its a huge house / farm, in a peacefull area. we had a great time with our families, next to the barbecue and swimming pool. also we enjoy some nice evenings playing pool, and even going around with the dog and our little one in the farm, where juicy apples grow. was a very nice experience for all of us and the host was a very nice lady.

diretamente de um conto de fadas. os arredores da nossa casinha (ninho) eram fantásticos, com um riacho logo ao lado (mesmo) e uma natureza riquíssima, sem contar do jardim com jacuzzi e espaços para descansar. Stephanie e Wim tornaram-se amigos com facilidade, recomendo a todos que procuram um refúgio de paz e tranquilidade, acordarão com os pássaros e com o barulho da água corrente, à noite podem utilizar de um fireplace bem ao lado do rio, enfim, faltam palavras para descrever a estadia e a experiência, tudo muito confortável e agradável, 5 estrelas. obrigado, obrigado obrigado.

Wir waren fast 14 Tage in Davids Haus. Wir waren als fast 80-jährige Mieter von Davids Unterstützung in allen Fragen begeistert. Auch für unser Chico-Hund war toll gesorgt. Wenn wir nochmals in die Gegend kommen würden würden wirwieder Davids Haus buchen ! Ein absolutes Bravo 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The cottage was beautifully decorated and had all the amenities you could need. There are a bunch of fun bars and restaurants to explore in the area. There’s public transport available nearby, but all the main attractions are also in walking distance. We felt comfortable and safe walking around at night as the streets are well lit and there are always people out. Karen and her co-hosts were very helpful and responsive. We really enjoyed our stay and would love to stay there again!

Élio es una persona súper amable y comunicativa ayudándote y esforzándose para que tengas una estancia genial. El lugar es muy bonito y cómodo; te sientes como en casa. Nos recibieron con flores frescas del campo, se me hizo un detalle muy lindo. Gran lugar para hospedarse y conocer Mafra y los alrededores. Nos encantó.

Petite maison atypique, avec tout le nécessaire disponible. Piscine chauffée plus qu'agréable avec ce beau temps. Espace extérieur ombragé cependant un peu bruyant ( aboiements chiens). Nous avons eu un bon accueil c était impeccable. Plage et Lisbonne à une vingtaine de minutes.

A friendly reception and a quirky house with lots of character. A great place to relax away from the hustle and bustle of Sintra, but perfect if you have a car and like to self cater.

Все отлично. Очень тихо, уютно, удобно. Просторная ванная-комната. Большой, ухоженный участок с парковочными местами. Есть кондиционер, и, что было важно в марте, в каждой комнате, включая ванную, был обогреватель. Очень приятные, гостеприимные хозяева, и милейшие, ласковые собаки. Мы очень довольны выбором. Рекомендую 100%.

Obwohl wir zu früh wie vereinbart angereist waren, waren Virginia und Ihr Mann schon vor Ort und haben uns in die Gegebenheiten Ihrer Hazienda eingewiesen. Ein Willkommensgruß mit Käse und Brot und Wein - das war einfach fein. Der Pool wurde noch kurz gereinigt, und ein Rundgang hat dann alles notwendige erläutert. Wer Ruhe sucht und Abschalten vom Alltag, der ist dort gut bedient. Die Beleuchtung bei Nacht ist dann noch das besondere Highlight.

We zijn een maand in het huis van Margarida geweest en hebben het goed gehad! Er waren vanuit het huis leuke weggetjes te ontdekken om te wandelen en de omgeving biedt sowieso een heleboel moois! Je bent zo in Sintra, Ericeira, Colares, Lissabon… we waren ook bij het Middeleeuws festival in Obidos. Met de auto kom je op de meest fantastische plekken; kastelen, tuinen, kloosters, en de adembenemende kust. Het huis zelf was sfeervol en we hebben genoten van de LP’s, de mooie boeken en de dieren! Jane, de hond, was erg lief. Het varken en de schapen kregen met regelmaat ons oude brood en de restjes. Onze jongens baalden dat de wifi de slaapkamers niet bereikten, maar voor ons alleen maar pluspunten. Margarida was de ideale gastvrouw. Lief en betrokken. Dank 🙏

Sehr schöne Lage, Apartment wie beschrieben, es sieht auf den Fotos etwas geräumiger aus aber wir waren zu dritt, somit hatten wir genug Platz. Auf Nachfrage nach mehr Holz für den Kamin, durften wir welches vom Schuppen nebenan holen und es wurden uns netterweise sogar zwei weitere Heizkörper gebracht, die wir aber nicht benötigt haben. Der Kamin reicht fürs einheizen am Abend. Wird schon recht frisch wenn die Sonne weg ist, Hausschuhe im Winter empfohlen! ;) Die Matratzen waren sehr bequem und auch die Federbettdecken waren sehr warm & alles sauber. In der Küche ist alles vorhanden und Antonio hat uns zum Empfang netterweise eine Flasche Wein hinterlassen! Haben dort eine wunderschöne Zeit verbracht.

What a fantastic place. Spotless and felt very much like home. Weather wasn’t great but sure that’s out of everyone’s control. I would suggest having a car only because the microclimate meant you need to go over the mountain to find the sun!!🤪

Beautiful apartment with all amenities needed. Nice courtyard and outside space to enjoy the sun. It was too cold for the pool but it looked amazing. A view down to Lisbon and a great hike just behind the house . We had very friendly neighbors too. Definitely recommend for someone who looks for privacy and quiet

I can not say enough. This place was incredible. Beautiful! After a long drive from Porto, we were greeted by the warmest hosts. They took pride in their beautiful home and it showed. There was a crib set up for my baby, what a relief after a long day. Every room was unique and warm. We opened the bottle of wine they left in the gorgeous backyard and relaxed in our new surrounding. There was so much to do on the area within a short drive. We cooked one evening in the beautiful kitchen and had a family meal in the living room. My children loved the bikes that were left for them, they played in the backyard as we got ready in the morning. I don’t know how we got so lucky. We talk about coming back with other friends because staying at their home competed our vacation. Beautiful, wonderful hosts, would recommend to anyone and everyone.

Très très bon accueil, Filipe est très attentionné, disponible. Paysage magnifique correspondant à nos attentes et aux photos de Filipe. Le seule petit bémol pour nous a été 1 salle de bain avec le wc pour 6 pers. Ainsi que la largeur des lits un peu étroite. Mais si nous revenons nous prendrons les yeux fermés le logement de Filipe. Leonor and Paolo are excellent hosts who went out of their way to make our trip special! Stunning historical property put together with so much care! Leonor and Paolo gave us lots of local recommendations which were amazing and all worth going to. We would highly recommend this place - we felt we were so well taken care of. Fridge had a bottle of wine and pantry stocked up! The property has a beautiful private garden where it was great to unwind at the end of day. This is an excellent spot to explore the region for beautiful beaches and hike. We would love to come back again — definitely one of the best Airbnb experiences we’ve had!

Great location and excellent for a small group, beach and shops are a short taxi ride away but the villa has everything you need to stay and have a great time. excellent facilities and pool
