Sue is a wonderful host, very warm & welcoming & super responsive to any questions or requests. The cottage is spic and span and has everything you need with a lovely view of the cows grazing & morning mist. It's definitely a great base offering peace & quiet, close to town & some lovely natural attractions as well as a brewery, which also does coffee & good food + some lovely natural attractions like Lake Elizabeth to spot platypus if you're lucky & Stevenson's Falls with the redwood & blue source forests & picnic areas.

We had a wonderful long weekend at KALMD just what our family of 5 needed. Plenty of outdoor space for our 3 boys to run and a wonderful wrap around deck with plenty of seats to capture the sun/ views to read a book. Hope to come back soon

Veronica's studio is beautifully set up and is so peaceful and calming. We stayed when the weather was quite warm, but the studio stayed lovely and cool. Local cafes and restaurants had great food and coffee, and we enjoyed some lovely walks in the bush too. We would highly recommend this property - it was such a restful and pleasant place to stay :)

We enjoyed a four night stay in Ian's beautiful and charming place. The view is amazing, the kitchen is spacious, clean and had everything we needed. The beds were comfy, and both bathrooms were clean with big fluffy white towels a lovely touch. We loved our stay and definitely recommend.

Sara was a lovely host and we enjoyed our time immensely. Absolutely beautiful rolling hills and lake. Alpacas were very cute.

Absolutely fantastic experience! From the moment we arrived, the host made us feel right at home. The space was impeccably clean, stylish, and fully equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.

We had a wonderful time at this place. Llamas, sheep, koalas, and colourful birds welcomed us, and the surroundings were incredibly peaceful, allowing us to escape the usual hustle and bustle and truly relax. We brought food from home for our stay, but the host had thoughtfully prepared an excellent selection of pantry items, and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed, so there was no hassle at all. Both inside and outside the house, you can feel the host's thoughtful attention to detail, creating a comfortable and welcoming space. I recommend this place to friends who want to get away and enjoy a quiet retreat.

We had a great stay at the cottage and Tom was very accommodating in setting up one of the bedrooms as a twin room. The farm is lovely and Tom & his family were super friendly inviting us to explore around. Would highly recommend!

Relax and listen to the sounds of nature, the property is filled with beautiful bird life. We loved being close to the animals, which provided a country feel. The house is well appointed including a beautiful kitchen for cooking and spotless comfortable beds. There is a great lounge room for relaxing as well.

We had a fantastic stay! The location was beautiful, surrounded by nature and offering privacy, exactly what we were looking for. The house was clean, well equipped, and with the most comfortable beds we ever had in an Airbnb. The only minor issue was that the dishwasher wasn’t working properly but it didn’t take away from the overall great experience. We would definitely come back!

I booked at very short notice and the host was incredibly responsive and helpful. The house is immaculate, and the location of very picturesque. I would totally recommend for a peaceful break.

This is my second time staying at Roost and it is just breathtaking! Incredibly dog friendly, perfect setting, walk up the beach at Johanna to the rock pools. Two mumma koalas with babies right at the doorstep, Gang Gang cockatoo munching by the kitchen window. Can’t ask for more!

The cabin is absolutely lovely and incredibly well-equipped. It offers a fantastic selection of teas, an impressive collection of books and DVDs (note: no WiFi), and more kitchen appliances than I’ve ever seen in a rental. The view from the deck is stunning, and the downstairs bathtub is beautiful. The cabin’s decor is professional, unique, and tastefully done. Location-wise, it’s conveniently situated—just a 16-minute drive from Apollo Bay and 29 minutes from Wye River. The owners are exceptionally helpful and responsive; when we encountered an issue with a window, they replaced it immediately. The only downside for us (and this might not apply to everyone) is that the bedroom isn’t soundproof. While it has a door, it’s open to the living room, which wasn’t ideal for baby/kid sleep . It made it difficult for us to do anything without waking them up. But overall, it’s a wonderful place to stay!

Lovely location, kids loved the pool. Hosts were extremely friendly and generous. Make sure you remember milk it is along drive to pick some up!

We were absolutely blown away by Jade’s place. Everything was so thoughtfully considered, from the beautiful bath products, to the tasteful decor & the extra attention paid to creature comforts. A quick stroll/drive to the main strip - with some fantastic food in town (Birregurra Grocer, Royal Mail Hotel). We were lucky enough to catch the farmer’s market (first Sunday of every month). We were charmed by the kitchen with its subway tiles & the living space was the perfect place to unwind with a glass of wine after a day exploring. Our dog Theo loved it too & we could tell that he felt right at home. Would recommend staying at Billie’s & we loved Birregurra.

It was a great stay along the Great Ocean Road. We enjoyed being able to see koalas and kangaroos.

Very comfortable & all you could need in kitchen. Sam did say no toiletries provided but would have been helpful when only staying one night to know that milk sugar etc not provided.
