Nancy and Bill were the best hosts. Their property is honestly a little piece of heaven! My husband and I had such a wonderful weekend celebrating our Anniversary. If you want a super peaceful getaway surrounded by nature, then I would HIGHLY recommend!

The suite was even better than the pictures! They thought of everything from morning coffee to makeup washcloths for us ladies! The handmade furniture was remarkable! Jeff was so helpful and accommodating. The surrounding area had so many cute shops! This trip was better than I even expected!

Beautiful cabin and location, very peaceful, quiet and just short drive to local restaurants, shopping, gym and pool. Felt like home. Jeff was informative and quick to respond when we had a question. We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay at Jeff’s place. Close to all the shops and restaurants - about a 6min drive but a beautiful setting away from it all. The place was spotless and the beds and pillows were so comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

This home was the perfect lakeside retreat for our time in the Mt Vernon / Howard Ohio area. We cannot recommend it enough!

Really enjoyed the location! The tap water was excellent! Plenty of space for all 10 of us to sleep comfortably and multiple places to catch up. Exactly what we were looking for.

Great place for a little getaway! Not too far from Mohican St Park for our day activities and plenty of fun stuff at the house to do in the evenings—they even had fire starters and smore sticks! I would definitely stay here again, the outdoor space was especially lovely and the hosts were very responsive.

This was the perfect place for my friends and I to stay for our guys weekend. Plenty of beds, beautiful park behind the house and only a few minutes away from the Apple Valley Golf Course. Todd and JoAnn were extremely responsible, accommodating, and friendly. I would gladly stay here again.

Very cute and super clean house. Plenty of room for my husband and I and our 4 boys. Our kids loved the tennis table, darts, hot tub, and large yard to run around. We stayed here while visiting the Pro Football Hall of Fame and it was a short 20 minute drive. Lots of reasonably priced and good places to eat in the area too. The only downside would be the factory that you could see in the distance. It was not an issue for us, but could be for others. Overall, it was great place to stay for our family.

Wonderful spot for a girls weekend getaway! The house was easy to find and immaculate upon arrival. There were so many bedrooms to pick from! All of the little touches, like the labels in the kitchen and toiletries in the bathrooms made staying in the house easy and comfortable. Because it's March, we obviously didn't get to use any of the lake amenities, but we still enjoyed the porches and the hot tub. Thanks for a relaxing escape from the city!

This is an absolutely wonderful house! It’s a great peaceful location. The amenities are exactly as described. The kitchen is a dream to cook in. Everything’s very well stocked. Plenty of dishes, pans, etc. The beds are so soft and the bedding warm and cozy. Had two fantastic nights of sleep! The gas fire place is a great touch. Everything is just so well thought out and labeled. It’s a dream to stay in. The host was super responsive and friendly. Groceries and restaurants are a quick 10-15 min drive. It’s so peaceful with the animals near by in the field and the river out the front door. My kids described it like walking into the ultimate Grandma’s house. Would absolutely choose this house for a vacation. This would be a great stay-cation house, just staying in during the spring and summer and enjoying the big porch and seating looking over the river.

We had a great time at this residence, we would definitely be interested in staying here again!
