Costa Rica : locations de vacances dans des maisons organiques

Las vistas, al menos en temporada seca, son insuperables. Hay vista completa al volcán Arenal desde el ventanal de la cama y desde el porche. Karen es súper amable y muy agradable. Nos ayudó con varias excursiones y nos dio consejos muy útiles sobre cosas que hacer por la zona. Siempre estaba atenta a lo que pudiéramos necesitar. Estuvimos muy a gusto y si volvemos es un sitio que repetiremos sin duda.

Sehr tolle Unterkunft in der man sich gleich wohlfühlt! Wir hatten tolle Unterhaltungen und man kann es wirklich sehr empfehlen :) von dort haben wir Ausflüge zum Carara Nationalpark gemacht und zu einer Krokodil/Vogel Boots tour. Was man wissen sollte ist, dass es nur kaltes Wasser in der Dusche gibt aber bei den warmen Temperaturen war das gar kein Problem.

This house is truly unique and absolutely beautiful. It is secluded, safe and private with fantastic views up into the trees all around. We heard and saw many beautiful birds including a pair of red macaws who visited everyday. Also humming birds, toucans, vultures, spider monkeys every day, coatis, lesser anteater, poison dart frogs, lizards and heard howler monkeys and got a brief glimpse of one in the distance. They can sound quite scary but they are not threatening at all. A key feature (see photos) is that there are no windows or doors in this place so be prepared for nature to have full access! There is also a nice lookout platform with a wonderful view of the sea- it is also a bit cooler up there in the wood. Carlos is a fantastic host, very inspiring and generous with his time. He will tell you with enormous enthusiasm about nature all around. A lady comes to clean most days and also gave wonderful massages. We all had a truly fantastic stay! Don't miss it- highly recommend

Beautiful grounds, comfortable and well furnished space. Just one caution for taller guests - things are geared toward those of standard height. Not really a drawback or a deal breaker, just something to be aware of. We’d happily stay here again next time we’re in the area!

Was für ein magischer Ort! Eine wunderschöne Unterkunft, mit Liebe (für's Detail) gepflegt, sehr sauber. Es ist deutlich spürbar, dass es sich um ein Herzensprojekt handelt! Das Haus ist superpraktisch eingerichtet, mit Allem was man braucht (inkl. auch in der Küche), wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Die Umgebung und Landschaft sind einmalig. Swin ist sehr gut erreichbar und nimmt sich Zeit, alle möglichen Fragen zu beantworten sowie auch, um Tips zu erteilen. Swin & Familie sind sehr hilfsbereit. Bereichernder und sehr wohlwollender Austausch. Wir sind eine Woche geblieben und jeder Tag davon hat sich gelohnt! Danke euch von Herzen für diesen wunderschönen Aufenthalt!

El huevito es maravilloso. Tiene todo lo que necesitas para estar cómodo. Nos recibieron muy rápido y muy bien. El desayuno estaba delicioso, no lo esperábamos! Descubrimos que en el parque nacional ya no se puede entrar al Río Celeste así que estábamos un poco decepcionados, y que increíble sorpresa enterarnos que aquí hay acceso a una parte del río muy tranquila y privada y te puedes bañar en él. Increíble!

we just got back from Madre Selva and I am not sure I can find the words. Unique, peaceful, private and the most beautiful location with unforgettable views of jungle, whale's tail beach, ocean and sunrises. The house has everything you need and more. Carolina and her husband are the nicest and the most welcoming people and their breakfasts and dinners were so delicious. They took a such good care of us, organizing everything and helping us with everything we needed. we felt right at home the moment we arrived. Amazing memories ❤️ thank you so much! Pura Vida 🌴

Kris and Marie are exceptional hosts. They have built their own peaceful paradise. We enjoyed the eco friendly and vegan hosting and we particularly liked that they were so helpful and communicative. They helped us book transport from La fortuna and they had loads of helpful recommendations for things to do and places to eat. The breakfast is brilliant. Very filling and the pancakes and Açai bowl we really enjoyed alongside our chai tea. This is a unique place built by them, with an eco toilet and they live upstairs while you have your own space and privacy downstairs. We also did the yoga with Marie which we really enjoyed and was worth every penny. The accommodation is on a steep dirt road which we did walk up a few times and used taxis when we were too tired. Kris kindly picked us up from where the shuttle dropped us when we arrived as it would have been really hard to climb up with our suitcase. We also got to see monkeys at the bottom of the road!

Fantastic way to end the celebration of 40 years of marriage. The Hobbit House was just like Tolkien would have wanted it!!

An incredible getaway to disconnect from the hustle and bustle of city life! The soothing sound of the river at night creates the perfect ambiance for relaxation, and the stargazing from the deck is absolutely magical. The house is well-equipped with everything you might need, including excellent internet, making it a great balance of nature and comfort. One of the highlights is the nearby waterfall, just a short walk away. It features a beautiful natural river pool—truly breathtaking and a must-visit! A quick heads-up: a 4x4 vehicle is essential, especially during the rainy season, as the road can get quite slippery. Overall, this place is a hidden gem for anyone seeking peace, adventure, and a touch of luxury in nature. Highly recommend!

Damián’s very magical home in the jungle perfect in every way. The location is fantastic, a short walk to a lovely beach, where a sloth crossed our path (can’t get more special than that). The cozy house is nestled in a quiet cul-de-sac with security and privacy. One of the neighbors down the street is the Jaguar rescue center. Amazing!!! I already miss the birds and howler monkeys’ calls. Damian thought of everything and did so with an authentic aesthetic flair. He even provided beach chairs and sarongs among many other thoughtful details. And the bed is very very comfortable. We had a lot of rain but fully enjoyed our stay and got some wonderful time at the beach. Thanks Damian! You made our visit truly wonderful!
