It’s beautifully tranquil and feels secluded, with benefits of having Apollo Bay and restaurants just a 5 minute drive away. I even saw a wallaby hop by one evening while enjoying the deck. I recently stayed at a stunning hillside Airbnb, and it was nothing short of magical. Nestled on a quiet, private hill, the property offered the perfect balance of seclusion and convenience. The views from the house were absolutely breathtaking—lush greenery surrounded the area, and every morning I was greeted with the sound of birds chirping and the peaceful sight of the sun rising over the hills. The home itself was beautifully designed, blending rustic charm with modern amenities. It felt cozy yet spacious, with large windows that allowed natural light to pour in and provide panoramic views of the landscape. I loved the outdoor space, which included a private deck perfect for sipping coffee while watching the sunset. What truly set this Airbnb apart, though, was the sense of tranquility. The only sounds were the breeze and nature, offering the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The host was incredibly welcoming and thoughtful, ensuring everything was in place

We had the best time staying in Sander and Jeremy’s cute little home. After deciding to do a last minute little getaway Sander and Jeremy’s place was so easy and quick to book. The place has such a cosy and homey vibe to it, perfect for a little fam, girls trip, or last min getaway just like we did. We will be back!! ❤️❤️

We had a wonderful time staying at Wilhe's place. It was perfect for our big group and dog. The place was very functionally set up so that an easy holiday could happen and we loved the view, games and proximity to nature. Thank you for a lovely holiday-we would go back again in a flash. Fiona.

An amazing retreat in the treetops, with gorgeous views of the ocean! Very tranquil setting and an ideal place to unwind. Nicely appointed and you'll want for nothing. Our sense is that the house is a bit squishy for 2 families, not due to a lack of beds as such but more because the lounge area is quite limited in size and there's only one single bathroom/toilet. Otherwise, absolutely nothing to complain about and Denise was very easy to work with!

We had a great week at Michael's place. The yard is big and well fenced for a dog. The lounge, kitchen, pantry and bedrooms had lots of space for our family and were comfortable. The shower out back has the best pressure. It's just across the road from the MTB trail head and the West Barwon Reservoir is only a 3 min drive, which is a great place for a dog walk. Don't rely on the General Store for groceries as it's more of a cafe with a few essentials. Apollo Bay is the nearest supermarket. The Brewery is great but it wasn't open every day like Google says. It's a beautiful part of the state and was a perfect base to explore waterfalls and have beach days too.

Walking out, you can reach the beach not far away. Unfortunately, there is only one master room on the second floor, and the other room is on the first floor. However, the living room, kitchen, and balcony are all very large. I like this kind of sea view room

We enjoyed a wonderfully relaxing two-night stay at Glen View as a stopover during our Melbourne to Adelaide journey on the Great Ocean Road. Johanna is a truly beautiful section of the GOR where rolling green hills and farmlands meet the ocean. The cottage is delightfully laid out and well provisioned, with quality bedding and toiletries, a lovely fire-place and a shed full of wood (and reverse cycle a/c for the summer months and the impatient!) A visit to the chicken shed to collect farm fresh eggs and the orchard for some lemons was a nice treat for us suburbanites! The kitchen is fully functional with pretty much all equipment you could need, including a coffee machine. Absolutely loved it! Highly recommend!!!

A great choice for families with teenagers - there were enough beds for my kids to each bring a friend and they all made good use of the pool and games room. Their only complaint was about the rather steep walk back to the cottage, which may challenge some. The bedrooms were spacious with comfortable beds and beautiful forest views, and the kitchen well-appointed - if there was any utensil I couldn't find or if a condiment ran out Nicole arranged for it to be delivered immediately. We enjoyed walks around the property, mountain biking, beach days and golf in Lorne and visited Sheoak Falls. A relaxing and fun long weekend.

Chris and Lucy’s home was an absolute gem! From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and comfortable. The house was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we could possibly need. The weather was absolutely perfect, which made enjoying the beautiful pool even better. It was the perfect spot to relax and unwind! The location was ideal, with easy access to local attractions while still offering a quiet retreat with one of a kind views. Chris and Lucy were fantastic hosts—responsive, kind, and full of great recommendations. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would absolutely stay here again!

We had a wonderful time staying at Seaview Apollo Bay. The house had everything you needed and more. Hiring linen was an easy. Although GOR holiday letting sent through lots of information, was very hard to contact when needed to ask things. Would have been better if run by a local team. We would definitely book again.

Lovely location, kids loved the pool. Hosts were extremely friendly and generous. Make sure you remember milk it is along drive to pick some up!

We have enjoyed a very peaceful week in Joanna Cottage. Despite a couple of stormy nights, we felt cozy and warm inside in front of the log fire. Such a stunning view! I loved visiting the hens for a couple of fresh eggs, and there was everything we needed inside the cottage to make for a comfortable stay. Our hosts were always available to help us with any questions. A wonderful place to stay.

We had a lovely stay celebrating our wedding anniversary. Pool was lovely and we loved the gym and the sauna ($35 per session) set in nature watching the birds in the trees was a fantastic way to start the day. Wild life in the area was amazing, wallabies, echidna, kookaburra to name a few. The cottage was great, a second air con would be helpful as the first days were very hot and the one aircon was located in just one bedroom. Linen is fresh, decor lovely and the beds were nice and large (I do prefer a softer mattress but that is just personal preference). The second toilet was great for a family. Gentle Annie on Friday night is great and was a great way to celebrate. I liked the touches such as shampoo, conditioner, soaps, air freshener were beautiful. Lovely T2, bottle of bubbles and delicious jam were a pleasant surprise. We had a great stay and will be back! Thank you

Wow! This place is amazing. We were a family group of 10. Two families of four and two grandparents. As a group we ranged from highly active to reduced mobility (walker) and it was an ideal environment for us all to explore and reconnect, over and over. There was something for everyone. The swimming pool was brilliant and it was a real treat to be swimming and looking at sheep and horses grazing in the paddock, with rolling hills and bush beyond. The kitchen was great and the dining table fit us all, so we enjoyed dinner around the table together each night after bushwalking the various tracks. We thought three nights would be enough to do everything as the property looked to be reasonably remote, but we were wrong. There is so much to explore in the local towns and within the property. We loved it so much that we are already booking again for next year! Highly recommend if you want space to relax, bushwalk, and reconnect with loved ones. I could say more but I've run out of words!

I highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable, and convenient place to stay. If you are staying for longer duration then better take enough groceries as there is only Forrest General Store.

This is my second time staying at Roost and it is just breathtaking! Incredibly dog friendly, perfect setting, walk up the beach at Johanna to the rock pools. Two mumma koalas with babies right at the doorstep, Gang Gang cockatoo munching by the kitchen window. Can’t ask for more!

Wonderful location and a great gem on the Great Ocean Road! Look forward to another visit one day. Beautiful morning and evening views to greet you, plus the peaceful sounds of the waves!

Absolutely loved our stay! The location couldn’t be better—just a short walk to the beach, the place itself was well-maintained, and had everything we needed to feel right at home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a clean, convenient, and welcoming retreat close to the beach, we’d love to come back someday!

Gareth & Meagan’s place are great location and nature environment. They offer us for the flexibility of check in time because of the elderly people. Highly recommend to whom want to stay overnight at Apollo bay along the great ocean road.Thanks again

Kasey’s place was a very peaceful and restful house to stay in. We loved the ocean view from the deck and being surrounded by trees. Lots of wildlife. The house was very clean and comfortable and very suitable for our old pug. Very comfortable bed for us with lovely linen. A very highly recommended house for a mini break. Good communication from Kasey when needed.

We loved our stay at Mysa, it was spacious and beautifully decorated. It had everything we needed for our stay and it was in the best location, directly across the road from the beach and so close to heaps of restaurants, cafes and a supermarket. The kids had fun playing the PlayStation and it was good to have two living rooms when staying with extended family.

Definitely a place to stay with your partner for a quick gate away! Surrounding peaceful and got enough of privacy too.
