This little piece of paradise made for a great relaxing spot in the forest! The house is great and fully equipped for a comfortable stay (the beds were amazing)! The view from the house is spectacular! We loved the tea house nearby within walking distance. Tony was amazing to communicate with.

This house was absolutely stunning, and completely set up for sharing time with friends outside by the pool, with bar fridge, huge deck, massive kitchen and open lounge. The house is even bigger than the pictures alluded to. Literally a minute walk from the beach, and a short drive to the centre of kingscliff. Sadly it rained for our entire stay, but it didnt matter because it was fully undercover and we spent our time in the heated spa. The hosts were very helpful and happy to help with anything. It was such a luxury and pleasure to share this space with my friends and celebrate my birthday and engagement. Will definitely consider this place for future getaways!

So peaceful ! Rained overnight and the rain on the roof sounded amazing. Could easily stay a week and escape from the world :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Lisa‘s beautiful home. The house itself is styled beautifully with lots of attention to detail. We stayed as a group of friends, but would be perfect for families too! Lisa was very quick to respond, flexible and easy to deal with.

As cyclone Alfred was approaching, Deidre had food , torches , safety lights ready for use if needed . Deidre & Des were amazing hosts who made us welcome , yet allowed us privacy . They went above & beyond in every aspect . Can’t wait to return .

We stayed at Beau’s place for little over a week. The house was clean and very spacious and comfortable - accommodating all of our group in separate areas with their own bathrooms. Beau was easy to communicate with, friendly and quick to respond. Very nice stay!

Beautiful and peaceful location with an incredible view. Paul’s home is very well stocked and has everything you need for your stay. The large kitchen makes it easy to cook up a feast for your big groups. Bedrooms and amenities were comfortable (great to have a dog friendly option). Thank you for hosting us!

Awesome stay here and very central walking distance from beach and the shops. Was a bit much to charge $50 for an early check in but was great communication and simple instructions. Place was safe and homely.

very clean and fresh inside out. close to everything but in a quite street with all the amenities you need. kids loved going to budds beach which is 50meters away! absolutely worth it. 5 stars.

The Eco Retreat was amazing. It was the perfect little escape for a relaxing weekend. The view out to ‘The Cloud Catcher’ was awesome and you could just sit on the balcony with nothing but nature in view and in the ears. The pool and its surrounding area were also top notch. All round just a great place for slow pace and peace n quiet. Didn’t really want to leave to be honest. Graham was also great, responsive, attentive and very easy going. Great just to sit with and have a chat. Will definitely be back when in need of a break from the hussle.

Good experience and private place

We had a lovely stay. Very much enjoyed the tranquility and stunning view that is even better in real life. Hosts very friendly. The place was pristine and of high quality. Keep in mind only kitchen sink aside from bathroom is outside near spa. Keep lights low at night in warmer months otherwise so many flying bugs take over outdoors 😅 stunning spot and hope to stay again.

Took my partner here for a night away. 100% the greatest accomodation I’ve ever stayed at. Graham the host was extremely accommodating and was very proactive on making this the best possible stay he could. We are already planning on returning for our anniversary.

Had a good and peaceful getaway. The cabin was clean and beautifully decorated. The sound of the lake behind the cabin was very peaceful. Will definitely come back💜.

Very great place to stay, peaceful and great views of the Gold Coast. Walking distance to the Cauldron Gin distillery which has a great vibe. Very good stay and welcoming hosts.

mark and Linda's place was very cosy and private was what we were looking for. exactly what we needed for our anniversary. was relaxing with the spa and spacious with the kitchen being able to cook meals. mark and Linda were very helpful with all the questions I had. thanks for a great stay

James' place was amazing, it was a great little getaway, kids loved the horse Sam and the cows Billy and moose. the hot tub was perfect and the view and setting when sitting in it was perfect, would highly recommended this to anyone wanting to get away for a cozy night/weekend away

We had the most relaxing, peaceful weekend for a birthday celebration. The place was pristine, wonderfully furnished and had everything you need for a country reset from the city. Catherine was very responsive, and a great host! The cows and horses loved a pat and were super friendly. We can’t wait for our next stay, and couldn’t recommend enough.

Jess and John were incredibly welcoming and friendly. The room was beautiful, the bed was incredibly comfortable, and all of the amenities were amazing. The included snacks, drinks and breakfast were an amazing touch, and the area was so peaceful and beautiful. Based on the photos I did think the cabin itself would be slightly more private or further away from the communal areas, but the landscaping and gardens do still allow for privacy. Overall, everything was lovely and I would definitely recommend staying with Jess and John :)

My husband and I took a staycation here for 2 nights and it was beautiful. We felt right at home and the home had so many small details that we loved! The outdoor bath and view was stunning and such a nice treat. We did a late checkin and unfortunately had a miscommunication with the gate code but it was very quickly resolved and Garth even brought us coffees in the morning for the inconvenience! We will definitely be back to stay here again!
