We had a lovely stay in Mountcharles and were welcomed in the friendliest way. Tina was a wonderful host, the appartement was cozy and had everything we could have possibly needed, 100% recommend!

Perfect spot for a couple to stay in Galway! Super walkable to all of the pubs, restaurants and attractions. Kitchen space was great if you wanted to do a bit of cooking. Bed was large & comfortable.

Wonderful host, wonderful apartment. Liz (and Brian) epitomise Airbnb Superhosts - welcoming, proactive communicators, spotless apartment and accurate description of the property. Liz made a special effort to check us in earlier than the official time, which we greatly appreciated, and Brian gave us heaps of suggestions for eating out in Clifden (special shout out for The Willow Tree - gorgeous food) and places to see. The apartment is very comfortable, bright and spacey with a really nice energy. Very well-appointed kitchen, big living-room and the very large bed was mega-comfortable (we only used one of the 2 bedrooms but the other looked equally nice). The south-facing balcony is private and looks out on the harbour - perfect spot for a glass of your favourite. Even though you're only a few steps from the town centre with its array of restaurants and pubs, it's very quiet. Clifden is a great base for exploring Connemara. No hesitation in recommending this property, it's excellent.

El acceso es simple, pero la cajita de llaves con el cordón retráctil es incómoda. Unas copias de llave serían más prácticas. Al entrar, hay un minipasillo con otra puerta y la de mi alojamiento. Apenas entrás, está la sala con un sofá, una mesa ratona y la TV. No había enchufes a mano, así que usé el USB de la TV. El internet no funcionaba al llegar, pero se solucionó. Siguiendo por un pasillo largo, primero la habitación, impecable, con buen aroma y una cama súper cómoda. Luego el baño, con todo lo necesario y más, incluso enjuague bucal y productos femeninos. Al principio no había papel, pero el anfitrión lo trajo enseguida. Al final del pasillo, la cocina: pequeña, con todo algo amontonado, pero bien equipada. Lo incómodo fue no tener mesa con sillas, así que comía en la mesa ratona de la sala. No es grave, pero moverse con la comida era incómodo. Se escuchaban bastante los pasos del piso de arriba. A mí no me molestó, pero si sos de sueño ligero, puede ser un detalle a considerar

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour. Le logement est très calme et très bien équipé.Proche de nombreux lieux touristiques. Je recommande ce logement.

Lovely place to stay in Galway! Beds were comfortable and Gillian was extremely responsive. About a 20 minute walk to the city centre. The jam, bread and coffee left were such a nice treat! Would recommend!!

Lovely stay on boa island! Very peaceful and the hot tub was a treat. The cabin is well furnished, beds super cosy and had everything we need as a group of 5. Great communication with the hosts and they were so nice to add some welcome amenities for us as well Would love to stay again!

Un très beau cottage, dans un lieu tranquille et paisible. En arrivant dans la région, c'est un mouton que nous avons croisé sur la route, et ce sont les animaux qui étaient nos voisins. Le logement est propre et confortable. La pièce de vie est très agréable pour lire, jouer aux jeux de société ou boire un thé en profitant de la vue. La douche possède un mitigeur et il y a une bonne pression (ce qui est plutôt rare en Irlande). Il y avait tout ce dont nous avions besoin. Nous sommes partis à deux couples, et chacun avait son petit espace distinct la nuit. Je recommande !

Chris and Colette were fantastic hosts, ensuring that every need was met during my stay. Their property is exceptionally well-maintained, and I look forward to returning in April 2025. Having not visited Sligo since childhood, I was delighted to find it so conveniently located near my old home. The river walk to Dooley Park is particularly beautiful and adds to the charm of the area. Highly recommended!

This house was a great find and suited our needs perfectly . When we arrived Michael checked with us about our local knowledge. But he was completely unobtrusive apart from that. The facilities are excellent and the house was spotless. Heating was really good. Set on a timer but house remained warm even when off. Dromod is a nice quiet village well placed for larger towns like Carrick on Shannon and Longford. Totally recommended

Excellent apartment in beautiful village in perfect location to tour Connemara . Hugh was an excellent host and all his advice proved spot on and very helpful . We will be back and will highly recommend to all .

We really enjoyed our stay at Maxs Airbnb. The place was lovely and clean and warm. Really responsive and pleasant host. Lots of great recommendations and check in to make sure we were good. We also had our three small dogs with us and we were so happy to find a place that is pet friendly. 10/10

We had an amazing stay, Mary is the perfect host and gave us a lovely welcome, the property is as listed and the views are breathtaking, my daughter enjoyed feeding the donkeys and bumping into them on the beach. If you don't have a car Bernard Ornsby is an excellent local taxi service.

We had a lovely stay at Michelle’s place in Clifden. It was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and so much more spacious than in the photos. The luxury bedding, robes and towels made it feel like a hotel, but with all the comforts of home. The kitchen was really well equipped (with a Sage coffee machine!) and there was plenty of room for our dog’s bed in there too. It’s rare to find somewhere so nice that’s also dog friendly—we were really impressed. The location was great, super close to town for restaurants and shops, but still peaceful and ideally placed for driving to lots of beautiful walks in Connemara. Michelle had thought of everything and was really communicative and helpful throughout. Would highly recommend for a fabulous stay and host!

Michelle’s place was in a great location so close to all the things in the city and just outside! We enjoyed the modern decor and the patio outside was so cute! We stayed over St Patrick’s day, so it was a bit loud outside at times, but, the place was comfy and suited our family of 5 adults well. Would book again on a return trip.

Catherine's place is very organised and clean. The building it is in in very quiet and there is parking which is a plus. If you are a happy walker, then getting to the high street is no problem at all. We walk a lot, but did land up driving in to town for dinner because we weren't sure about walking back late and the weather was not overly cooperative. Very quick drive in - under 10 mins. It was about a half hour walk to the high street through a lovely park and just over half an hour walk to the start of the Parkrun up the Western Way if you are interested in that. Both can be driven. It's pretty busy in town, so finding parking just on the side of the street during the day was interesting. Rather walk. If the weather had been a little less wet, we wouldn't have used the car at all.

The house was amazing, everything was new and clean, and the location very peaceful and beautiful. Gerry and Leslie were great, very proactive and responsive in the communication, they made sure we checked in smoothly and provided also recommendations for restaurants and spots around. We enjoyed our stay a lot, wish we had more days. Super recommended.
