I loved staying at Susan and Amit's place. It's well located for all the Old Town has to offer, yet a little back from the action of the Grassmarket, so surprisingly quiet (being there in Winter may have helped). The apartment is warm and cosy, has a bathtub and comfy bed - oh, and a view of the castle, stunning both day and night. The best thing about their place is Susan and Amit themselves, they couldn't do enough to ensure my stay was comfortable, even dropping off some yummy baked goods! I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here.

Six of us stayed at Paul's place over the February half term & there was plenty of space for all of us without feeling cramped. The accommodation was a good size. Every room had plenty of space. The beds were comfortable and the linen was fresh and clean. The street the accommodation was on was very quiet & everyone slept well. This is accommodation close to the city centre so don't expect to be surrounded by beautiful scenery. The location is very handy as you are within walking distance to Edinburgh. We were a party ranging from 13 yrs up to 80 yrs so the walk would take us anywhere between 15 to 25 minutes to walk to the Old Town, depending on who was walking. Walking is essential to go into Edinburgh. There are clean air charges on certain cars, on street parking and car parks in the centre are extremely expensive. Paul's place comes with a parking space which is worth it's wait in gold & will save you money to spend on the fun stuff instead. Comfort and location are ideal.

We really enjoyed staying at Dawn’s flat. The location was perfect for us. Quiet but close to Stockbridge and a lovely walk into central Edinburgh. The flat has everything you need for a short break. It’s clean and the bed is v comfortable.

Wir hatten eine super schöne Zeit. Alles war gut zu erreichen. Das Apartment ist super ausgestattet, gepflegt und man fühlt sich wie zu Hause. Checkin mit David sehr unkompliziert, Gastgeber ist immer freundlich und antwortet schnell. Weiter so :)

Joanna was so friendly and accommodating from the start. Able to sort an early check in so we could get to Murrayfield within plenty of time. Responsive to communications and even facetimed us during our stay to help with a minor issue (which was sorted). Very clean apartment, plenty of space in all rooms. More than enough towels. Easy to use heating if needed. Lovely touch leaving milk, cereal and tea/coffee/nespresso pods. Joanna also happy to provide 2nd set of keys as we were 2 couples staying. Parking secure and easy to find/access and get to apartment. Loads of artisan coffee shops around and easy to either walk or tram to centre and felt safe walking to tram stop when dark. Overall, such a lovely place with a great host, nothing was too much trouble and we will be staying here whenever we are up.

My friend and I had an amazing stay at Veronique’s place! Everything was perfect - smooth check in, spotless and beautifully decorated space. The location was ideal, close to all the main attractions yet peaceful. Communication was excellent, and every detail made us feel right at home. We’d definitely stay again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh. Thanks again Veronique for a fantastic experience!

Lynne’s place in Edinburgh is the perfect spot to stay to explore the city. It’s one of the rare occasions where the place is even better than the photos! It was so nice knowing we had such a comfortable, and well thought out place to retreat to at the end of each night. We’d recommend Lynnes place to everyone looking for accommodation in Edinburgh!

El apartamento es tal cual se describe en las fotos, amplio y muy limpio. Está un poco alejado del centro, pero con bus (1,60) o uber (unas 13 libras el trayecto) se llega en 20 minutos. El anfitrión estuvo muy pendiente en todo momento y nos facilitó la entrada flexible.

Loved this spot!! Super cozy and chill, the large living room was perfect. We did forget about the 4 floors of stairs we needed to take up, and we heard some late night parties going home pretty clearly through the window facing the street. Overall a really great stay!

Fiona was an incredible host, we had an issue leaving something in the house once we’d checked out… Fiona answered the message within a minute and helped to sort the situation with ease. The house is lovely and so much better than the pictures ! A beautiful place and we will be returning !

We had the most amazing stay in apartment no. 3. The flat itself and the surroundings are just stunning, with so much to do right on your doorstep. The host was easy to communicate with and even accommodated a last minute request we had, which we were very grateful for. We will absolutely be staying again.

Really enjoyed our time in Edinburgh in this location. A 25 min walk from Waverley through New Town to get there or a short taxi ride. We planned to go to the bakery opposite, which at the time wasn’t open on Monday or Tuesday and were amazed by a long queue on Wednesday and Thursday mornings before it had even opened. Stockbridge is only a few mins away with some great bars and restaurants and M&S Food and Sainsburys Local if you can’t find what you need in the local store. We caught the bus to Leith which was really easy with the bus stop very near by. The flat was cosy and easy to find and as described.

We had an absolute amazing time in Paul's place!! The view was incredible. Paul was extremely friendly and responsive. I highly recommend this place.

Can’t wait to stay here again! Everything about it was perfect, went above and beyond with the party package I added on extra, the whole apartment was stunning, bed was super comfortable and hot tub stayed the perfect temperature the whole night! Can’t recommend this place enough! Look forward to staying again in the future!

We had an amazing first experience in Scotland at this lovely Airbnb! The location was ideal, just a short drive to shops and only a couple of minutes' walk to the beach. Matt has truly put his heart into this home, blending modern comforts with charming historical touches. The cleanliness was impeccable, earning a solid 10/10, and we absolutely loved the enormous vintage metal bathtub. Chasing after Matt's playful chickens added an unexpected adventure to our stay! Plus, being pet-friendly made it even more special. Highly recommended!

We had a fantastic stay at Martin and Charul's apartment and would definitely stay there again! From the moment of booking to departure communication was flawless and we felt very welcome. The apartment was clean, decorated beautifully and we had everything that we could have needed. The apartment is well situated and only a short walk to princes street and Edinburgh Waverley so the perfect location to explore the city.

Lovely spot in a really great location. Check in was very easy, the apartment is very clean and has everything you could need. Can highly recommend.

Couldn’t ask for a better location to explore the Royal Mile. Everything is walkable and there’s no shortage of restaurants nearby. The Rocksalt cafe is right next door and is excellent for breakfast. The flat is very well decorated, cozy, and had everything we needed. The only downside I can think of is the size of the shower. It’s a bit small for tall people but it’s somewhat to be expected with these small flats in this location.

Really lovely accommodation. Immaculately clean and lovely decor. Thought of most things to make it home from home. Great location for exploring the local area and wonderful views from the living room. Would definitely rebook this place!
