We stayed with our two dogs and all of us really enjoyed a weekend away, the location is a nice close walk to the beach and only 2kms from the Main Street of Apollo bay so nice and easy to grab a morning coffee before heading out exploring. The backyard is very small and wouldn’t be escape proof with the gap by the carport and the very short fences but was no problem with our two as they stay close and don’t jump fences, really just enough for them to be able to go outside to the toilet before coming back in to lounge on their beds. Would happily stay here again 😊

The accomodation was clean and modern and spacious. Accessible to the beach, sea food coop, and the stretch of shops along the main beach boulevard. Parking garage was available and all the usual amenities were provided. Overall a great place to stay although the view of the beach was not full

Beautiful, stunning, gorgeous home! It had everything we needed and more for a very comfortable stay!! The views and sound of the ocean were so relaxing, we could have sat on the deck all day and night soaking in the surroundings. Very comfortable bed and linens, and kitchen extremely well-stocked. Super close to Apollo Bay. Thank you to our host George for the wonderful hospitality, and quick responses. We really loved our stay here and would definitely book this again, and hopefully stay longer next time!! :)

Such a lovely, clean, spacious and relaxing place! 2 minute by foot to the beach and a 20 minute walk to centre of town made it so accessible to everything. We had a great stay and would definitely stay again.

Great place located close to Apollo Bay. The ocean is right across the road and the view from the balcony was amazing! We even got to see a koala that had made the tree branch right above the balcony its home for a couple of days.

Walking distance to the beach, views from the balcony are amazing. House was great, we would book again.

We had a great stay at Joanne’s place it’s in a perfect location everything you need is walking distance beach, restaurants ect. Nice secured back yard and a fenced off veranda out the front which our dog loved. Would definitely recommend Joanne’s place if you’re heading to Apollo Bay.

Absolutely loved our stay! The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the beach, the place itself was well-maintained, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and welcoming retreat close to the beach, we’d love to come back someday!

We have stayed at Helana’s place on several occasions. It has a very relaxed vibe and is reminiscent of my childhood holidays. It is in a great location, the yard is well fenced for our dogs and it has all the basics for a beach holiday with nothing pretentious. Thanks again Helana

The home itself was beautifully designed, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. It felt cozy yet spacious, with large windows that allowed natural light to pour in and provide panoramic views of the landscape. I loved the outdoor space, which included a private deck perfect for sipping coffee while watching the sunset. What truly set this Airbnb apart, though, was the sense of tranquility. Had a lovely stay in Apollo Bay! The place was clean, cosy, and exactly as described. Great location—just a short walk to the beach, cafes, and shops. The host was responsive and made check-in super easy. Would definitely recommend for a relaxing coastal getaway!

This is our 2nd stay at Mark's place. It's a truly beautiful and serene location. It's a wonderful house with exquisite views of the surrounding area and has all the amenities you need for a relaxing getaway. The garden is simply stunning and really adds to your experience. Surrounded by towering gum tree's and ferns. Even more stunning than the pictures of the property. Highly recommended for people who want to get away from it all. Mark and Zoe

We enjoyed our 4 night stay at the cottage. The place is well equipped and great location, just 15 mins out of Colac. Plenty of outdoor space for the pooches to play along with easy access to red rock lookout via a scenic walk direct from the property. We will definitely be back! Thank you Garry and Sharyn.

I recently had a wonderful stay at Cloud Nine in Apollo Bay. From the moment I booked, Sharee was incredibly welcoming, ensuring every detail was perfect for my visit. The holiday home itself was immaculate and thoughtfully decorated, offering all the comforts of home. Its central location meant we were just a short walk away from local shops, restaurants, and attractions. One of the highlights was the pet-friendly secure yard, perfect for letting my pet play safely. Sharee’s place had a comfortable and inviting atmosphere truly made a difference. I highly recommend Cloud Nine to anyone looking for a relaxing and convenient getaway in Apollo Bay.

We loved our stay - although the space is on the smaller side, everything is very thoughtfully and practically arranged. We stayed with 2 small children with no issues. And the heated swimming pool and spa was a delight. Highly recommend this place for stopping over during great ocean Road trips.

We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing two-night stay at Glen View as a stopover during our Melbourne to Adelaide journey on the Great Ocean Road. Johanna is a truly beautiful section of the GOR where rolling green hills and farmlands meet the ocean. The cottage is delightfully laid out and well provisioned, with quality bedding and toiletries, a lovely fire-place and a shed full of wood (and reverse cycle a/c for the summer months and the impatient!) A visit to the chicken shed to collect farm fresh eggs and the orchard for some lemons was a nice treat for us suburbanites! The kitchen is fully functional with pretty much all equipment you could need, including a coffee machine. Absolutely loved it! Highly recommend!!!

A perfect place for a getaway with a large group. Well appointed kitchen for cooking, amazing views, huge outdoor area and great living spaces. Chris was a very responsive host and got back to me quickly to answer my questions. Loved our weekend here!

Lovely location, kids loved the pool. Hosts were extremely friendly and generous. Make sure you remember milk it is along drive to pick some up!

We have enjoyed a very peaceful week in Joanna Cottage. Despite a couple of stormy nights, we felt cozy and warm inside in front of the log fire. Such a stunning view! I loved visiting the hens for a couple of fresh eggs, and there was everything we needed inside the cottage to make for a comfortable stay. Our hosts were always available to help us with any questions. A wonderful place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay at the farm cottage! The peaceful surroundings and fresh air made for a perfect getaway. The cottage was cozy and well-equipped, making us feel right at home. We enjoyed exploring the farm, interacting with the animals, and soaking in the beautiful scenery. The stunning views of beautiful lightning and the beach added to the charm. It was a relaxing experience, and we can't wait to come back.

Was a good place to start for a trip down the great ocean road. The place needs a bit of tlc especially the pool area. Had to ask for the spa to be turned on but they were very accommodating and it was nice for one night.

Stumbled across this place and now will be a regular destination to relax. Utterly amazing and seriously can’t recommend this place more. Quirky, artsy, relaxing, close to the beach, very informative hosts, ponies, goats, chickens and cats to pet. Seriously just book it! We will be back to this hidden oasis for winter next and def book a room with a fire and spa! Thank you so much. We felt we went on a holiday interstate/over seas, not down the road.
