Colón Island : chambres d'hôtel

Welcome to the paradise! A small and calm resort at the far end of Bastimentos, perfectly suited to relax, disconnect (no WiFi or mobile network) and enjoy Carribean flair and nature. But beware: you'll stay in nature (open-air bungalow) and as it's really small will spend significant amount of time with the other guests, incl. the delicious meals around the large dining table. As your welcoming host Michele already states this in the description and his communication after booking, we weren't surprised - and loved it! If you don't like nature, are addicted to your social media, or don't want to socialize with other guests - better don't come ;) Seeing the price for few nights, we gasped at first. But let alone the included tasty meals and great service is worth an significant amount. Taking into account how costly it must have been to build, maintain and supply this small paradise at the remote location, it's absolutley worth it!

I cannot say enough great things about Brian and Amy and the beautiful place they have. Everything was wonderful, I absolutely recommend staying here, you won't regret it. We will be back!

Dolphin Bay Hideaway is an amazing off-the-grid stay with plenty of water and wildlife activities to book, spaces to lay out, quiet and cozy areas to read or nap and oh my goodness the dolphins! You will see them from the dock and can venture out on a kayak or SUP provided by the property or book an activity to seek them out. Amy and Brian were fabulous hosts and I would absolutely come back!

Rustic cabin in a beautiful hidden away spot in the heart of Old Bank. Close to the boat dock to travel around the islands. Great value and lovely host, would highly recommend.

This place is very special. Brian and Amy made us feel at home right away. The location of the accommodation ist very beautiful surrounded by jungle and right by the water. We saw many dolphins in the bay and had a great snorkeling trip and hiked through the jungle. The food is absolutely incredible. The place was always clean and the hosts try their best to make your stay a once in a lifetime experience. This was the best place I ever stayed at and would recommend it to everyone. Thank you for everything, Brian and Amy.

Our stay at Bird Island Bungalows in Oct 21st 2024 was amazing, I wish we had more time to stay there. The views, wildlife, food, and entire experience there was an absolutely incredible! During our stay, I saw a sloth and its little baby relaxing in the tree. We also heard the beautiful calls of the monkeys while the rain gently fell on the rooftop of the yoga/meditation gazebo. Our room was immaculately clean and had good feng shui. The pool overlooked the private beach and nearby islands. All the food we ate was incredibly fresh and delicious.  The location is a little bit away from the main road, so make sure you read the directions they send you when booking. The staff and volunteers were so helpful and hardworking thank you for making our stay there so memorable! A special thank you to Angela and Gabriella. Angela for her yoga class and massage therapy, it was an incredibly healing experience! Gabriella thank you for taking care of everything making our stay worry-free.

Quede enamorado de este lugar, Daniel y Brian nos recibieron y nos hicieron sentir como en casa, el lodge es precioso, cada espacio esta decorado con diferentes artefactos de la region, Daniel nos cocino los mejores platillos que he probado en Bocas, y Brian los mejores cocteles, fue una experiencia involvidable y espero volver!

Daniel y Brian son excelentes anfitriones, alojar en su estancia se siente como estar en casa de amigos, pero en medio de la selva. Todo muy limpio, ordenado y la decoración hermosa, detalles muy bellos. Queda en isla bastimentos a 5 min aprox de la isla colón, Daniel te pasa a buscar, al llegar al lodge te encuentras rodeado de naturaleza, tranquilidad y buena energía. La comida de Daniel es otro nivel! Muy sabrosa y todos los días tiene un menú distinto tanto de desayuno como cena. En las noches puedes cenar solo o con ellos y el resto de los huéspedes (muy recomendado) Brian es un gran conversador y no faltan las risas y buenos momentos. Quedamos muy contentos con nuestra estancia y sin duda volveríamos a ir.

Si buscas una zona tranquila donde disfrutar de la naturaleza y la playa es tu sitio. El hotel tenía todas las facilidades que puedes necesitar, la comida está rica y Nahuel preparaba unos cócteles estupendos. Para llegar tienes todas las facilidades, en transporte público o con un taxi del cual te facilitan el número.

This place is a gem in near Boca Del Drago. It very reasonably priced, very beautiful property. We loved our stay here a lot that we really want to come back here. The people, Nico, Alejandra, Manuel, Piya and all the chefs were very warm, welcoming, helpful and friendly. The restaurant food was very amazing. My girlfriend has really high standards for food, she loved their food. Breakfast was included, which is amazing, they also dried our wet clothes. Their was a welcome drink for both of us. The pool is pristine. The beach and lagoon nearby are great. They have shuttles to Boca del Drago and have taxi people (Joel, Roland) who can transport you around at a very reasonable price. I would give this place more than 5 stars if I can. Would really recommend this place to everyone. Well done Alex and Kat for creating such an amazing sustainable property. We felt right at home. We will be back. Also will you a shout on Youtube.

We stayed here for our ten year anniversary celebration and were so happy we did. The weather ended up being a bit on the rainy side, but we still had a wonderful time going on lots of walks, playing games, swimming in the rain, and of course enjoying the food. Definitely our favorite food we had during our whole trip in Panama. We would have extended if we could only to try more from their menu. Thank you for a really relaxing time and we hope to visit your paradise again someday.

The best place to stay on Bastimientos if you enjoy peace, farm fresh tapas, and getting away from the classic tourist. This place is a hidden gem - I loved the private outdoor shower, outdoor restaurant, and warm welcoming from managers. I took a yoga class there and enjoyed many meals. You do have to go off the beaten path for a few minutes, but you’ll love it. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else I saw on the island.

This is a lovely little place in the very center of Bocas Del Toro. Our large room opened onto a beautiful huge balcony that over looks the active little town. Comfy chairs and lounges and even a great spot to work on your computer if that is what you need. You are surrounded with restaurants and bars all of which offer amazing food and drinks. You have super easy access to taxis and water taxis and all kinds of tours of the area. Our host Ana was a wonderful help with any questions we had. Her staff were superb! We can’t wait to come back.

El lugar está muy lindo, se siente mucho la selva, con los pájaros, monos y demás animales alrededor. Los anfitriones están super atentos a tus consultas y responden rápidamente. Los cuartos muy cómodos. La ubicación es alejada del centro, tener esto en cuenta a la hora de rentar este Airbnb. Además, la calle en la que está metido tiende a embarrarse bastante. Vale aclarar que por la avenida que bordea el mar podes caminar y pasan bastantes taxis.

Meghan's Airbnb exceed our expectations, it was amazing! The facilities were excellent and new, everything was very organized and clean. They have kayaks and snorkeling masks available, and they also offer breakfast. However, the Airbnb is not on the main island,Colon, and you’ll need to take a taxi boat to get there, but Megha. gives you a suggestion of a taxi boat driver to help you reach the location. For us, not being on the main island wasn’t an issue, but it’s worth mentioning that this island has no amenities, such as supermarkets or restaurants. So, if you need to do grocery shopping, you’ll need to go to the main island and take the taxi boat. This is the only thing we think guests should keep in mind when considering staying here. Other than that, we loved staying here,everything was very organized, clean, and well-connected to nature. Compared to other accommodations available on the island and nearby, this one stands out!

Our dog became very sick just before we were supposed to go on vacation at this Airbnb. Thankfully, the host was super kind and allowed us to change our stay to a new date at the very last minute for no additional charge. We appreciate the customer service level greatly!

The lush jungle, beautiful Caribbean ocean views and weather allow a peaceful stay. On the other hand, there are many activities to engage in. Our hosts, Mandy & Gio were amazing! The other staff, Alex, Rigo, Sarah and Julia were also fantastic and fun! Thank you for an amazing stay.

The monkey bowl es un sitio excepcional. Rodeado de mucha naturaleza, con silencio perfecto para relajarte y tomar unos días de descanso y paz. La ubicación es un poco dentro de la jungla, lo recomendable es alquilar cualquier medio de transporte, nosotros en nuestro caso alquilamos una moto. Taylor quien es la dueña siempre fue atenta con nosotros, la comunicación fue siempre a tiempo y diligente. Todo es muy sencillo en este lugar, tanto la entrada como salida. La habitación está perfectamente equipada, de buen tamaño y muy cómoda. Recomendamos este lugar sin duda alguna.
