Colombo 05 : locations de vacances en chambre d'hôtes

Renuka is such a gracious host. We stayed in a family room on our first night when we landed in Colombo. She gave us a great recommendation for a dinner spot. Our room initially had only 3 sleeping spots (we were 2 adults and 2 small kids) but she gave us a second room when we requested an extra bed. She also made us a lovely breakfast the next day with some delicious butterfly pea tea she had made. She even gave me some seeds to sow at home. A great first stay to kick off our Sri Lankan adventures!

Merci à Ishany pour l'accueil et l'accompagnement au top pendant la durée de mon séjour. La cuisine est excellente et le cadre est très paisible. Parfait pour se reposer et apprécier la nature. Point bonus pour la décoration qui est très belle. Enfin c'est propre et bien équipé, merci! :)

Je suis restée plus de 2 semaines au JMF. Priya, le propriétaire , Basil et Alex ont été aux petits soins avec moi surtout en cette période troublée. L'accueil est parfait, je me suis sentie comme à la maison et j'ai rapidement sympathisé avec Priya qui a été de très bon conseil. L'établissement est calme, agréable avec un joli jardin, il est très bien situé, juste à coté d'une clinique ce qui m' été très utile. Des marchands de fruits et de légumes de l'autre côté de la rue pour faire quelques courses , la gare très proche tout comme les plages et restaurants. Une chambre très grande et très propre avec un balcon et une bouilloire. L'accès à un frigo et un micro onde est très pratique, et pour palier aux coupures de courant, le JMF apart hotel est équipé d'un groupe électrogène. Le roof top est génial pour prendre le frais et pratiquer le yoga au petit matin . Rapport qualité prix excellent, je recommande vivement ce petit établissement qui propose aussi des appartements

Had one of the best experiences at Sunrise palace, we missed our flight and needed a quick booking for a place to stay, I bumped into Sunrise Palace and instantly was booked in. I got to the air bnb it's in the inside street but once the gate opens it looks beautiful, the place is big, sleeps alot of people, extremely clean, balcony in the rooms, extremely clean washrooms, impeccable stay I had the service was phenomenal, the food was fresh and tasty, we all had the omelet and wow it tasted so healthy and gave us fruits and fresh juice, as well as water bottles. This place is just amazing and I will be back in March thank you so much !

Hans ist die Art von Gastgeber, die man sich wünscht! Er war jederzeit für uns erreichbar und hat uns über alles informiert was wir wissen wollten. Über ihn konnten wir alles buchen bzw über ihn waren die Tuk Tuks echt ein spürchen schneller da hahaha. Die Unterkunft war makellos & wir würden auf alle Fälle wiederkommen! Das Personal war immer fröhlich und freundlich & ebenfalls immer bereit für gute Tipps!

It was an amazing stay. Sanjeewa and family are really kind and warm host. They put in extra effort to make guests comfortable and make them feel at home. I was delighted to stay at his great place and being hosted by him and his family. I would recommend anyone looking out to stay in Negombo to go for his place.

What a nice place located in a really good neighbourhood with cafees and shopping. Nice room, good bed and really friendly staff.

Do not hesitate to book a stay here ✨ I am not sure what part of the experience was my favourite! It was my second stay at Black Cat and as before it was the perfect welcome to Sri Lanka. The team are friendly and helpful, the room and bed extremely comfortable, the atmosphere relaxed, the space beautifully curated, and the coffee delicious! We arrived on the night of a jazz evening and they even managed to squeeze a table in for us at the sold out event. They shared local recommendations (highly recommend the Sri Lanka Rustic Food Experiences cooking class with Nim) and the location was convenient whether you’re walking or getting a taxi/tuk tuk. The downstairs restaurant is ideal for meeting friends, catching up on work or just reading in the aircon or outside on the terrace. Cannot wait to visit again!

Really really enjoyed our stay at the Black Cat and would stay here again and recommend to others looking for something that’s not a standard hotel and hotel room. When searching I found a 2008 newspaper article and was intrigued and am happy to say despite that article being 17 years old, this place is still here and offering a warm welcome, great stay with amazing coffee and breakfast. We landed by plane at 0500 and host was totally ok with me booking room the night before at arriving at 0600 in time for a shower and nap before breakfast. Neighbourhood is nice and there’s a late night ice cream shop nearby too. Bed in room 3 super comfy, aircon and shower both good. Getting around was easy by Uber taking either auto or car. We stayed 3 nights and would happily stay again. Thanks so much.

Padminee was a really very kind host. They welcomed us and prepared super breakfasts and gave us helpful information about places to visit. The room was nice and the fan allowed us not to feel the heat. They were really nice and helpful!

This place was a real find in the heart of a fishing community. The accommodation was comfortable and used by backpackers. The joy of staying was its authenticity - sitting in the courtyard, relaxing on the beach in hammocks and eating fresh food in their fish restaurant. It was extremely pretty and carefully considered. Breakfast pancakes were pretty good too!!

Great room, with air conditioning and hot water. Large and comfortable bathroom. The room overlooks the garden, where the birds fly and the sounds of the jungle can be heard. The house is very clean. The host is an amazingly kind and sociable person who also loves to travel. Constantly treated me to all sorts of goodies. The house is located in a quiet location in a residential area, while within walking distance you can find parks, cafes, restaurants, shops and laundry’s. Also a 15-minute taxi ride is the bus station and the railway station, from which you can go anywhere in Sri Lanka. The center of Colombo is about 20-30 minutes by scooter.
