The apartment was absolutely perfect! The place was spotless and had everything we needed. Ideal location for exploring Bowness and using as a base for walking in the surrounding hills. Will definitely be recommending this place

Lovely, cosy holiday apartment with comfortable beds, great bed linen and workable cooking facilities. In excellent location, 4 minutes from the railway and bus station and very close to all of the shops and restaurants in the town.

Excellent and cosy stay in a comfortable basement flat. Very quiet setting with lovely views from the door and a beautiful quiet garden to utilise. Walking distance to Grasmere and onto the hills. Everything of good quality in the flat and easy to access and park. Highly recommended

Irina and Chris' place is very comfortable and the location is perfect for a trip to the Lake District - we came by bike and were able to find an easy spot to lock up nearby. great train and bus links, plus some lovely bars and cafés within a few minutes walk. The oven is a bit confusing, but otherwise the kitchen was really well equipped. Irina was really helpful and quick to respond to questions and requests.

Michael's apartment is absolutely beautiful, very cosy and comfortable. It is equipped with everything you need for the perfect stay. It was spotlessly clean, comfortable bed, great shower and very peaceful. It is in a great location, walkable to Bowness and it was the perfect base to explore the Lakes, we will definitely book again.

Another great stay at Angela's place. Everything we need for us and our little dog to have a fabulous walking weekend in the lakes. We will defiantly be returning and have recommended to our friends x thank you Angela for letting us stay at such short notice.

Fabulous apartment in a brilliant spot in central Keswick. Can’t be beaten in terms of location and the apartment itself is perfect. 2 generous sized en suites rooms, brilliantly provisioned kitchen and comfortable and stylish lounge.

Just a beautiful place to stay. Mark has been busy chipping away at restoring this beautiful mill. It is tastefully and thoughtfully decorated, and the perfect starting spot to walk some Wainwrights (Great Mell Fell, Garbarrow and Little Mell Fell). The bed was so comfy and the coffee machine was an added bonus on a morning too. Only a 15 min drive or so from Penrith but has the ‘out in the sticks’ feeling. Mark is a lovely host - thank you so much!

Sue was extremely helpful and friendly, meeting us out front, showing us around, leaving starter groceries, a nice bottle of wine and fresh flowers, and making great recommendations. There was a nice pub and grocery store just a 2 minute walk away. We all slept well in this quiet neighborhood and woke up to its beautiful surroundings. The kitchen was lovely to cook in and everything was super clean. We would love to stay here again.

Lovely clean, spacious flat; great location and helpful host. Parking space is small and slightly awkward- we drive a large car and choose to park elsewhere.

Fantastic weekend stay......the flat is accurately described and shown in the photos. Communication was excellent from the moment we booked. Comfy beds, crisp linen and fluffy towels. We ate in and the kitchen had everything we needed. Log burner very welcome as it was typical February weather in the Lakes! Pub at Hill Top very cosy and welcoming. Queen's Head at Hawshead too. Beautifully located bucolic retreat in the heart of South Lakes. Boho - Cottage Core interior with everything needed for short and long stay alike. Super cosy. The hut is surrounded by wonderful countryside, birdsong and clucking hens. Home baked brownies and shortbread with wine and fresh eggs were lovely touches. The host is super friendly and proactive. Couldn't recommend it more!

This is the third time of staying here and as ever it doesn’t disappoint. Very comfortable, great location, and a friendly host. Highly recommended

Thurnham hall is a great place to stay!

We loved our stay. The apartment was not like the photos on the listing but it was nice nonetheless. Quiet, easy access to Lancaster, helpful staff, top facilities - we highly recommend the spa. Would like to stay again.

Colin contacted us prior to our stay to give us accurate details of where to go, and what to do. He gave us his contact number incase there was any issues, and told us to contact him anytime. His apartment was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the photos do not do it justice.. and the views from the balcony were 100%. The location was perfect for what we was looking for. We would highly recommend ,and definitely stay there again.😊

Second visit to Howe Tarn as it’s such a good location for us and has everything we need. The view out of the back is beautiful and is such a peaceful place to relax with great walks near by. Will be returning and would definitely recommend to others.

I had a lovely stay here for two nights whilst working away. Beautiful scenery lovely and quiet. Julie was very quick and responsive when I was looking for something. If I am ever lucky enough to revisit the area I would definitely stay again.

Fantastic apartment for a weekend stay. Extremely comfy bed and well stocked kitchenette. Rebecca was great with her communication and check in was quick and easy. The hotel facilities included in our stay were great, with a pool (free pool towels available), sauna, bar/restaurant and kids games room. Lovely grounds, quiet and peaceful. Easy access to Keswick. Would definitely recommend to anyone wishing for a quiet, peaceful stay clowe to other towns and attractions.

Our two-night stay at Whitbarrow Village was absolutely fantastic! The apartment was spotless, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything we needed. Plus, the lovely view across the fields made it even more special. The location is stunning, with some of the most beautiful lakes just a 15-minute drive away. The complex itself is also excellent, featuring a great bar and restaurant, a swimming pool, a cinema, a kids' play area, a well-maintained garden, and an EV charging point. The apartment's amenities were perfect for a self-catering stay, and the balcony offered a lovely spot to relax and enjoy the view when the weather allowed. We visited with our two-year-old, who absolutely loved it too! I highly recommend this place for couples or young families, and Raluca was a fantastic host. We can’t wait to return!
