Lovely house in beautiful, peaceful surroundings. Andrew was super helpful and very quick to respond to any questions. The house was so private and tranquil, really good space to get away from it all. Would highly recommend.

Very tranquil and scenic setting. We went in late March and even then it was stunning, so it must be amazing in peak summer. A very well converted boat house, you'd not realise until you walk around outside and can see where the lake is. There's even a small area for sitting in amongst the trees and taking in the view as well as a fire pit.

Aoife is an amazing host We loved her house. She thought of everything and we enjoyed our stay to here It’s so beautiful sitting out looking at the boats and the Shannon Everything was precisely as Aoife had described. Absolutely recommend this Airbnb and Tarmonbarry is amazing Food in the Purple Onion was 5 star and we had great laughs The owners are truly fabulous business people who are passionate about their restaurant Great weekend Thank you Aoife

Noreen met us on arrival and made is feel right at home. The cottage was clean and tidy and everything that we needed was provided for. We loved the location, a quiet and natural setting in the midst of the countryside. We would recommend it as a great place to stay.

This house definitely has to be one of the best locations for a property, down a quiet country lane with a private pier onto Lough Ree, it was breathtaking! Judith was so lovely to deal with and quick at responding to messages. They left us clear directions for using all of the items in the house and we had a lovely time. Perfect house to bring doggos and kids. We had our kayaks and SUPS to make use of the lake and were able to watch the sunset from the pier, a perfect weekend. We'll definitely be saving this house for future trips! Thanks so much Chris & Judith!

Fabulous stay for my husbands 30th birthday celebrations. Large open gardens for the kids to play in. Place was spotlessly clean and was able to make great use of the hot tub. Fantastic stay will definitely be back

Was so nice to get away from the hustle & bustle and catch up with our pals with stunning scenery all around. We really enjoyed the kayaks, Ping Pong, archery & barbecuing in the garden. We enjoyed our stay in the spacious and well equipped house that our host Philip arranged for us (due to the power loss cause by a storm in the original house, Philip suggested a Carrick self catering house in Carrick-on-Shannon). Located right in the center, we had a private parking, pubs and restaurants at our doorstep and a view on the beautiful Carrick marina. Philip was very friendly and helped us feel super welcome. All in all, a nice cosy house in a perfect central location.

Right from the second we hit the lane I was in love, beautifully kept grounds and amazing driveway. I didn't have the chance to meet Robyn as she was busy doing clean up after that horrible storm but I had the pleasure of meeting her lovely mummy Dawn. Dawn explained everything to me very clearly including instructions on hot tub, heating and of course about the lovely wee village. I could have chatted to her all night and she even brought 2 gorgeous dogs to greet us which made my stay better. I would totally recommend staying here especially if you love forestry and lakes. Omg the shower is amazing too. You deffo have to use it 😂. The worst part of this trip was having to leave. I absolutely loved it. Everything was just perfect. Thank you for having us Robyn and lovely to have met you Dawn ❤️

The mews studio was super. Well equipped, clean and orderly.The photos are good but a nice surprise, the studio is better in person. The shower & toilet room is completely separate and spacious. We used the kitchen and found it had everything we needed. Plenty of neat space for bags & clothes. There was a nice welcome with lights on and the fireside chairs awaiting our arrival by the stove. Patricia was speedy with replies and gave us lots of information about the area and recommendations in advance. Lovely spot & the view outside the property is fabulous. The pub up the road was great (remember to bring your high vis jackets for the stroll up in the evenings). We stayed in this area to attend a match in Castlebar and we would definitely stay here again. Thanks Patricia.

Campbell’s Tavern is a special place and we realized it the moment we walked into the bar where they were having a live music session. Highly recommend sticking around for the music sessions. The apartment was lovely and just as described in the listing, and the pizza was great too! We loved staying here and would love to come back in the future!

Marilyn's place was truly magical even if only for a night...we wish we could have stayed longer. As a guest on their homestead, we were greeted by a friendly dog and lovable horses as we made our way inside. Every detail and amenity was worked out, including a warm fire in the wood burning stove, all sorts of amenities like adapters, washclothes, and heated water bottles...they had everything you would need to feel right at home and we got a chance to really relax in the space! Would come back in a heartbeat and only 10 mins from the city!

Many thanks to Adrian for a lovely stay on Boa Island - accommodation was spacious and pristine and easy to check in and the location is superb with just a short walk down to the lough for either a walk along the edge through the fairy wood towards the jetty and small beach or to have a play in the playground or a barbecue in the better weather. All together a real treat of a place and will definitely be back to book the bigger chalets available with the hot tubs! Also thank you Adrian for the tasty gift of a wheaten loaf - it was delicious!

Wir haben 2 Nächte in der Unterkunft geschlafen und haben es sehr gemocht! Das Airbnb hat einen kleinen Ofen, den man im Winter auch benötigt, weil es ansonsten recht kalt ist, da es keine andere Heizung gibt! Als wir ankamen wurden wir direkt erwartet und der Ofen wurde bereits für uns angemacht und wir bekamen Brot und frische Eier! Wir wurden super freundlich und herzlich empfangen! Die Küche ist sehr minimalistisch eingerichtet aber man hat alles was man braucht! Die Lage ist super schön und man kann gut einen Tagesausflug zu archill Island machen! Wir haben es geliebt!

A fantastic few days at the cosy cottage. The house was everything we wanted it to be. Spotlessly clean, bedding fantastic, kitchen and bathroom suited our needs. And the turf fire was the star of the show! Settling down for the evening with the fire, a glass of wine and watching a movie on Netflix, what more do you need?! Location is very close to the Assaranca waterfall and the Maghera beach/caves. Highly recommended. Thanks again!

My fiancée and I really enjoyed our stay at Mary’s Lough Eske cabin. The place was immaculately designed and had incredible views. It was nested in the mountain behind the lake so it was very private while still being a quick drive to get into Donegal. We wish we could have spent more than 2 days here just so we could have enjoyed the place more! Mary was very helpful and responsive. I highly recommend!

Achill Island is one of the most beautiful places I’ve ever visited. Deborah’s place is so nice and located right near Keel Beach which is really beautiful. It is very clean and spacious. We hope to return someday!!

“A place we keep coming back to” This was our second time staying at this beautiful cottage, and once again it was an absolute delight. We returned for the peace, the breathtaking views, and the serene atmosphere that surrounds the home. Nestled in the heart of Connemara National Park, the location is truly special – with sheep calmly grazing all around, it feels like a world away from everyday life. The cottage itself is cosy and inviting, with a lovely fireplace that makes evenings warm and relaxing. Everything is thoughtfully arranged and full of charm. It truly feels like coming home – but in the heart of the Irish wilderness. We wholeheartedly recommend this place to anyone looking to unwind, recharge, and reconnect with nature. We’ll definitely be back.

Very lovely, peaceful lakeside cottage as pictured. We had a lovely stay. Great value and restful base for exploring the Burren and County Clare. We loved the fresh eggs and getting to know the host's sweet dogs. The surrounding Burren landscapes are breathtaking.

if your wanting to get away from the hussle and bussle then this is the place your looking for. absolutely stunning scenery and so peaceful. We spent 3 nights at Araceli and Mir's cottage and wish we'd booked for longer, really loved taking the boat out and having a picnic on one of the islands in the lake. in the evenings taking pictures of the sun setting over the hills. loved waking up and sitting on the bench with our morning brew whilst listening to the chorus of bird songs. came away fully recharged.
