miguel is so great. found us a wonderful snorkeling trip when we were having trouble finding the place. a real highlight of our trip. his home was quiet and the bedrooms were cool with doors shut and ac going. water pressure was good. I always say this about all Mexican beds. They could all use a good two or 3 inch extra foam to make it more comfortable. I also highly recommend dust mite protectors for the beds with a mattress pad. We stayed in three different places so I can’t remember which ones had dust might protectors and which ones didn’t. i have dust mite allergies and I usually travel with my own blowup insulate, so I am always comfortable in the Mexican beds. i was very comfortable at miguel’s. he is an excellent host and has a great property. i would stay there again. i felt very safe.

We had a wonderful stay! The outside living area and yard was lovely. A perfect place to get away and unwind. Comfortable bed and a nice breeze made for a great sleep every night. Thanks for having us Mary!

Bed so comfy, about 3 blocks away from the beach, walking distance to local grocery shops and places to eat. Chris was so kind and they were attentive to our needs. Thank you!

Creo que es uno de los pocos alojamientos que se tienen a pie de playa en un precio tan accesible, todos los espacios asignados para poder dormir y áreas para relajarte son excepcionales al igual que la atención de Juan y los vecinos a el alojamiento. Es un lugar muy recomendable para pasar unas vacaciones excelentes.

This was my second stay here in two years. I needed a place to stay so I can visit my mom everyday. Stinky water issue from last year is resolved. There was plenty of hot water. Daniela checked on me a couple times to ensure my stay was pleasant. I will come here again if it is available. Very walkable and safe.

We loved our stay in Melaque and would love to come back! The house was great for our small group of co-workers. Beds and rooms were very spacious and so many great spots to hang out. In the pictures, the color of the pool looks a little off, but in person, it was perfect. Great easy access to the beach. Super peaceful to hang out and listen to the waves. Surrounding area is very relaxed. Can walk to restaurants. Best part of house was Noemi, who helped prepare meals for us. She is fantastic and super helpful. Highly recommend having her cook for your group or family. And the host is great and super responsive as well! Highly recommend this place!!!

Casa Nido Contendo was perfect and just steps away from the the beach. The views from the 2nd and 3rd floors were spectacular. The 2nd fl became our favourite gathering spot for morning coffee with the sun streaming through. It was also nice in the late afternoon for games while the ocean breeze flowed through. The pool was a big hit. The beds were very comfortable and we found the ceiling fan was sufficient to keep us cool at bedtime. The kitchen was fully stocked with food staples and a variety of cookware. The bedding and towels were laundered weekly along with a thorough house cleaning from top to bottom. Overall it was a great experience for our first visit to Melaque. It only took 15 min to walk to the the main square where there was always lots going on; with numerous restaurants nearby. There is a beautiful malecon for strolling and the weekly market is only 2 blocks away. Our host was very responsive & we felt totally at home in her beautiful casa.

Gabriela’s place was great! This home was able to accommodate 14 members of our family comfortably. We loved how each room had its own bathroom and shower. It allowed efficiency and privacy. We definitely will be returning to Gabriela’s home.

Excellent location at Playa Grande, morning sun on the outdoor deck was wonderful and shade for the afternoon was appreciated. Lots of room -great size. Patio furniture needs updating (one chair un-useable). Shower pressure needs upgrading. Lots of dishes, cooking utensils, food wrap and assorted spices etc. from past renters. Need to purchase laundry soap and paper towels if nothing was left over from former renters. Lots of towels, bedding etc. Very good room sizes. Having access to the well stocked store on site and swim up bar was great. Releasing turtles before supper was an exciting moment for our grandchildren!! So many unique areas within close distance to drive to and swim/surf in the warm ocean. We would highly recommend Julie’s condo!!!

I just returned from my 2nd stay in Graciela's beautiful home and everything was fantastic. She is super response to communication. Someone was onsite for ALL of our needs at all times. The location is perfect - walkable to everything in Barra, but totally private. I highly recommend this great airbnb

Muy buen lugar para vacacionar en familia. La casa está justo como se describe y enseña las fotos. Carolina la dueña muy atenta con todo. Solo dos cosas cosas que cambiaría sería el refrigerador que en ratos daba toques, y el microondas que no calentaba, pero en general eso no afectó la vacaciones. Recomendado el lugar

Una experiencia agradable el airbnb es la segunda antes de la playa pero sigue teniendo vistas preciosas, el anfitrión súper atento siempre estuvo para apoyarnos, la única desventaja es que no hay comercios cerca por lo que recomiendo preparar todo antes de llegar la únicas forma de obtener víveres es en el pueblo que solo está accesible en carro o 30-40 min caminando de ahí en más el lugar es hermoso

Excelente alojamiento, con todo lo necesario para pasarla bien y bonito. La ubicación es excelente, cerca de la playa y muchos lugares por conocer. Reconocimiento al anfitrión, siempre pendiente de las dudas que surgieron. Habrá que regresar pronto!

One of the BEST Airbnb's we have stayed (and we have stayed in a lot). The surroundings were peaceful. The design inspiring. A great experience all around. We cannot wait to return to see how everything comes together.

fuen un lugar pequeño pero agradable apesar de varios pequeños inconvenientes pero la pasamos muy bien aunque el anfitrión tardaba en contestar fue amable y pregunto después si ya me habían solucionado todo aún que no hable mucho con el todo estuvo muy bien y tranquilo nomás el precio fue un poquito caro para ser temporada baja pero lo recomiendo! 👍

This was our third stay at Joyce's place, and we simply love visiting Boca de Iguanas. The condo is beautiful and spacious, with a terrace overlooking the sea that’s perfect for meals. The kitchen is super well-equipped, ideal for anyone who enjoys cooking. The beach is stunning—peaceful, relaxing, and spacious. Whether you want to swim, take a walk, or simply soak up the sun, it’s a fantastic spot. Joyce's property also features a gorgeous garden surrounded by the end of a river, home to a variety of birds and iguanas—an absolute delight to admire. Just a heads-up: there’s only a small store nearby where you can find basics like ice and beer for the beach. I recommend bringing your own food so you can focus on nothing but relaxing. Nely is always there to take care of anything you might need regarding the condo, and Joyce is very responsive and helpful if you need her as well.

Darrell’s place is the perfect amount of privacy with walkable area. Everything we needed and wanted in Barra was easy to get to. The condo was everything we wanted and more. Darrell gave excellent suggestions that made our trip very special.

Isael is a great host. Will always look to book one of his managed properties whenever I'm in Pérula area. He's very fast at communication and supportive with guest stay needs. Property was well kept and he responded quickly to offer help.
