Book this property right now! You will not be disappointed! My husband and I stayed here for our anniversary and it was more than expected. The pictures do not do it justice! It has alot more space than what I thought it would and there is absolutely anything you could need for cooking including some spices and oils, and of course coffee. The hosts are close by on the property and communication was excellent and so friendly! The views are breathtaking even when it's cloudy and rainy. This was a perfect spot to get away and relax!

My wife & I enjoyed finding some time outside of the city to reconnect with ourselves, each other, & nature. We explored the rocks, took in the views, & used the hot tub several times! I loved the detailed decorations & the fire pit outside. It was a peaceful & unique stay. Definitely recommend!

If you are looking for a place to unplug and reconnect, this is it. The cabin is just as described and in the pictures. The only disappointment for us was not being able to use the fire pit/fireplace due to the burn ban.

What a perfect hill country house for our group! From the small touches to the responsiveness of our host, our stay was smooth. We enjoyed the hot tub and watching the deer from the porch. Can’t find a better gem.

This was our first time in Fredericksburg and we could not have chosen a better place. From the beginning of our trip until the end, the host was easy to contact with quick responses. The house was very clean and had everything we needed for the perfect get-away. It was close enough to Main Street and just the right distance away for us to experience the needed peace and quiet. The animals were a major bonus. Morning greetings from Zero the cat while having coffee was a highlight. The icing on the cake was being able to see the Lunar Eclipse while we relaxed in the hot tub. We will definitely stay here again. Tip: The longhorns love carrots and Dolly loves the apples.

Tamra and her husband Tony were amazing. They were helpful and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. Not only are they amazing host but they’re the best kind of people.

I think it was a steal. I wish we could have stayed more than the one night. I love the countryside (farm boy as I grew up) and this spot was great. You aren't too far from the main house but the privacy fence built between buildings ensures privacy. They have a really nice sound system which was playing good ole' country music when we arrived. We enjoyed the hot tub and the "cool pool" as well. The place was exactly as described and had everything listed. We were able to machine wash and dry our suits from hot tub use. They have very friendly dogs that will come visit you as communicated. They're kept inside while you unload and look like tough guys but they are sweethearts who nosed around just a bit to see who we were and never came back around. I would have loved to use the fire pit but we were there during a drought/burn ban. The outside area really is awesome. A veritable monsoon came through the night we were there - I can testify the place doesn't leak!

This was a sweet little getaway spot! We have lived tiny for over a decade, so this was perfect for us! We enjoyed sitting on the front deck enjoying some meals. The cottage was clean and well maintained! The bed was wonderful and comfy!

Nice place to stay. It was quiet and peaceful. It was a comfortable cabin with everything we needed.

This has been my favorite Airbnb so far! The location is amazing and the views are beautiful! The pool is absolutely gorgeous and overlooks the river. We saw deer, turkeys, and some really neat birds during our stay. We spent most of our time on the back deck enjoying the wonderful view. Erin was the most amazing host and was so generous and very quick to respond. We enjoyed our stay so much and can’t wait to come back.

Myra and Colin were so chill and very accommodating for my girlfriends birthday. They put up banners, balloons and even wrote a message as well for her before entering the cabin....she loved everything. We had a tour of the property and fed the zebras, ostrich and donkeys throughout our stay....it was really cool and my girlfriend loves animals...especially, the exotics they had from the eland, wildebeest, oryx and the gazelles. This was a FANTASTIC birthday for my girlfriend and she really had a good time overall. 😊 Thank you very much, Myra and Colin for your hospitality.

We had a nice time! Very peaceful, clean and quiet place. I like that has minimal decors and spacious. Dana and Kelsey were excellent in communicating and messaging us about their instructions.

The place was beautiful, perfect private quiet location away from all the noise. Had everything we needed and more, you dont needa bring much when coming to this cabin😊 We definitely will be returning again! The area had lots to do, friendly people and good food!

This little cabin was a great surprise. Came here for a few days for my girlfriend’s birthday. Upon arrival, we immediately knew that pictures hadn’t done the place justice. It was a lot more manicured in person and had a awesome view of the river. We drank coffee on the porch every day and bird watched/deer watched every morning and night. The bed was comfortable and the couch was just enough space to cozy up and watch a movie on the TV. Our dog is great off leash, and with supervision he had the time of his life down by the river. Bandera was an awesome town, and again, we were pleasantly surprised by all they had to offer. We are excited to go back and spend more time in the town of Bandera. The stay overall was basically five star, but here a few things to know: The road to get to town is windy and hilly and dangerous at night so be careful. Bring your own steak knives. You’ll have to space your showers out at least an hour apart or be prepared to shower in cold water. Thanks!!

It is safe to say that our family has made Callie's cabin our favorite retreat. Just 20-minutes from our home in San Antonio, when we stay here we feel like we are completely alone with beautiful and peaceful surroundings. We love that the cabin is always amazingly clean and well-maintained, yet we love that it feels older and is very rustic! Callie is always super communicative and extremely prompt in replying to any question or request. I probably ought to stop writing these reviews because we hope the calendar will never be too full ;-) as you can bet we'll keep coming back!

Our cabin was perfect! So cute and had everything we needed. The rate is one of the best in the area, I'm looking forward to my next stay! Thank yoy Stacey for my hone away from home!

A great getaway near the river! We appreciated all the extras that were included i.e. kayaks, floats, life vests, towels that we needed to enjoy the water. Everything was nicely labeled to help find items within the home. Plenty of items to cook meals. Highly recommend!

Perfect spot for a relaxing weekend! We loved our stay and appreciated the thoughtful hospitality.

Litzy was extremely flexible and responsive to all my questions and requests. I asked for flowers and candy to be waiting and she fulfilled my personal request in grand fashion. Litzy allowed us to check in early and leave late which made our stay easy going. The space is generous for a couples getaway and having a firepit to light up was a perfect way to end the night. I only wish our G unit had it's own firepit in the front. We certainly will be returning on our next adventure to Fredericksburg.

The cabin was very nice, communication with Cindy was very easy and the cabin is located in a great spot. My only critique is I would have liked notification in the add that this cabin is in the back yard of another rental with shared driveway access.

We loved our stay at the cabin. Nancy and Charles were friendly and gracious - going out of their way to make our stay so enjoyable. Nancy made great suggestions for our day in Fredericksburg. She even made reservations for us at one of her favorite restaurants. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. If we are back to the area we would love another stay.
