We enjoyed our stay here in cooks hill. Fabulous location. Walking distance to everything we needed. The kitchen was great to cook a nice meal. We would book again for sure!

Moira’s apartment was a fabulous spot to spend Christmas - it was clean and well stocked and she had gone the extra mile with Christmas decorations and even a couple of gifts under the tree! Her communication was excellent and I would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone needing a spot to stay in Newcastle. Thanks Moira!

We had a great short stay. Incredible view from this cosy and clean apartment. Love this part of the city and walked to great food and swam in the ocean across the road. Lots of thoughtful touches from the hosts who were very accommodating and a pleasure to deal with.

We had a wonderful stay at Bianca’s. The location was perfect, easily walkable to cafés, restaurants, harbour walk, beach, lighthouse, etc. The apartment was very well supplied with dishes and appliances. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony, having a drink, and listening to and watching the birds at dusk. We had a kookaburra that sat each evening on a branch right by the balcony. We would definitely stay again.

The apartment was impeccably clean and well laid out. Every room was tidy, the kitchen was well stocked with everything needed, the lounge room was comfortable with easy access to the TV channels and streaming services, the bed was comfortable and the towels provided were soft and smelt wonderful. The apartment is well-located with great views of the beach and ocean. Entry and exit instructions were clear and easy to follow.

Nicole's place was lovely to stay in, we wished we could have been there for more than one night. There was a bit of noise from nearby construction and the port but those are uncontrollable (as was the early morning bin truck!) Nicole's instructions for check in were very clear and the place was pristine. Important to note it is only accessible via stairs, the internal stairs also have no railing and the property is positioned on a very steep street so may be physically challenging for some.

What a lovely place! I couldn't recommend this stay more. It was such a relaxing weekend, and we will definitely be back. The hosts were incredibly friendly and quick to respond, the house was beautifully styled and cozy.

Chris's place is VERY spacious ! It's very nice, homey and comfortable. We enjoyed the dinner on the balcony - listening the ocean and birds, so nice and relaxing! There is lots to do in the area with some amazing spots walking distance like Birubi Beach (best sunset) and Boat Harbour and some other wonderful destinations short drive away. Anna Bay that is just the walking distance away has quite few lovely restaurant options - we reccomend Romanza pizzeria. It's duplex house, but didn't feel like it at all. Very quiet and private :) Chris was very friendly and responsive and made us feel very welcome through his messages. Excellent choice for travellers with dogs too as no carpeted floors and therefore very easy to maintain cleanliness. There is also little yard out the front, but with so many wonderful walks around, you dogs won't even need the yard! Can't wait to be back for the whal seaspn as I'm sure they can be spotted without even leaving the house. 5* :)

We had a wonderful stay! Ola and Barn truly thought of every detail, making our experience so much more enjoyable. The kids’ room was a highlight—complete with a toy box full of hours of entertainment! We even had beautiful Christmas decorations throughout the house that made the holiday extra special. It felt like they went above and beyond to create a welcoming, thoughtful space for our entire family. The kitchen was stocked with everything we could possibly need, from all sorts of plates and dishes for our antipasto platter to even the tiniest things you might forget—like a screwdriver! We were so grateful for that, especially when we realized we needed it to add batteries to the kids’ Christmas presents. The little touches made all the difference, and it felt like the hosts were truly invested in ensuring we had a perfect stay. We can’t wait to return and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, thoughtful, and well-equipped getaway! Thank you Ola & Barn!

We had such a pleasant stay at Paddles. Kez and Kev were amazing hosts, they were extremely responsive, gave very clear instructions, check in was super easy and it’s exactly what we hoped for. We fished out the back the entire time we stayed here and caught so many fish, bream, yakka and flathead. It was such a peaceful time waking up to views of the water. The neighbours were friendly and said hello, Kez and Kev were lovely with their responses and super helpful. We will definitely, without a doubt be back to stay at Paddles. We absolutely loved it. 10/10

Our stay was great, the location is perfect, close to the park, short drive to main restaurants, shops and cafes. Laura was friendly and helpful.
