The penthouse was gorgeous! The most beautiful views to wake up to. You can enjoy a cup of espresso or a glass of wine on the patio with the most beautiful view of the lake. David was very responsive and helpful! We would definitely recommend staying here and will definitely be coming back when we visit Lake Como again.

We loved staying at Sebastiano's place. It was very clean, well maintained and peaceful. Gandria is a small and quaint charming village. We enjoyed spending time on the quiet, peaceful balcony watching the ducks swim by and the occasional kayakers. The kitchen is well equipped and there are comfortable chairs in front of the fireplace and a sofa in the sunken living room with a nice TV. The apartment looks just like the pictures and is very comfortable for a couple or two couples. Sebastiano was always responsive and he's a very nice and caring host. We had a wonderful stay! The host was incredibly friendly and provided fantastic local recommendations. The house was beautiful, well-equipped, and had everything we needed. Our dogs especially loved the fenced backyard, making it a perfect spot for pet owners. The remote location offered a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere—ideal for a tranquil getaway. Highly recommend!

Die Wohnung ist sehr gross, sehr sauber, und hat einen schönen Ausblick über den See. Die Küche ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Die Bäckerei und das Restaurant um die Ecke sind super lecker. Max war jederzeit erreichbar und hat uns Tips für die Umgebung gegeben. Einzig die Strasse ist bei offenem Fenster etwas laut.

Excellent location, close to restaurants and historic landmarks. Space is bright and comfortable. Hosts generously provided basic breakfast items in the refrigerator; milk, juices, yogurt, water, pastries, and coffee to enjoy. Host was very responsive, accommodating, and understanding of some travel delays. I spent my birthday there and they made it very special. Bergamo is a beautiful place and this apartment is perfect for your visit.

Beautiful views and comfortable villa to stay a few nights. The villa felt like home and had everything we needed to cook our own meals with a grocery store a short walk away. The location of the accomodation is a fair hike up from the train station and town of Varenna and the busses didn’t run at regular/ convenient times. If the weather is fine and you don’t mind a walk, it’s definitely doable (without luggage). The accomodation and town has an old Italian charm about it, which we loved.

Our family of four enjoyed our stay! It was nice having one bedroom with double bed, and a second bedroom with two singles. The place was clean, and the views of Lake Como and Varenna were amazing, even with cloudy weather and rain. The hosts were highly-responsive, helpful, and friendly. The walk from the parking lot is a bit difficult with luggage as others have said, but the hosts provided clear instructions with pictures to locate the apartment. We would stay there again.
