'Right on the beach' is exactly accurate - secluded and private enough behind some trees/shade with direct access to the sand and sea, but just down a bit from the hustle and bustle of Muri's denser part, so a perfect spot for swimming, lounging, walking or getting to amenities, but away from the noise and foot traffic. The place is basic with enough of what is needed to self-cater and it's airy enough without AC (fans are efficient). Value for money!

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb. Airport pick up arranged, lovely treats in the fridge, 6 TV Chanel’s, outdoor seating, comfortable bed and a well equipped bathroom. We had a great coffee at Tavake just up the road, excellent Chinese and Bread at the pop up almost over the road and there are bike and car hire companies within 50 metres. My advise get a scooter and take every road to can, also include meals at Avatea Cafe (a must) and Blue Lagoon. Thanks team Paparei we could not have asked for more.

We had a rocky start due to a late arrival and phone issues... when a lovely local helped me hotspot my phone so I could let Lotu know we were lost she responded immediately that she was coming to get us. What a lovely, helpful, welcoming lady, any worries I had vanished immediately and she was always quick to help us anytime we had a question or needed support. The location was absolutely idyllic! Lots of space for everyone inside, the beds were super comfortable, lovely big deck to relax outdoors, comfy sun loungers, we watched whales every day from our backyard, walked on the beach, swam, and found some great spots for snorkeling just 10minutes walk along the beach. There were great restaurants and bars within walking distance and some really interesting shops and stalls. We loved our holiday and would absolutely stay there again!!

Mathilda is kind and helpfull, she found us a lagoon tour on Sunday and arranged us the hire of bikes ( normal and electric) The bungalow correspond to the description Bike, scooter or a car are needed to visit the island , as the accommodation is 11 km from the airport. We had a fabulous stay here. We were welcomed at the airport by Nootoa’s Dad (lovely Man) both he and his wife Annie were so friendly. The gardens around are beautiful with Rajello doing a great job of making things look beautiful. We saw whales from the deck everyday. Beluga (a renowned coffee shop) just down the road as are many great restaurants and bars. There is everything you need here and if anything is missing, a quick chat with Annie or Terry will solve it. Nootoa is a great communicator. We appreciated that he even supported us my accomodating us for a late checkout as our flights were late at night. The most relaxing holiday ever..we will go back.

If staying less than a minutes walk from the most beautiful beach and lagoon is your idea of perfect holiday this is the place. Add in spotless accommodation with fantastic air conditioning just over the road from stunning gardens this is a dream holiday spot. We loved Natura beach bungalows, 2 spacious bedrooms with big decks made it perfect for our family. Snorkeling a highlight and walking to Charlies, a very popular restaurant. I’ll be back!

Teiaraia is an entertaining and generous host and the little house on the waterfront is perfect for its closeness to the shops and restaurants of the main township on Aitutaki. It is part of a family business that includes a cafe where delicious burgers are served. one of the things we really enjoyed was the feeling that we were staying somewhere that allowed us to get a feel for real life on Aitutaki. there are some beautiful resorts and great places to eat (Tavake Cafe and Avatea strongly recommended) but it is also a place where people live normal daily lives. we enjoyed the tiny insights onto those lives in this remote and breathtakingly beautiful and relaxing place. we very much appreciated that Teiaraia is willing to rent a car and bicycle and that airport pickup and drop-off is part of the deal. Meitaki maata.

This bungalow is in a beautiful location with an excellent lagoon aspect.The hosts are unbelievable and give service a new meaning. As an example, my wife had an issue with the mattress and we mentioned it to Vaea to see if perhaps she had a possible solution. We never expected her to source a new mattress on this small island, but that is exactly what she did and that very night, my wife had a great nights sleep. Thank you, thank you, thank you Vaea for going truly above and beyond in your response to this issue. Additionally, please take the opportunity to book a private lagoon / snorkeling cruise with her husband Marokii. You will not be disappointed by his service, insights and commentary along the way. They both made our visit to Aitutaki a most memorable experience! Cheers

Prime snorkeling location right on the beach! With a homely bach like feel. Had everything we needed, along with some friendly local dogs & Cats...all part of the experience. This is not a resort, so if your after the finer things might not be for you, but the space you get and location we found to be very good value, and extremely greatfull to of had the opportunity. Tuaine was fantastic with communication, seamlessly arranging airport pickup and transfer. With an awesome suport team that poped in checking if any maintenance or servicing was required for a comfortable stay half way through our week. An overall memorable stay, can absolutely only recommend, and wouldn't hesitate to book again.

Our stay was amazing and could not have been better! The bungalow is incredibly cute, and the view is breathtaking. From the balcony, you have a view of the turquoise sea and the small islands near Aitutaki. The room was clean, and Pira was extremely helpful. She arranged a scooter for us right after our arrival, booked our lagoon cruise, and provided us with fresh fruit and coconuts. The communication was always quick and super easy. We would definitely come back to Pira's anytime and wholeheartedly recommend this accommodation.

Beautiful home with a beautiful view. The property was very modern and clean with all amenities. We had a great time. Brooke was very responsive and helpful to any issues we had. It was a very intimate and private stay.

A recommander sans hésitation Marcel et Cathy sont des hôtes de premier ordre. Ils sont d’une très grande gentillesse, respectueux et très amicale. Ils sont venus nous chercher à l'aéroport pour que nous n'ayons pas à chercher un taxi et ils nous ont également fait une surprise le jour de notre départ à l'aéroport, ce qui nous a touchés. Ils nous ont également fait visiter l'île en découvrant des endroits sympas pour entrer en contact avec la culture locale. Toujours là pour aider et toujours prompt à répondre. Le logement est idéal pour un couple. Très privé, dans une belle région entourée d'une nature magnifique. Cuisine bien équipée avec bidon d’eau potable. Serviettes de plages, bonne connection wifi et pas loin des meilleures spots de Plongée en apnée pour voir les tortues. A 5 mins d’un supermarché en voiture. Nous avons passé un séjour inoubliable et nous reviendrons certainement pour un deuxième séjour. Merci beaucoup pour ce bon moment Meitaki ma'ata

Reihana is the perfect vacation cottage. Located on beautiful Muri Lagoon, steps away from amazing snorkeling with turtles and more fish than you can imagine. Only a very short walk to the famous Muri night market and many other places to eat. The house has a beautifully kept yard and is the perfect size for a cozy two person getaway. Free Wi-Fi is available at the museum just down the road during business hours. Emmy is a responsive and welcoming host. I cannot say enough about this place. We can’t wait to return!

Vaea was so thorough and helpful, from the start. We appreciated her reliable response time and willingness to give us information and assistance, almost instinctively. She greeted us and provided fruit and coffee, milk, making us feel right at home. Having the scooters available for rent was a reassuring option before arriving to Aitutaki and their provisions were so ideal. Kayaking in the lagoon was great too! Wanted to stay even longer. We appreciate Vaea's warm welcome and meeting her and Kii personalized our trip. Thank you for the wonderful stay!

As it was my partners first time to Aitutaki, Eileen’s residence allowed that island-feel vibe where we were able to absorb the island at our own pace. We weren’t rushed for room service or the breakfast buffet or with family arrangements. No. We soaked Aitutaki slowly but surely. It’s nicely surrounded by nature which allows some privacy from the busy road but not too far to hop to the shop. We made friends with Chad (the goat) and enjoyed making memories. Thank you Eileen for your warm hospitality - will definitely be returning back to you for future Aitutaki plans :)
