We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful private rural cottage. We had walks on our doorstep for our four-legged family member, and the hot tub was a treat. Definitely highly recommend to family and friends 🧡

We had an amazing stay here. There were 10 of us, including 6 adults and 4 children. Samantha was there to meet us and was available if we needed her. The darts room was great and the hot tub views were stunning! We didn't venture out apart from a walk up to hangman's cliff (in 50mph winds) which was great and doable for the kids! If we had longer we would have gone down to the beach which also isn't far. Highly recommend ... we will be back!!

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely cottage. Helen the owner was wonderful and looked after us beautifully. The extra touches like homemade cream tea and treats for our dog were particularly nice. The cottage itself was beautiful, comfortable, spotlessly clean and in a really peaceful location. We had wonderful walks down to the coastal path and Bude is just a short drive away. We cant wait to return.

The surroundings were lovely and a large enclosed garden was great for the dog and our 3 children. we had many a happy night in the hot tub. Lots of things for the kids to play with. We drove to all the local beaches would say most things are within an hour's drive and would recommend watermouth castle as a day out if you have kids!

This lodge was amazing, great value, big, spacious and beautiful. We really lucked out with the weather so could sit outside on the decking in the sun during the day. Lots of communal space for eating, cooking, playing games and chilling out in the evenings. Clean, tidy and with loads of amenities. Felt new and modern, really bright and airy whilst also being warm and cosy. Really close walk to the beautiful beach at Croyde and easy driving distance to lots of other beaches and things to do. Hot tub was an amazing bonus addition which we enjoyed in the evenings. Some reviews mentioned privacy and the campsite nearby - we weren’t worried about this staying in Feb/March but for anyone that is concerned there is now screen fence around the lodge so you would feel nicely secluded. Would really recommend - we didn’t want to leave and can’t wait to come back!

What an absolutely beautiful place. Really managed to disconnect from the outside world. Owners have thought of absolutely everything. Thank you so much! Highly recommended and will be making sure other members of our families take some time off to go here. Could not have asked for more.

The house was gorgeous, perfect location for walking to the beach & pubs. Had everything we could need & more when it came to cooking our Christmas dinner. There was even a Christmas tree! Only disappointment was the hot tub not working but these things happen. Would highly recommend.

a beautiful home: everything had been done with care. Felt very much at home there because the atmosphere of the house is so homely, and yet also elegant. Beautiful views from the house. Tricia made us feel very welcome. And the location is so lovely for walks and relaxing.

A private little haven, but close to town to not be a hassle to go to the shops.Dog friendly. Kitchen was well equipped. Will def go back.

Myself and my friends had a lovely stay at Fish Cottage. It was calm and cozy, the fireplace was the biggest highlight for us. It was a lovely surprise to have a welcome bottle of wine! If you're looking for peaceful, quiet, secluded and just wanting to nest down for a few days, this is the ideal place.

We had such a lovely few days stay at the cottage. It was a great place to have lazy rainy mornings and cosy nights next to the fire. Everything about this place is wonderful. From the size of the rooms, the decor and the location. You feel very at home and its great to explore the lovely beaches and villages. We will definitely stay again. Alex is a great host. Fantastic property in a great location. The house has lots going for it...flexible accommodation - all very well kitted out, private hot tub in the enclosed sunny rear garden, very useful outside heated shower for getting the beach off you and prepping for the hot tub, the whole place has a lovely feel to it. Location-wise, it's only a short drive to some of the best beaches in the country....we SUP'd at Hele Bay, body-boarded at Woolacombe, and ate ice cream everywhere! Close enough to larger towns like Barnstaple and Ilfracombe, but walkable to the lovely Braunton with it's mix of pubs and restaurants. It's a great home, beautifully located.

Hallagather Farmhouse was a very successful find for our family Christmas week. It fitted us all in nicely - 6 adults, 4 pre-teen children & 2 dogs - all had lovely bedrooms with an en-suite or dedicated bathroom - plus one downstairs. Plenty of open space downstairs and a huge kitchen with the Aga keeping it warm all the time. The wood-burning stoves kept us all cosy when not exploring the short walk down to the beach and Combe Barton Inn, the coastal path, Tintagel, Padstow & the local beaches etc. Becky provided a Christmas tree and was a good host. I'd thoroughly recommend Hallagather - it certainly suited our three families & our pets!

Really a lovely and beautifully clean caravan, with towels and bedding and all the cleaning supplies etc so no need to bring too much from home. Stunning location you fall in love with straight away. Quiet in winter but you feel safe.

Beautiful place, hosts are very welcoming and lovely! The view and location are a million times more beautiful in person, definitely recommend booking!

We really enjoyed staying here during February half term (family of 4 - kids 11 and 7). The weather was fairly terrible but it didn’t matter as we had use of the pool and my husband was happy fishing in the rain! Accommodation well equipped and clean and really warm. The pool is beautiful and the rota system is good meaning you know you have the pool to yourself for half the day, then the other cottage gets it for the other half (other than the cheeky people next door on Thursday morning who ignored the rota and went in anyway when it was our turn…) The cottage is so peaceful with beautiful countryside around and our dog loved the field and woods. We went to RHS Rosemoor and highly recommend The Globe at Beaford for good food and really friendly service. It was exactly what we needed for a relaxing few days away.

Fantastic facilities and excellent value for money

The 4th time we’ve stayed at Little Burston. The cottage has everything you need, is lovely and peaceful and private. Carol is a great host and responds promptly to any issues. A lovely stay as usual.

Highlights here are definitely the pool and the play area for the kids. The pool room was super clean and operates on a rota system so you can have it to yourself. Clear directions on the map - dont follow the Satnav as stated. Jonathan was super helpful around check in / check out. Perfect place if you just want a quiet place away from everything!

Badgers House was the perfect venue and location for a large family break. House was well equipped and comfortably furnished. The indoor pool proved a knockout with the children - especially as the weather wasn’t great! The indoor games room was a hit for the male adults, who enjoyed hours of pool, and they hit the gym too. The woodland walk was perfect, we spotted a male deer, the children loved it! Hide and seek in the house was so exciting and kept the little ones entertained for hours! Thank you to Max and Alex for being superb hosts and giving us this beautiful home and setting to enjoy. Our granddaughter broke her heart to have to leave! We will definitely be returning and may need Toad Hall next time for more family members to come along and enjoy the beauty of this peaceful place.
