Cortez : locations de vacances

The photos do NOT do justice to the beauty of this location. There are literally thousands of archeological sites in the area and the central location is a dream, especially in the winter when it can get cold at night. You know those real estate photos that make a house look larger? Well, Lynn's photos make the place look smaller. Plenty of space for a couple with a convenient kitchen. The biggest attraction is the radiant in-floor heating in the bathroom. So nice to stand after a shower and feel the warmth moving up from the feet. Got a sense of the outdoors between the wide open space around the cabin where a buck was chasing females for hours one evening. Definitely a beauty and at an great price. Can't beat that.

We’ve stayed in a number of AirBnBs over the years but this has been one of our favorites. Clear, concise directions on how to get there, private, BEAUTIFUL views with wildlife. There were such nice touches in the home that made us so comfortable as soon as we walked in and throughout our visit. The whole place was super clean, curtains made it dark at night, very quiet, and had everything we needed.

This was the first time we traveled with our dog and we were looking for a dog friendly place and Sarah's place exceeded our expectations. Our dog had a blast running around and playing in the backyard and we loved the fact it was fenced in so we could leave him off leash. Sarah embraced the pet friendly concept with the small details such as the dog bed and water/food bowls provided. Our 50 pound German Shepard slept comfortably on the dog bed. Sarah's place was extremely comfortable and relaxing for the humans as well. The king size bed was very comfortable and linens were good quality. Furnishings throughout made it easy to relax and enjoy our stay. The little things that Sarah did such as the coffee, creamer, and eggs were appreciated. The bathroom was well stocked with everything we could need. The location is perfect as you are close to everything in town. Next time we are in Cortez we will definitely be looking to stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at this house! It’s beautiful, comfy, warm & extremely inviting! Cynthia, our hostess, was very kind, receptive & thoughtful. There was a big snowstorm coming in to that area on our day of arrival & she offered for us to come a day early to avoid the weather! Very sweet. Beautiful property, clean, well stocked for guests. We will definitely stay at this lovely house again!

This is the second time my husband and I have stayed with Bill and Joanne, and they are just so wonderful. The cabin and property are gorgeous and such a peaceful place for some much needed rest. I would highly recommend staying here if you’re coming to southwestern Colorado.

This amazing home was wonderfully comfortable and immaculately clean! Everything you need to have a great stay in the charming town of Dolores is on offer at this house. The delightfully comfortable beds, sofa’s, and dining areas made for a very enjoyable visit. The thermostat controlling with gas fireplace for heat was charming and gave the house a cozy, eclectic vibe that we sure found welcoming. Hope to stay here again in the future!

The pictures online don’t do it justice. It is very spacious for a family of 7. We wish we could take the house with us to our hometown. Cami thought of everything you could need with very clear instructions of where things are at. We had everything we needed to cook meals including basic condiments and seasonings. The kids were entertained with the outdoor and indoor games - we weren’t expecting all of the outdoor stuff so they were a great surprise that we all enjoyed a lot. We felt right at home and hope to go back again because we loved it so much. The best part was the location - it was so peaceful and great for stargazing at night, and close to landmarks to visit and explore.

I can't say enough great things about Cole's place. I was traveling with my 3 dogs and it was the perfect location and set up. I was within 20 minutes of both Mesa Verde and Canyon of the Ancients - just a few minutes from the main business area in Cortez and super close for side trips to Dolores and Mancos. The place was absolutely adorable and super comfortable and had everything I needed for a brief getaway. I especially appreciated the fenced yard so the dogs could spend time outdoors. Cole "warned" me about neighborhood wildlife and farm life but the place was so peaceful and comfortable. I highly recommend and will return for future trips to this area - I've only begun exploring!

Loved this place. Lots of critters. Hummingbirds, ducks, rabbits, lizards, dragon flys, butterflies, and more. Beautiful garden on the grounds with places to sit among the trees, flowers, art. Lots of peace and quiet. Our hosts were kind and quick with communication.
