We had a wonderful few days in Una’s place. Location was second to none….everything you need around the corner. House was cosy , clean and comfortable. Would happily go again.

This place is a gem. A very unique layout with a personable host! We loved chatting with Maureen about the history of the building and how it all came together. Really a lovely spot! (The bathtub is magnificent.)

I cannot recommend The Old Milking Stall (Tim and Barbara) enough!! I stayed there with my family for 4 days and it was more than we could imagine! Tim and Barbara themselves are so welcoming and helpful, they couldn’t be any nicer if they tried! They provide a thoughtful welcome hamper! And for their home it is gorgeous! So beautiful from the garden to the reading nook, it’s perfect for all! Their pet dogs being your friend is a bonus! If you need any help they are willing to do what they can from taxi advice to food recommendations! If you need a place to stay in Skibbereen, The Old Milking Stall is definitely the place to stay! The cottage was freshly renovated with a beautiful kitchen, bathroom, and windows. The garden, yard and outdoor furniture were very nice. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The host communicated well and was very responsive. The setting was very quiet and peaceful. We travel a lot and this was home was one of oour favorites.

The house has beautiful views and is alot more spacious than you would think from outside. Located 2 min walk to the bars & Restaurants. Denise was very responsive and allowed us an early check in would was great after a long drive. Highly recommended and hopefully back again.

Jeff's place was great, in a beautiful location. He was an attentive and responsive host and made our time in Cork so easy! Would totally stay here again.

We booked Miriam's place for a wedding in Aherlow House Hotel and it was absolutely perfect! Our bridesmaids stayed in the house and my wife got ready for our wedding there! The views were beautiful and Miriam allowed us to check in early so that my wife would have plenty of time to get ready. it made our day so much less stressful! thank you so much!

We stayed at Rory's for two weeks with our pets. The flat was just perfect. We were blessed with fantastic weather during our stay, so the sunroom at the front was absolutely beautiful to look out from. The flat had everything we could possibly need and Rory was a very responsive host. The nearby marsh loop walk was spectacular. Would definitely recommend staying at Rory's.

Great location and comfortable place to stay. John was a great communicator.

We stayed at Old Scragg Farm for 4 days and fell absolutely in love with the place. The farm and the area are super nice, there's a small town nearby and it's a great starting point for all the places to go in West Ireland. Andrew was super friendly and gave us a lot of tips on what to do. The cottage was really cute, everything was clean and we enjoyed our stay a lot. We'll be coming back for some more exploring of the area! Thanks for having us Andrew!

Had a wonderful stay at Pearse’s lovely home! The location was great, about a 5-10 min walk to multiple bus stops, and the neighborhood was nice and quiet. Grocery stores were located very close by as well as a beautiful park. The home was clean, open & bright, and very inviting! Beds were comfortable, and the kitchen was perfect for my needs. Pearse was responsive and very welcoming, super helpful with any questions I had during my stay and even left a gift at my door!! As other reviews have said, the shower is a little tricky for taller people (I am 180 cm) but I was prepared for this and didn’t have too difficult of a time. Only con is I was a little nervous with the large window in the bathroom, as I couldn’t tell if neighbors could see inside. Instructions were clear for heating and shower pump. Overall I had a great stay and would 100% recommend!

Super schöne Unterkunft, absolut zu empfehlen. Richtig schön eingerichtet mit hochwertigen Möbeln und alles super sauber und liebevoll eingerichtet. Man merkt es wurden auf Kleinigkeiten geachtet. Gastgeberin Anne ist super nett und freundlich. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We traveled to West Cork from Dublin to enjoy the American Thanksgiving weekend with extended family. The house was perfect for our visit with a large gathering space and all the amenities you could want. West Cork is gorgeous and the house fit in with the surroundings with beautiful sun rises, sun sets and plenty of rainbows. Lots of walking trails right out the door. The house was very clean and plenty of space and beds for the 7 of us. Appliances were easy to understand. We particularly enjoyed the new hot tub after our cold sea swim. Brian was incredibly helpful and responsive, making that part of the process a breeze. A perfect house for our family gathering! We'll definitely do it again.

Beautiful view of the sea and very spacious house. Dave was extremely responsive and made us feel right at home. Location also very close to a grocery store, coffee, food, etc.

We have just spent a marvellous week at Grainne's holiday home. It is indeed a magical place with beautiful sea views and within walking distance of Baltimore village/harbour. So much to explore around this historical area and beyond. Did day trips to Sherkin Island and Garnish Island (which is about an hours drive away), a hike to the iconic Beacon is a must. Great restaurants and a small local pub nearby all serving brilliant seafood and the freshest fish. The house had everything we needed, very well equipped kitchen. Lovely comfy beds and lounge furniture for relaxing and reading or just admiring the view! Best of all was that there was no television...fantastic to get away from the outside world for a while, give the head some peace. Cant wait to revisit West Cork again. Thank you Grainne for all the great local information and suggestions and for being so responsive and friendly.

We had such a fabulous weekend at Pac’s Cottage. The house was absolutely stunning, super clean and had everything we needed. The hot tub was amazing to soak in while watching the sunset! Location was a perfect base to explore West Cork. Highly recommend!

This place is a must it is absolutely beautiful and so worth the cost and our Host Robert was incredible checking in all the time if we were still happy and needed anything plus on arrival there was the most beautiful and practical gift basket plus the places fresh water and milk in fridge and speciality cheeses for us along with fresh flowers in kitchen and dining area and what was most appreciated was the fact they have placed a beautiful Christmas Tree to place us in the perfect Christmas spirit and make us feel at home thank YOU

This house was perfect. All the modern amenities with lots of room inside on a large, beautiful, secluded property. Watching the cows and sheep (and cute lambs) roam the area are a nice change of pace for anyone coming from a big city. Homeowner was very responsive and easy to work with. We'd love to come back to this location someday.

This is a love song to Atherlow Castle. Our family of 6(all adults) stayed for a week and didn’t want to leave. We truly felt at home. There’s plenty of space for everyone to have their privacy in the castle but there was still such a comfortable feeling. The grounds are lovely, with the nicest looking herd of cows I’ve ever seen peacefully grazing on impossibly green grass. Freda and Declan were quintessential hosts! Friendly and unobtrusive with adorable bouncy dogs. The area, as described by a local tea shop owner we struck up a conversation with, is real Ireland not tourist Ireland. All of the major sites are within driving distance but the local area has hidden gems. We have stayed in wonderful Airbnbs all over the world but Atherlow Castle won my heart.

An elegant house in a truly beautiful location. Our whole family (toddlers to grandparents) thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Lough Hyne. Tim, the property manager, could not have been more helpful and responsive to any requests. Missing it already and definitely would stay there again another year!
