburgh has to offer. Will definitely be looking to book again if back in the city!

Had a great stay, my nan found the bed comfortable and the location was perfect. We cooked for ourselves one night and the kitchen had everything we needed. Would highly recommend staying in this apartment and would stay again if travelling with others :) Thank you 🌾

Lovely apartment. clean & just like the description. very close to shops, cafes & restaurants, all within walking distance. Close to train station. The only downside of the apartment was the 4 flights of stairs, which were exhausting to the un-fit. We were aware of this on booking though, but if a lift could be installed then this property would be almost perfect. would definitely recommend a stay.

What a perfect apartment, ideal for our family, we found it to be even better than the listing suggested! Spotlessly clean with great quality furniture including beds, bedding, pillows and lovely thick towels. The kitchen was particularly well stocked, our 5 year old was delighted with the little boxes of cereals and such a treat to find a Selkirk Bannock too! Would definitely stay again, we had a lovely relaxing stay

We really enjoyed our stay the apartment was lovely, very clean and tidy with a homely feel. The views from the balcony of Deans Village were beautiful. Close to coffee shops and restaurants and easy to walk into the city centre or catch an Uber on a lazy day. Ross was also very responsive to any queries we had. Highly recommended

We loved being in the heart of the action at Angie’s place. The apartment was perfect for four of us. The only disappointment was the construction of the road right in front. Thankfully the workers didn’t start until about 8:30 am and finished around 4:00 pm. We were also pleasantly surprised that the street gets very quiet at night, which was ideal for sleeping in the front room. No earplugs needed! We would definitely stay here again.

This house is stunning. Much larger than the photos suggest, extremely well equipped, very very comfortable and spacious and the perfect place for a large family gathering with no chance of anyone feeling they can't have any quiet space. So much space both inside and out. We took turns cooking the family meals in the wonderful kitchen. We definitely had a much needed family celebratory long weekend for a new baby due in December, two wedding anniversaries, 5 birthdays, a UK residency and hopefully a new job all happening in lock-down, plus a postponed wedding and to gather strength for an unexpected major operation. We loved it and only left the house on one occasion in order to make the most of the house! We will definitely be back to this wonderful special house and would highly recommend it. We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful house in Fife! We were a big group of three families, and the space was perfect for everyone. The house is spacious, well-equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for our large group, and the dining area was perfect for family dinners. The location was also great – close to local attractions and beautiful coastal walks. The outdoor space was perfect for the kids to play, and the hosts were incredibly responsive and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable getaway with a large group. We hope to return again!

Fantastic property in the heart of Crieff just a few minutes walk to town centre. The property itself was excellent, the attention to detail was fantastic, little notes and helpful signs around the home which was a nice touch. The kitchen had everything you need and more. The bathrooms were lovely and clean with good showers. The garden area was great too, particularly as it was nice weather when we were there. We ate in a few nice restaurants in town and were not disappointed. Overall a great break in a fantastic property in a lovely location……would highly recommend,

当我们进入庄园的那一刻，简直不敢相信自己的眼睛，简直太美了，无以伦比。我围着房子走了几圈，对于我这样一个爱好摄影的人来说，居然觉得难以用自己的摄像镜头来诠释眼前的美景。周围很安静，房子的前面是牧场，养了很多羊。房子后面有一个花园和草坪，不远处是一条河流，河的对岸有山峰与田野。 一切都美不胜收。在这里，你可以享受美景，静静的思考、冥想。早上起来，还可以见到大尾巴的红松鼠以及不知名的鸟儿。 主人Fiona是一位端庄而美丽的女士，非常热情的给我们介绍了房子的历史和她的家庭，并送了些小礼物给我们。我们也送了Fiona中国带来的普洱茶。我用苏格兰盖尔语称呼了一下Fiona：“A bhean bhòidheach”，然后我们都开心的笑了起来..... 第二天，Fiona还很早起来给我们做了美味可口的羊角包，让我们感受到了主人的热情。清晨，我们还看到了大尾巴的红松鼠，非常可爱！ 一切都是如此完美，我们甚至取消了去苏格兰高地其他地方的行程，就这样静静的待在庄园，享受那甜蜜的静美。 为此，我也拍了很多照片和大家分享，也愿以后来这旅行的人们，能够爱它，能够保护它！

we have just left Howford house after a lovely 3 night weekend stay to celebrate my husbands 40th. we were a family of 14 adults, 2 children and a newborn baby and we had the most peaceful comfortable stay. the house is fantastic, it has everything you need and the location although super private and peaceful, it was near restaurants, the coop supermarket, Traquair House and land which we got discounted because we were house guests, and lots of walks and hikes. the surrounding acres were stunning with the frost and autumn leaves. we all loved our stay, the kids (and the adults) didn't want to leave. special thanks to Elaine the housekeeper who was brilliant with her communication and help. we will recommend and be back in the future.

Great area for a short stay!

Ferhan and his wife are great hosts. We enjoyed a beautiful family Christmas. They decorated the house and set up the Christmas tree for us. The property is very well taken care of. The kitchen is very well equipped. The beds are comfortable and clean. A great pleasure to have booked it! Many thanks! Gabriela
