Limekiln Cottage is so unusual, it's hard to capture. An old cottage uniquely situated on a river, the river practically runs under the house. Oodles of room. We went for Christmas and the cottage was decorated with a beautiful tree and lights.Highly recommended. Also Andersons Boathouse restaurant in Killybegs also worth a visit.

I booked this cottage for my boyfriend’s birthday. It was for us to get away and just relax. This place defiantly did that for us. The cottage was spotless, warm, comfortable and had everything we needed and more. The hot tub was fab and we picked a great weekend weather wise to use it. Was perfect! I couldn’t recommend this place enough! Thank you for having us and we look forward to returning in the near future.

This place is just perfect and beautiful if you looking for a romantic weekend. So quiet and privet and the hot tub is a great bonus. Peter and Keith are a great host. The house is so clean and set up with everything what you need. We Looking forward to go back and recommended 100%.

we stayed there for two nights for my girlfriends birthday and she loved every minute of it. The weather was fantastic and location was quiet and secluded which was great to unwind in. The house was always warm and cosy and the views from the hot tub was beautiful. It was a perfect getaway spot and we would love to go back there again soon!

Mairead little cottage was cosy, warm and clean. A lovely welcoming fire, an amazing little find. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Mairead was very communicative and helpful. Everything was as described.

me and the kids had an absolutely brilliant stay. lots of room, in and outside. safe and private. everything you need plus more provided. wanted for nothing. shop just 5 min drive away. the place was super cozy when we got there, felt like home from the minute we arrived. super clean and tidy hot tub was amazing, hot and ready to hop in on arrival. bbq set up for ready to go. i honestly can't say a single negative thing about this place, it was perfect. will deffiently be going back. the host was very nice and helpful. if any queries always quick to reply.

Alfie’s place was absolutely if you looking to kick back and relaxing the hot tub was just an amazing highlight ! , very private would definitely return

This place was amazing and incredibly comfortable. Most importantly its views and surrounding fields and country roads are totally stunning and some of the nicest we saw in Connemara.

A fantastic few days at the cosy cottage. The house was everything we wanted it to be. Spotlessly clean, bedding fantastic, kitchen and bathroom suited our needs. And the turf fire was the star of the show! Settling down for the evening with the fire, a glass of wine and watching a movie on Netflix, what more do you need?! Location is very close to the Assaranca waterfall and the Maghera beach/caves. Highly recommended. Thanks again!

If I could give Audrey 6 stars I would! The cottage was cosy, clean and we had everything we needed. Audrey was welcoming and spent time explaining things, telling us about the surrounding area and ensuring that we were comfortable. I hope to visit Riverstown and Audrey's cottage again one day.

Noreen was a great host and very friendly. Any questions we had before booking she was extremely approachable and gave great recommendations when we arrived. The location is absolutely beautiful, very rural which is what Donegal is all about. The views of the mountains whilst sitting at the table outside for a coffee was the view I needed after Christmas week. Ardara centre about 10 minute drive away with a vary of different bars and food places to tickle your needs. Will definitely consider booking again in future.

Folan’s Cottage ist wirklich ein Juwel. Die atemberaubende Aussicht auf das Meer den ganzen Tag ist einfach nur gigantisch. Unsere Kinder haben, trotz der kühlen Temperaturen, die Füße ins Wasser gehalten – mit leuchtenden Augen und viel Gekreische. Besonders süß fanden wir die kleinen Strandläufer-Vögel, die geschäftig am Ufer entlanghuschten. Das Haus verbindet traditionellen Charme mit modernem Komfort. Die großzügige Küche mit der Kochinsel wurde schnell zum Dreh- und Angelpunkt, wo wir gemeinsam gekocht und gelacht haben. Abends haben wir uns gemütlich am Kamin zusammengesetzt und Karten gespielt. Die Abgeschiedenheit des Ortes war genau das, was wir gesucht haben, um mal richtig abzuschalten. Ein echtes Highlight war die Begegnung mit den Connemara-Ponys, die entspannt vor dem Haus grasten – dieser Anblick bleibt uns sicher lange in Erinnerung. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und hoffen, bald wiederzukommen. Ein großes Dankeschön an die Gastgeber für diese unvergessliche Zeit!

Peaceful and beautiful surroundings. William was extremely responsive and helpful.

We had a great stay in a stunning location with amazing views, very pet friendly with a big garden for our dogs to run around in. Teresa was a brilliant host, very accommodating with a lot of useful information provided. Could not recommend this place enough.

We’ve been traveling Europe for 6 months, and this was our all-time favorite stay! We got to spend Christmas at the cottage, and Pat and Mary made us feel right at home. We were greeted with scones and fires and Christmas decorations, and both Pat and Mary went out of their way to look after us and provide wonderful, local recommendations. We enjoyed visiting them at their bookshop-cafe and getting to know them throughout our stay. The cottage is incredibly cozy - comfortable beds and couches with two, large fireplaces - and the location itself was ideal. The kitchen is very well-supplied, and the showers were always warm. We could get into Galway city easily, or head deeper into Connemara to explore the Irish landscapes. Oughterard is a lovely town, and it had great restaurants and grocery shops and (of course) the bookshop-cafe! Highly recommend!

This cottage was the perfect place for a chill weekend. It was quiet, cozy, warm, and in a beautiful area. Highly highly recommend if you are looking for somewhere to get some rest and get away from normal busy life. We had a great time and the nearby town Manorhamilton has some great spots for food.

This cottage was a great first holiday/break away for our young family. The house was so clean warm and tidy. Catherine the host was so very friendly and extremely responsive before during and after our stay. I highly recommend this cottage and when back in mayo we will be staying there again once it's available

Mary’s place is a wonderful little cottage in a beautiful location. We loved the amenities. She had breakfast - scones with jam & butter and eggs - waiting for us. The location was perfect for getting to the Cliffs of Moher. Absolutely recommended her little cottage.

Niall and Inez were wonderful hosts. The farm was beautiful and very peaceful. We stayed for 10 days and got to enjoy all the beautiful aspects of the farm; walking trails, petting the horses and enjoying the peacefulness. The cottage was perfect! Very comfortable and felt like home. We enjoyed making a fire in the evenings and cooking breakfast in the mornings. We even made blackberry jam with blackberries from the farm and Inez’s recipe. The cottage we stayed in slept four; we had one couple and one single person and it was plenty of room. We felt very safe while staying on the farm. We utilized the laundry and that was very convenient. We rented a car to get around and enjoyed many local restaurants, coffee shops and castles. Niall was very responsive when we had questions or needed anything. When we arrived he gave us a quick tour of the farm grounds and cottage pointing out where things were. The farm is a must stay if looking for a peaceful place to stay.

Lovely place, close to a Crover house where we attended a wedding. Really comfortable beds. Easy to find and easy check in. Very well equipped kitchen for cooking and just a lovely place in general.

Meadhbh and Niall provided the perfect, peaceful stay and were also wonderful hosts! I highly recommend staying in their cottage.

Wonderful cottage near the Cliffs of Mohr! Jenny was always very responsive and gave great recommendations- loved Russel’s at Fiddle + Bow. Very comfortable and clean, beautiful updated bathroom and kitchen, very comfortable main room. Our family of 4 was very happy! Highly recommend!
