Wonderful stay at Richard and Iola’s cottage with my friends- a perfect peaceful getaway with the most beautiful surroundings. Hosts were very helpful and responsive, always ready to answer any queries. Cottage matched the description, plentiful amenities and felt like we weren’t missing anything we wouldn’t have at our own homes.

My mother and I had the most wonderful weekend retreat at this charming cottage for her Bday. From the moment we arrived, we felt welcomed and at home. The space is beautifully decorated with a quirky yet cozy touch, making it both unique and incredibly comfortable. The attention to detail was impeccable—everything was spotless, well-stocked, and thoughtfully arranged. The peaceful surroundings added to the relaxing atmosphere, making it a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Our host was fantastic—friendly, accommodating, and always available for any questions or recommendations. We truly appreciated their hospitality and effort in making our stay special. If you’re looking for a cozy, character-filled getaway with all the comforts of home, this is the place to be. Highly recommend, and we can’t wait to return

Had the pleasure of staying at Harvey’s place at the weekend. We absolutely loved it. Plenty of space for us and our friends. The location is incredible. The house is beautiful with loads of interesting books/pictures. The kitchen is really well equipped. Bedrooms are spacious , bathrooms nice and clean. Harvey was a brilliant host, friendly and informative. Hoping to come back later in the year as 3 nights wasn’t long enough. Highly recommended

We had a brilliant stay here over New Year. We had 8 adults & a toddler and had plenty of space for all of us. The house was very warm and cozy, with a great kitchen/dining space and a utility room perfect for taking off muddy boots. The area was beautiful with lots of hiking, cycling and running right from the doorstep with Llyn Brenig in very easy access. The host was very helpful with plenty of information beforehand and responsive when we had problems with a sticky door. Would happily return here.

This was a really nice and spacious property, ideal for a family. With shops nearby and a playground next to the house it was perfect for little outings.

Honestly one of the best Airbnbs I’ve stayed in! My boyfriend and I came to stay as we were hiking snowdon, so it’s a great location (about 45 mins from snowdon). The cottage is gorgeous, comfy bed and squeaky clean. Jackie was a great host and extremely helpful :) the only thing I would change is I wish I booked a longer stay!

We loved being there - didn't really want to leave. Thank you for the bara brith and eggs. Without being cluttered, everything we needed was there and no stinginess - plenty of everything. We had a grocery delivery from Sainsbury's which arrived on our first evening - I'd recommend that, because there aren't any good grocery shops nearby. The Spar in Betws and the smaller Spar in Dolwyddelan would be fine for essentials but didn't have things like tomato juice or tinned tomatoes. But that wasn't a problem as we don't like to go grocery shopping while on holiday anyway. The time we spent at the chapel was every bit as lovely as our scramble up Tryfan and walk round Llyn Crafnant: such big windows, full of light and space and every comfort. Want to come back soon. Loved the ewes with their gamboling and lolloping lambs :-) Thank you both, Charlotte (and Stelios and the kids!)

My sister, cousin and I stayed at John & Sam’s place for 2 nights over the weekend as we planned to hike Snowdon. It was a cosy, comfortable stay in the perfect location with the most amazing shower and bath (which was really needed after a long day!) John introduced himself and was always responsive when we had any questions. We felt very much at ease the whole time. Definitely recommend!

Lovely building with high ceilings and views out onto the lake. Beautiful location. We were greeted by Geoff who met us for check in and was really friendly and helpful.

I was very comfortable for the four weeks I stayed at Darren's in Waterloo. The location was close walking distance to all the amenities and easy to grab a train farther afield. Really nice beach only 10 min walk away. The flat itself is modern, well laid-out and well-maintained and the kitchen is fully equipped for a single person or a couple for even extended stays. Darren was a communicative, considerate host so I always felt like I had support if anything went wrong. I'd definitely come back.

There really was a round window with a great view of the Marina lake which took us just over half an hour to walk around. The accommodation was excellent and the little extras Nicky left were very thoughtful. The location was good, just a 5 minute walk took us to the small local shops, cafes and bars. I would certainly recommend this to family and friends who like to visit somewhere new in the North West of England.

Stunning location and you really get to disconnect from everything for some down time. Amazing walks straight from the front door.

David was a brilliant host, easily reachable on messaging and very responsive. I was very impressed. We loved it here because it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere but surrounded by mountains.

Great cosy cottage with everything you need. Very clean and very well furnished - the cooker and the coffee machine are particularly great! Friendly responsive host, nothing but positive things to say. Only small downside is the stone floors can get a little cold, but there are several heaters and a fireplace to remedy. Absolutely recommend!

It was lovely stay at John's Bryn Elltyd eco house. Property was at the excellent location with picturesque surroundings. View of the mountain was mind blowing. I would highly recommend the property if you want to spend quiet time along with your loved ones, amidst nature.

What a wonderful place to stay, the views from the conservatory are spectacular and a great place to sit and watch the birds. It is very rural so a car is a must, the only places on site are the water gardens and the dutch pancake house. You are only 10 minutes from Conwy and close to major supermarkets. The property was immaculate, the key coded door is a good idea and saved having to worry about keys. The downstairs bedroom had a lovely ensuite shower room and one of the upstairs rooms had an ensuite bathroom. The second upstairs bedroom has a very low doorway so really only suitable for children, although care would need to be taken on the quite steep stairs. The only access to the bathroom from this bedroom would be through the twin. Well stocked kitchen, the only items missing were tongs and a serving spoon (the only one is a slotted one) and the scissors were quite blunt. Mike very responsive when we reported a leak in the shower room. It was solved quickly.

We had such an amazing stay for our first time in Wales. The cottage was lovely and we made friends with the sheep really fast. Also a great place to go with kids they can play outside and they loved the animals 😄. Clare is a great host and we're already making plans to return and see more of beautiful Snowdonia 🫶🏻. Nothing to fault, absolutely beautiful home in a great place. Large space and was able to host 4 adults and 3 dogs with ease. The property is based on a steep hill which provides great views. A point to note is that there is limited local amenities and the local pub doesn’t accept dogs or prams. We cannot wait to come back and book again to stay at The Old Rectory!
