The place is huge lots of room wasn’t able to use the theater needed and android all we had was iPhones and still wasn’t able to use it. But overall was amazing

If you are looking for a private location for your event this is the perfect place. The venue is on 62 acres with a house and pool and an event center. It was the perfect location to hold our event.    The venue was just as described and more beautiful than we could ever have hoped for.  The host was gracious, flexible, and quick to respond to questions.   

It was lovely overall just a few things that weren’t great. The address on the listing isn’t accurate, it says Gainesville but it’s really Collinsville. I had to message the actual host via text to get the correct address. The back door was wide open when we got there so that made us a little uneasy for the first hour or so, but nothing seemed amiss in the house. Overall, great place to stay for a large number of people!

Beautiful place to stay...very nice, clean and relaxing! The host made us feel welcome and was very helpful for giving ideas in the area and responsive to any questions we had before and during our stay. We hope to be able to enjoy another getaway there in the future!

We were in the area for a wedding. It was close to our venue and we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect place to lay our head after a busy wedding day! We didn’t get a chance to go into the home until after the wedding at close to 11pm and then checked out at 10am the next morning. So we didn’t really use anything but the beds. But it was nice to be super convenient to venue.

This has been by far the best place I’ve stayed. The kitchen was so well stocked it made it easy to accommodate all of our meals. The beds are on par with our bed at home. Loved having an extra large dining table. It was perfect for meals and games. The deck was well appointed and a comfy place to sip a hot drink and watch the sunrise. We are already looking at future dates to stay at this beautiful place by the lake.

Comfortable and welcoming! This home was perfect for our two night get-away. I read a lot of the reviews about how it needs work and such. And yes, it needs some work. But things are functional, it was VERY clean, and we didn’t want for anything we needed. It’s in an older, well-established neighborhood, right off of I-35. I would absolutely stay here again. The hosts were responsive and check-in/out was a breeze.

If you’re going to play at Winstar, this is a great selection. Sleeps up to 8 people at only a fraction of the cost compared to Winstar. It’s 1 mile from the Casino with a very easy, safe drive to and from. You can see Winstar from the front yard. The house was a little country house with the closest neighbor being 400 yards or more away. Everything was clean and she was very responsive. No issues with this place. Will stay again.

We had a great time at Selyer House. Host was friendly, responsive and helpful. Because of weather, we didn't get to utilize the backyard and patio, which looked great and add even more value to a stay at this location.

Great place to stay, the house was extremely clean and comfortable. Enjoyed the outdoor patio after touring downtown Gainesville and nearby wineries. WOW, the house was well stocked with treats and was appreciated. Thanks for a great stay!!

A beautiful home and friendly hosts! They were very polite and responsive to any and all questions I had. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this stay to anyone.

This is my third time staying here. My friend and I really enjoyed the layout because the bedrooms are at opposite ends of the house, each with a bathroom giving us each privacy. The beds are very comfortable.

we fit right into the house, easy in and easy out made our trip so less stressful. will go back.

Had a great stay, very close to Winstar casino. Would definitely go back.
