The place is nicely located amidst tea garden. You can get multiple views from the property valley, multiple mountain ranges and last but not the least tea garden. The location is little far from the city and don’t have options of food delivery services like Zomato Swiggy. But this can’t take away the beauty and peace.

I had an incredible stay at Thakur Cottage! The property offers a mesmerizing view that is truly a treat for the eyes, making every moment special. Whether it's sunrise or sunset, the scenery is absolutely stunning(specifically sunrise) One of the highlights of our stay was the amazing cooks at the cottage. They not only prepared delicious meals but were also incredibly helpful and accommodating. Their warm hospitality made us feel right at home. If you’re looking for a peaceful retreat with great food and unbeatable views, Thakur Cottage is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

You really only need to bring your personal belongings, as everything else has been taken care of. It’s a wonderful home away from home, and we can’t wait to visit again! Absolutely wonderful stay! Tucked away in a secluded spot, the house offers breathtaking views. Finding the place was a breeze, and check-in was seamless thanks to the attentive host and manager who ensured everything went smoothly. Throughout our stay, they remained in constant communication, ensuring our comfort and satisfaction. One highlight of our stay was opting for the in-house meal options - we wholeheartedly recommend to future guests. Every dish we requested was expertly prepared, and the flavors were simply scrumptious. And let's not forget the barbeque and bonfire experience was an absolute must! A special mention goes to Kumar, the main caretaker, whose warmth and hospitality made us feel right at home. He went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, especially those of our child, never hesitating to fulfill even the smallest requests. I cannot recommend this stay enough, especially for families seeking a perfect getaway.

Hari's place in Ooty felt like a mini paradise and the perfect getaway. He was highly communicative, providing us with a detailed guide on things to do and must-visit restaurants, which proved incredibly useful. My friends from California and Mumbai absolutely adored this charming spot. The well-equipped kitchen made it easy for us to prepare delicious meals, and the serene garden was a peaceful retreat for meditation, leisurely strolls, and soaking up the sunshine. The thoughtfully chosen furniture and the home's old-world charm added to the overall experience. We will definitely be returning to this delightful haven in Ooty. amazing property amazing host and most helpful helper there, we felt right at home and it has spectacular views. we wanted a place quiet and peaceful and this was pitch perfect! PS: it's a bit on the outskirts so please be mindful of that.

Even though the listing says entire cottage, this actually was an bedroom with attached bath from the main property (where the host is staying) that has a door attached between the two (was locked though). That was slightly disappointing. The balcony/sit-out has the sofa and a small dining table which is where the entrance is. Regardless, enjoyed the stay and the food prepared by the staff was good.

Tip for future guests: Try ordering food before 5 PM. The meals are prepared fresh, and even the ingredients used are of premium quality.
