Coldingham Bay : locations de vacances en bord de mer

Just back from a lovely stay with my husband and dog! The cottage is well thought out and has everything you need. A very comfortable and cosy space. The best part is the location- we had our morning coffees outside overlooking the beach and loved being able to open the gate in the garden and walk straight on to the beach- our dog was in paradise! We will definitely be back!

What a fabulous little house! So cosy with beautiful views and a great cafe just across from it. Lovely walks over the cliffs - we saw dolphins and seals - amazing. Shame there’s not a pub in St Abs but we walked into Coldingham along the cliff path for a drink - we came back the same way as there isn’t a pavement on the road back but if you take torches the cliff path was okay - barely needed the torches as the moon was so bright. We will definitely be back again.

We have felt at home during the two months we have stayed at the Curlew Cottage. The place was spacious and very homely for a family of three plus a little dog. It has all that is needed, and the location in Cellardyke was stunning. We thank Lisa for the welcoming and we would definitely try to go back there if we ever come back to the St. Andrews area. Thanks!

Had a fabulous long weekend at the Puffin Burrow. Perfectly located just across from the beach and a few minutes walk to some great places to eat in town. We loved sitting in the window watching the sea with a glass of wine or cup of coffee (depending on the time of day!) A great base for exploring North Berwick and once we’d parked we didn’t move the car until we left. Walked from our door along the coast to Tantallon Castle and the cliff top Drift cafe (recommended!) as well as to the top of the Law for a great view. Slept well in the very comfy bed after enjoying the sea air.

Douglas has a lovely apartment, which we used for a short family visit to the Fife coast. Great to look out of the window onto the sea, while warm and cosy inside. Plenty to see and do up and down the coast during the day using Anstruther as an evening retreat for a meal and a drink.

A lovely clean , well appointed static caravan with amazing views of the sea. The site was very peaceful and dog friendly. Debbie was a fantastic host , great communication, she even messaged me during my stay to tell me a pod of dolphins had been sighted in the area so I could look out for them.

Had a wonderful stay here. Lovely location and we were lucky enough to get good weather ☀️ Apartment had everything we needed. Good parking outside the front door and we used the number 95 bus to get to other towns along the coast which was easy to do. I would recommend a stay at this apartment.

Perfect in every way! Alex was the best host we have ever accounted, VERY friendly, responsive and helpful whilst not being intrusive. The property, was pristine, so clean and wonderful amenities. The position is perfect overlooking the harbour and in easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach. The view is incredible and we spent many an hour watching the workings of the harbour with a glass of wine. The welcome pack was lovely and even had one for our dog. What we did like was that we felt our dog was welcomed rather than being restricted to one room, this policy had no detrimental effects on the property which as already identified is so clean. The parking space is very welcome just outside the property. Would highly recommend and will definitely be returning as soon as we can. Thank you Alex for a perfect break, you even managed to arrange the perfect weather as well!!

Perfect place to stay for a few days on a budget. About 10min walk from bus stops that led to the city, took about an hour to get into the city from here. Owners always got back with us quickly and were so kind. I reccommend staying here if you want more of a cozy stay away from the city!

We booked the caravan the morning we needed it as should have been staying elsewhere but due to illness we couldn’t, so booked in a hurry but everything was so easy and we were very impressed with everything about our stay, our grandsons thought it was wonderful, can’t fault anything and definitely worth a 5 star

My family and I went to spend just the weekend in Scotland but everyone loved the place so much we wished we stayed longer. The place was so nice and calm. A lovely get away. And very communicative. Thank you for a lovely stay will definitely visit again

David was very responsive. He had tea, coffee, milk and biscuits ready for us in the caravan. The caravan was perfect to the description and clean. He sent me clear instructions for check-in and helpful instructions.

We had a relaxing stay at Pebbles. Situated in a very picturesque park overlooking the sea and the wind turbines which I felt were quite mesmerising! The park itself has everything you need from entertainment, pool and restaurants. The beach was fabulous and we thoroughly enjoyed the rock pools and scenery. Lots to do in the area especially if you like castles and history. We would recommend a stay at Pebbles.

Maggie is an amazing host. We arrived to find groceries already waiting for us and a belated birthday gift for myself. Communication was easy and fast. Kids loved the bonus of the play station and the two ride-on bikes. Easy to catch bus 26 from just outside the park to go into Edinburgh. We loved that the location of the van was close enough to everything of the park but still in a quiet section.

Myself, Mum and 5 year old son just stayed for 3 nights and had a lovely break! David is a responsive and thoughtful host, replying quickly, arranging for the heating to be on for arrival and even leaving lovely treats for us to enjoy! The place is absolutely spotless, super clean and well organised, it has everything you'd need for a short stay. Would definitely recommend! We ventured to Cresswell Beach and White House Farm in Morpeth which is a must if you have little ones. Lovely memories made... as well as some sand castles!

Superb location, beautiful sea views and stunning sun rises both days of our stay! Immaculately clean with everything we could need, and really well stocked! The heating system was fantastic which is a must in the winter months! Would definitely stay here again during the summer time the kids absolutely loved it!

An excellent place. The house is extremely tidy, comfortable and cozy. The location is quiet and is a 5 minute drive from St. Abbs. Shona was an excellent host, always giving very clear and helpful instructions as well as leaving lots of information available for our trip. Highly recommend!

Beautiful location, immaculately clean and cosy, was peacefully quiet, just what we needed for a few days. Many thanks for the milk, wine and delicious biscuits - an unexpected treat on arrival!! And so warm and cosy to walk into straightaway. A lovely walk along to St Abbs from the cottage, and another down to the beach and along into Coldingham where we had a very tasty pub meal at the New Inn. We were lucky to have blue skies for our entire visit -wish we could have stayed longer! Bob and Lu were very helpful and friendly in their communication, wouldn't hesitate to recommend ..or stay again!!

This was a truly wonderful place to stay. Felt like home as every little detail had been thought about and was really cosy. It was perfect for the 6 of us. Great location right next to the sea with wonderful sunrises strolling along the beach. Beautifully decorated and well kept accomodation. Close to some fabulous attractions. We enjoyed Woodhorn Colliery museum, saw dolphins at Newbiggin as the sun set, a fantastic boat trip to the Farne Islands and Lindisfarne from Seahouses, Warkworth Castle and beach, and a stop in Amble. Thank you so much to our wonderful hosts who kept in good communication throughout and were really helpful. We would thoroughly recommend this place to others looking for a base to explore Northumberland and all it has to offer.

The Rockpool is a fantastic home away from home. Beautifully presented and a superb location. We loved having such easy access to the beach for our dog - she loved running on the beach. It was a lovely relaxing base to explore Northumberland and all it offers. Thanks.

A really lovely base for our few days exploring Northumberland. Spotlessly clean, seriously comfy beds and to be able to see the sea from the dining table was such a lovely treat! We will be back!

Had a fantastic 3 day holiday at this beautiful house. The house has everything you would need for a relaxing holiday. It is immaculate and really cosy. It is close to the beach and local restaurants and cafes are all within walking distance. Cannot fault this place at all and we will definitely be back.

Had an amazing 2 nights stay at Ben’s place great location with plenty of great walks on the doorstep. Perfect place for a couple.
