Even in the winter this spot was beautiful! The actual barn itself stays super warm and cozy and the bed is very comfortable. Rio and Toby were responsive, friendly and made us feel right at home. It’s also very conveniently located right near a good swimming spot and not far from New Paltz. My partner and I kept talking about how excited we are to hopefully come back in the spring/summer when everything on the grounds is in full bloom!

When my plumbing went rogue and turned my floor into a squishy disaster zone, I needed a place to crash that wasn’t half underwater. Enter Sally’s place—a true oasis in my time of crisis. First off, this place is so nice that I briefly wondered if my house was even worth saving. It’s cozy, beautifully decorated, and so clean. The bedroom and bathroom are upstairs, making me feel like I was living the high life—literally. The bed? Like sleeping on a cloud. The view? So peaceful I considered writing poetry. Bottom line: If you need a place to stay, stop scrolling. Just book it. But be warned—you may never want to leave.

Our family had a wonderful time at Larissa’s farm. Our three kids loved working on the farm - learning, contributing, and being outside - and Larissa is just such a kind person who was super patient with the kids. The apartment was great, everything you need for a short stay, and was just what we were looking for, clean and well-kept. Larissa provides a ton of info about stores and restaurants and activities nearby, and we just had such a fantastic and relaxing time. Highly recommend!

Fantastic space for a large group. We had 10 people for a New Year’s Eve ski weekend, and this was the ideal spot for it. Hot tub was a great treat. Be warned - the floors are squeaky, so if you’re a light sleeper in a large group bring ear plugs.

Such a beautiful winter getaway, my bf and I came here for VDay weekend. We loved the private quiet area for just two of us the space was perfect. Can’t wait to come back in summer to utilize the natural pool.

We are very grateful to Amy for her lovely home! We live in Woodstock and had a home disaster which made us have to leave on short notice--5 people and a dog--and were so fortunate to find Amy's listing. The house was gorgeous and homey, with more than enough room to accommodate us all. We made the booking and were able to check in immediately because Amy was so responsive. It was great to be walking distance to town and also to have such a well-equipped kitchen, so we could cook at home. We would definitely recommend this rental to anyone!

Loved the place - so beautiful. Everything was as pictured. Loved the heated toilet seat! Just need to know it is a dirt road for a bit before 797, and if there in rainy season there are deep ruts. And steep stone steps to the loft and then a railed stairway. So if anyone has any mobility issues they need to know ahead of time. Shawn was gracious and brought over some coffee beans for the morning brew. Close to downtown Brattleboro. Missed going for a walk. Such a lovely property.

This place was a perfect weekend get away for myself and husband. Plenty of space for the two of us. The place was nicely, decorated and fully furnished with accessories if you wish to cook. I enjoyed the spaces between the outside patio as well as the hot tub. Bill was great with giving suggestions of local places, even though I was a local myself.. if you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is your place.

Amazing place to relax and to pause life for a bit. My wife and I truly enjoyed the house, so much detail and care went into putting this home together - we would repeat our stay!

This was our group’s 2nd year at the Sundance Lodge and it was perfect yet again! Kitchen is massive and perfect for gathering and catching up.

Jaryn is an excellent host. Very kind, clear and professional. The barn is absolutely unique! You can stay with friends or family or take the place to yourself to work and / or clear your head. Total peace! I look forward to revisiting in the future!

Our stay was lovely. The house is beautiful and spacious with books galore! I found an I-Pod with nice music for a great evening. The view was serene and relaxing. I loved my stay and would recommend the Book Barn 100%.

You can’t stay here without mentioning Patty. She was an absolute gem from start to finish. Warm, welcoming, accommodating…such a delight! The barn is incredible. Meticulously crafted and cared for. The bank of doors overlooking the pond mirrored by the bank of doors to view the saw mill made it very easy to take a deep breath and pause for the weekend. There are so many things to mention but on top of the views some favorites include: the shower (luxurious), radiant floors, the lighting (not a big overhead light in sight!), the projector screen, wood burning fireplace, kitchen set up…it’s all wonderful. My goal was to unwind, relax and turn off all the outside ‘noise’. I’ve never been so relaxed and refreshed from a single weekend way. Ever. I will most definitely book again!

This listing was wonderful and exactly as described! The view of the mountains in the backyard was breathtaking to wake up to every morning. The house had all the amenities we wanted and more including a full stocked kitchen, washer & dryer, a bbq, very hot showers, automatic shades and a fireplace. It is about a 5-minute drive to Hunter Mountain resort which was very convenient for us. I loved how much effort was put into the esthetic of the listing including the interior design. The home was pristine and the bathrooms had heated floors which was such a nice thing to come home to. We had a group of 8 and the place felt large enough for everyone. Overall, I highly recommend staying here when visiting Hunter Mountain resort!

Great large space! Jaime was very communicative and accommodating, offering early check in and late check out. Kitchen was nicely stocked, great for cooking for large groups.

a comfortable cozy environment, got some snow when visiting and was able to stay warm in the house!! very close to portland, and it’s a beautifully done home! we will definitely come back in warmer weather to enjoy more of the surrounding area!!

The River Barn exceeded my expectations. Everything is well thought out. Lots of extra touches. The kitchen is stocked with quality tools for any possible cooking need. Espresso pods were provided, wonderful selection of teas, an entire spice rack, oil and vinegar, etc. Bedding and towels were top notch, mattress very comfortable, lots of hot water for showers. We didn't utilize the backyard as it was winter, but it is a good size for warmer weather activities. What we did utilize to its fullest was the wonderful fireplace. The couch in front of it seats deep and is solid and restful. The record player, with a great selection of albums, sets the mood. An able place to while away a lazy February afternoon, then stroll into town for a dinner at the historic Griswold Inn.

Very cute loft apartment. Clean, comfy and warm. Only 10 minutes from White Face Mountain, and 10-30 minutes to all the high peak hikes. Alex did a great job plowing the driveway to ensure we come and go during a huge snow storm. Pro tip: buy the moon cake cheese (made on the farm) and the local bread from the farm store (literally a few feet from the apartment) for the best post ski grilled cheese in the world

We had a wonderful experience staying at this Airbnb. The host was incredibly accommodating and made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The space was spotless, and it was clear that great care went into maintaining the property. From the little details to the overall comfort, everything exceeded our expectations. I love staying at Nina and Tony's Brunswick Beata when I visit Maine. Nina and Tony are pure gems and great to talk to. The barn is spaciaous and comfortable. The garden is always delightful even in the waning Fall. So cozy and relaxing! I will return again and again!

This was our second time to piece of dirt ranch and again…it did not disappoint! We love this place! The hosts are amazing and their pups are so sweet! Words simply cannot describe how magical this Airbnb experience was. a group of friends and I passed the hours marveling at the gorgeous art and curated knick-knacks - the home itself an endless source of fun. - like an interactive museum! Thats without even mentioning the property, the pond, the waterfall, the chickens, tire swings and HOT TUB! Truly a miraculous experience, would highly recommend and we will absolutely be returning.
