We enjoyed the house and it was larger than the pictures capture. we liked the openness of the kitchen, dining and living space. Great outdoor spaces as well. Quick walk to the beach and to a back dock overlooking the marsh. Plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms. All was as advertised. Everything was clean and worked well. Definitely a great option!

This is my favorite place that I have stayed so far, and I have been in some really fantastic homes. The flow of the floor plan, the decor, and the finishes were about as perfect as it gets as far as I am concerned. The location is great, too. We got a lot of use of the bike path, and the beach is easily accessible. Will definitely return to this spot as a top choice in the near future if it is available. Melonye was very helpful and accommodating in many ways, including limiting the use of fragrances in the home prior to our arrival per my request; this was super helpful to our guests with sensitivity to that. We all were very pleased with this property and recommend it to anyone considering it for an Edisto vacation.

The location is very maintained and has all you need for your vacation with cooking accessories, plates, forks knives etc. The location can’t be beat. Close enough to all but yet quiet and private. We will be going back!!

We have been coming to Edisto for years and while we sold our place on the Island a few years back, we keep coming as Edisto is such a special spot for our family. This year was no exception! We absolutely loved everything about the Octopus Oak and will surely come back. From the open concept living area to the incredible front porch the home provides a wonderful beach vibe and is well appointed with all the luxuries we are accustomed too at home. The quick access to the beach was great and the street the home is located on is absolutely fantastic! The owners were quick to respond to any questions and reached out while on our visit to make sure all was good. If you are coming to Edisto I highly recommend checking out this lovely home! Home is beautiful, and comfortable. Love the openness of the living room and kitchen. The king size bed was heavenly, after a day of walking on the beach and hiking, it was wonderful to be enveloped into a soft comfortable bed. My friend slept in the queen bed which was a little bit firmer and loved it. We both got great nights sleep, no aching backs. It’s near everything on the island. Fenced in yard for our puppers. Host responds quickly, we hated to leave. Definitely want to stay there again on our next trip. Absolutely fell in love with the place!

Wanted a nice, peaceful and relaxing getaway and Jeana's beautiful home provided just that! Had everything it said and was just a quick walk to the beach. There is a basket of blankets for pets and we did use one even though we brought our own. The kitchen was stocked with everything that you needed to cook with. We were able to get plenty of rest and relaxation away from home and decided not to venture too far because we just wanted to relax. We made a point to replace things we used (paper towels, trash bags, toilet paper ) just because Jeana was super helpful and a great host! We recommend staying here.

I wanted a peaceful and quiet place to get away that would allow me to bring my dog. Ashley’s home was just that. I could walk across the street right to the beach and it was especially nice to be able to take my dog on the beach as well. We both had a great stay and Ashley was a great host Deanne

We had a wonderful stay! The setting is so beautiful with large oak and palm trees! Very easy to walk to the beach and to Whaley’s restaurant. My daughter was so excited about the oak tree with climbing steps, she called it the secret treehouse😊 The house was very clean and had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

Everything (the views, access to the beach, the condo, etc.) was great! But what stood out the most was Alice's communication and customer service. She responded quickly and thoroughly. Thank you for making entire process from, booking to check out, a pleasant experience.

We have used Airbnb for lodging up and down the East Coast. Steve and Dana were the most responsive and helpful during our stay of any host I’ve ever had. I would stay again simply because I believe they genuinely care. The condo was great and perfectly located for my family with four kids. Thanks for the incredulous getaway.

Some of the amenities required an extra fee and were not freely available to us (workout facility, indoor pool, mini golf). We loved the house and it was great for our extended family. Would definitely go back.

We stayed in Nadine’s condo for a short period of time to attend our family reunion on the island! We loved the beach access, big back deck, and the condo’s pool close by. We didn’t stay much in the condo except for eating lunch and sleeping, but it was perfect for the two of us. The bed is a little too soft for me, but it was OK for the short stay. We really appreciated the black out curtains in the bedroom because that morning sun is bright! Thanks again, Nadine for a great stay and providing little “goodie bags” with essentials! We will definitely stay again!

Great place! Thought it was going to be oceanfront but that was ok with us after we saw how beautiful the villa was. I’m very pleased with David and will use him again. We had a great time on vacation!

Wonderful stay. Beautiful home and furnishing. The screen porch was a perfect place to relax morning and night. Nice to have the golf cart to get to and from the beach. Enjoyed our time exploring the area.

I was the former owner of this rental. Rebekah has made some wonderful changes & upgrades! I felt right at home & it brought back some sweet memories. Rebekah was so kind & responsive to my questions. We enjoyed our stay tremendously & will certainly request this property again in the future!

This was a last minute getaway, Chris,the host was absolutely amazing!!! Definitely enjoyed our stay,we had deer come out to our back porch every evening. The condo itself was clean,roomier than expected, awesome location near all amenities. I would definitely stay there again, & highly recommend it.

Chris was a wonderful host! This was our first time to Edisto and we will definitely be back and will book with Chris. The condo is directly by the pool. Close to the beach and delicious restaurants. You must go to Botany Bay while here. I highly recommend this listing!

The location was ideal. It was right on the ocean and had a beautiful view from the back deck. As well as the living room and two of the bedrooms. The layout of the home was perfect. It was decorated beautifully. The place was spotless when we arrived. We rented an LSV (street legal Golf Cart ) during our stay, which I highly recommend. We never needed to use our cars during our time there. Both the management company and the housekeeping, staff were friendly, professional, and had rapid responses to all of our questions. We definitely look forward to another stay at this home.
