a perfect get away. my partner and I stayed over new year. We had a bit of a storm pass over and we where so cozy by the fire 🔥 We roasted a chicken and felt right at home. The perfect retreat.

Host had some great local knowledge about live music nearby, cliffs of moher, and local oysters. The place is small but well organized.

It is a beautiful location. House is cosy and comfy. Good location to recharge your batteries and enjoy quality time.

I don't even know how to describe this place. The only word that comes to mind is PERFECTION. This is the place where you can forget about everything and live a slow life for as long as you stay. So cozy and well equipped. The fireplace was the star of our stay. I loved collecting wood and spending time making sure the fire didn't go off. Patrick is very helpful and easy to reach if you need help with anything. The place has history and you can feel it. Loved the wildlife, and the swan couple passing by all the time. This was our favorite stay so far. We will definitely be coming back again. Thanks Patrick!!

Schöne kleine Unterkunft mit allem was man braucht. Frank ist ein netter Gastgeber und sehr zu empfehlen. Immer wieder gerne.

This was our second time with Nathan & Lucy at the Barn and we hope to go back. it's the perfect peaceful retreat and they are fabulous hosts.

Mairead little cottage was cosy, warm and clean. A lovely welcoming fire, an amazing little find. The hot tub was the icing on the cake. Mairead was very communicative and helpful. Everything was as described.

Justin and Veronica were brilliantly helpful, warm and friendly. Veronica was on site to meet us and show us around and explain anything. Justin was instantly to the rescue with a slight issue we had and he had everything sorted within 15mins. We would definitely stay there again and recommend their accommodation to others too.

Absolutely perfect place for our short stay away. Jennifer was amazing with communication and all instructions were very clear how to find the place and to self check-in. Very refreshing inside with plenty of natural light from the front window area. Kitchen had all we needed, maybe a pair of scissors is all we could think of, otherwise for a compact kitchen it was perfect. Bathroom was bigger than expected with a good size shower. Bed was so comfortable, big with lovely plush pillows and duvet. We felt very comfortable even on those windy wet nights thanks to the radiator. Lovely fresh eggs from the chickens which we helped ourselves, so be prepared they're fresh complete with straw attached to them 😉 Location was exactly what we wanted, private with plenty of parking right next to where we stayed, and at night it is lit up so you can find your way easily. Very peaceful too with beautiful views. We would certainly stay again that's for sure. Thank you Jennifer

From the moment we arrived caitríona was there to greet us and show us around. The cottage was so cosy and warm the hot tub was ready for use and stayed warm all night really enjoyed sitting outside under the stars and how peaceful an quiet it was the whole trip was so enjoyable and the pizza oven was fab not to forget the 2 doggies who were so friendly pottering around. 100% recommend staying here will be back in the furniture. Thanks so much for having us and been a fantastic host.

We had a great two nights here, the location is wonderful as it feels very remote but is an actually very close to the downtown area of Westport which has some great shops and restaurants. Kitchen had everything we needed to make a few meals as well. The hot tub was wonderful and Fionn’s instructions made it so easy to use! We would definitely come back here in the future.

Anthony was such a lovely host. Very honest and felt very approachable if an and when we needed anything. The pod was very clean and very perfect for what we needed. We had a really lovely stay, we will definitely be back in the future.

Wir haben uns in der Unterkunft sehr wohl gefühlt. Sie war ein toller Ausgangspunkt für unsere Unternehmungen in der Gegend. Wir waren sicherlich nicht das letzte mal in Irland:) Man sollte sich bewusst sein, dass es in der Wohnung etwas klamm sein kann und sie somit bei kühleren Temperaturen für Allergiker nicht ideal ist.

Lieu idéal pour se vider la tête. Nous avons apprécié la vue du paysage le soir, comme le matin au réveil. Nous avons pu prendre notre petit déjeuner dehors, c'est juste formidable. Le pod est très bien équipé et propre. Nous avons apprécié la discrétion de TOM, il était disponible si nous avions besoin de quelque chose. Je me souviendrais de se séjour fantastique

This was the nicest place my partner and I have ever been to- not only was the cottage itself a work of art in its design but also so well thought through with a small fireplace, a curtain that divided the sleeping part of the room and the windows with a really cosy armchair in front that I would read my books in while waiting for my partner to wake up. It is so quiet and green all around, beautiful walking paths and an easy way to reach town. Irma was the sweetest host ever; she warmed the stove and left us homemade bread with irish butter and advised us kindly on where to find local music and what walks would be most scenic. A truly inspiring person in an incredibly inspiring place!

The cabin is exactly what we were after. It’s set within a beautiful garden, and is in a great location to explore Connemara. Jo was very responsive and lovely - the perfect host!

We booked a last minute trip to Fergals cabins for a weekend of relaxing and to look at our wedding photos. Fanny O'Deas was an absolute gem and Fergal was an amazing host. The cabin was bigger than I thought and it was super cosy. Fergal was so lovely and we felt right at home! Thanks so much for a lovely stay and a delightful egg flip!

We had an amazing stay in Lahinch, where every detail was thoughtfully designed for comfort and style. Our host, Donncha, was exceptional—welcoming, attentive, and full of great local recommendations. He went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect, adding personal touches that made us feel truly at home. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience!

We (family of four) stayed in Ashleigh and Micks lovely cottage for a week. The cottage is very private with beautiful countryside views. It is really nicely decorated, and comfortable with a beautiful kitchen which was very well equipped, with all utensils, an oven, hob, microwave and Nespresso coffee machine. Communication in advance of visiting was very clear and we easily found the cottage. We really enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it - thanks very much Ashleigh and Mick!

I booked the place wanting to stay in the Ox Mountain area as my grandmother loved to glance at the Ox Mountain in north direction as she lived south of Moy River. It was first trip for my best friend, so it was spectacular place to be especially time of the year with all of these fresh snow and experience what it was like to live with turf fireplace. I am humbled by all of this experiences and beautiful surroundings. Dermot and Monica were thoughtful and friendly hosts. Their recommendations on places to visit and where to eat were spot on! You cannot beat the spa fees - affordable price! It is good for anyone who wants to be off the grid from phones/technology and be in tuned with the nature, animals and people.
