Sylvia and Don are excellent hosts and the cottage is beautiful. There is good access to nice, easy walking trails and a cool rocky beach without needing to use the car. Also good access to beautiful wilderness spaces with a pretty short drive. Great place to stay

Myself, husband and three kids stayed her for a few nights and had a great time. House is cozy and worked well for our family. Location is stunning - right on the water. We watched seals and sea lions cruise by and could hear the waves crashing in the night. We enjoyed the fire pit and sauna every evening and did lots of exploring in the area.

This place offers a complete package of amenities—sauna, hot tub, a well-equipped common kitchen, reliable Wi-Fi, fresh towels and even a stunning beachside sauna. I was particularly impressed by the unique character of Mark’s place. The attention to detail, from the beautiful gardens to the thoughtful setup leading down to the beach, really made it stand out. Connor’s place was great. We appreciated the close proximity to restaurants and coffee shops. The kitchen was fully stocked and it was a perfect layout for a family of 4, but with room for 2 more if needed. The washer and dryer came in very handy during our stay, coming off what was a very heavy snow day at Mt Washington. The space was very private and comfortable. We would definitely stay here again.

We love the Bowser area and this is our 3rd time specifically neighbourhood. Our visit was planned around this year's herring spawn and it didn't disappoint. Day 1 we caught a beautiful active spawn in NW Bay on March 13th after having lunch at the Rusted Rake and taking the scenic drive around Nanoose Bay. We also scored a few other viewings of smaller spawns in Qualicum over the weekend. It was an extra bonus going to see the take over of a portion of the Deep Bay marina by the numerous sea lions in the area for the herring feast. What a noisy bunch of visitors! but great fun to watch. Steph's place is also a short drive away from downtown Courtney where we went to the Saturday market and enjoyed a wonderful lunch in town after visiting Goose Spit park in Comox. We love the area and the peaceful retreat. Wonderful hosts and a great place. Thank you for having us!

An excellent rental for my crew to stay while working in Courtenay

George est un hôte très amical et bienveillant. La caravane est bien équipée. La localisation au bord de l’eau est incroyable (attention : un tout petit peu bruyant lors de l’arrivée des ferrys). Toutefois, le prix est élevé pour une simple caravane dans une allée, avec un vis-à-vis direct sur les fenêtres de la maison (même prix que les logements entiers dans la région). Gros bonus : l’utilisation des kayaks !
