Joe was very helpful and went out of his way to make sure we had everything we needed. Very peaceful and cosy atmosphere.

We loved the cabin, the place is very clean and cozy, the bed is very comfortable. The hot tub was already set up for us, we just threw the bags in the cabin and jump into the hot tub. The place is ideal for a relaxing weekend, very quiet and with all the kitchen utensils.

Really enjoyed our stay. Nice location, well-maintained, very comfortable. Food in the nearby pub was great too.

Our stay at Lisa's property was nothing short of perfect! Lisa went out of her way to ensure everything was perfect upon our arrival and was on hand to help with anything we might have needed! The place is located beside two lakes and is surrounded by nature. this combined with the amenities on site made for an extremely relaxing and enjoyable couple of days. Will definitely be returning again 😊

We had a wonderful stay in this cosy pod! The views over the lake were beautiful, even on a misty morning. We were delighted to book the pod with the private hot tub - it took a while to heat up (2.5 hours or so!) and next time we would make sure to bring some extra logs to keep it going for longer. We would highly recommend this location for a romantic, quiet stay or a small group trip with plenty of activities nearby! Thanks Richard for having us, we will be back!

Uve was an incredible host that made us feel very welcome in our stay. We were provided with great recommendations on where to eat nearby. To top it all off we weren't allowed leave without a cup of tea and a chat in the sun before we said goodbye!

We had such an amazing stay at Cabin 1! The cabin is beautifully decorated & it included a breakfast basket with croissants, granola & porridge oats - it also has a coffee machine and pods. The fridge had orange juice, milk & water too! There’s a Chinese 10 minutes down the road & Dukes ice cream is a 10 min drive too - both really nice. The cabin is stunning, it definitely exceeded our expectations & it has such a beautiful view of the Sperrin Mountains from the hot tub. Couldn’t recommend it more!! - we will 100% be back again soon.

We had a fantastic two-night stay in this idyllic location. I would highly recommend it to anyone. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Took my mum here for her birthday, along with my sister and our family dog. Beautiful, unique house with incredible views. Felt like it was straight out of a story book! Fintra beach was close by, and is a great wee clean and quiet beach. Have already recommended the round house to friends and family

The place was well located to explore the area and the Connemara national Park. great for a few days!

We spend the weekend at The little green cabin and couldn't have hope for a better place!!! Andy and Kate were the perfect host, There in a minute if you need them and Invisible when you didn't ! They even went to get more coal for the fire just to make sure we would not run out ! The cabin is just perfect for a wholesome peaceful stay! We loved loved the open fireplace and the big porch where even when raining monsoon style we were able to have a bbq without getting wet or enjoy the morning sunrise and night sky. The fridge was stocked with milk bacon sausages eggs pancakes... and there were also coffee,tea, sugar and other dry goods in the pantry. We have a reactive very large dog so the fact that is securely fence all around and he could roam around free without any worries and even the access to the lake for water play time was priceless! I would not hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for a truly relaxing time to stay here and we are looking forward our next visit!

Really enjoyed our second stay in the cabin. Ann knows how to provide a quiet secluded retreat with all the necessary amenities and excellent decor. Definitely will be back next summer ☺️🌄

Dulrush say that they are 3 star but we think the whole experience is 5 star! We stayed with our dog for 3 nights in one of the self catering cabins - it was the best start to the new year we could have hoped for! It was rainy and cold but it didn't affect our stay at all - in fact we loved it even more cosy-ing up in the gorgeous cabin with a view of the lake and watching old movies and playing scrabble! We had dinner in the restaurant which was one of the best cooked steaks we've ever had and we had the full fry breakfast the next morning and it was superb! We couldn't fault anything. We also brought our inflatable kayaks and had a stunning 2 hour kayak on the lake down towards Belleek - and spent a night in the hot tub looking up at the stars was magical! Bridie and James were the best hosts and we will definitely be back!

Una cabaña muy coqueta, con todo lo imprescindible. Muy limpia y a cuatro minutos en coche de la población más cercana. Un lugar ideal para dos personas, porque el sofá cama es un poco incómodo para dormir. Las mermeladas que deja para el desayuno están espectacularmente buenas.

I've stayed in many 5 star hotels around the country but none of them match the warmt and comfort of Little Rock Retreat. Cabin is fantastic, so cosy, comfortable, clean and the hot tub was amazing. Comfotable bed, clean linen, dressing gowns. Kitchen fully equipped with everything you should need. Small barbecue outside which worked a treat. By the way, thanks Robert for the charcoal. Dropped more up when we ran out. Overall, it was more than we expected. Our hosts Robert and Adele went above and beyond. From the time we booked there was clear communication on any questions we had. They made sure we settled in alright and made sure we were ok for everything. Couple of nice touches left in the cabin, fresh milk, bread, Tayto crisps, biscuits. Was hard to leave the place but will definitely be back. If you're looking for a place to get away and chill for a few days, this is ideal. Strongly recommend.

Absolutely beautiful spot! All the check in instructions were provided before, made it very easy to get into our unit. Host was so friendly and came down to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. Hot tub was ready to go and made for such a special night! Could not recommend this place enough!

We had a wonderful stay at Christiane's place. The house was adorable and had everything we needed, and was located in such a peaceful area. We wish we had more time to explore everything in the area, and would absolutely come back!

Just have to say thank you so much again to Elizabeth and John for our wonderful stay in their beautiful cabin! Couldn't have asked for nicer hosts, and the accommodation was so homely and cozy, we did not want to go home! The pictures don't do the cabin justice, absolutely spotless and beautifully decorated. The hot tub was so relaxing, completely private and well sheltered. We will definitely be staying again in the near future! Also, an extra thank you to Elizabeth who posted an item I had left behind at check out. Deeply appreciated. Can not fault the accommodation or hosts on anything. 10/10 Thank you both!

We only stayed one night, but wish we had the chance to stay longer! It was a lovely little cabin in the woods, perfect for a couple. Hosts were also communicative and attentive. Would highly recommend to any travelors, either just passing through like us, or staying longer to enjoy the area and beautiful surroundings.

Was this property five star in the traditional sense of the word? No. Is it five star if you are looking for somewhere to completely detach from the world and connect with friends / family around a cosy fire talking, playing games, eating good food, or exploring the stunning beaches nearby? Is it five star if you want to indulge in a wood fired sauna and then a freezing cold outdoor shower to cleanse your soul and senses? Absolutely. My husband and I wanted to completely escape after a busy Christmas, put down our phones and reconnect, and walk on the vast and empty Donegal beaches with our dog and Franck’s chalet fit the bill perfectly. Franck himself was very responsive and helpful despite being away on a break. I recommend a bracing walk the length of Tullan Strand, stocking up on yummy ingredients, getting great coffee from Foam in Bundoran, closing the door, lighting the fire, and settling in to relax.
