Costa Rica : locations de vacances avec accès à un lac

One of the most beautiful locations, the view over the lake is simply stunning. Magical sunsets. Location is a 10. Super quiet and peaceful, many birds come close to the house and I found it a true delight to hear them sing through the morning. House is spacious, beds are comfortable. Sheets are clean and soft. Kitchen is well equipped. Terrace is just a lovely place to hang out.

I don’t think there are enough words to describe how magical our stay was. Our family said it was the best vacation that they have ever had. Vicente was amazing and really became part of our family, we cried when leaving. Looking to,book again next year.

El lugar acogedor, limpio y perfecto para tiempo en familia o con amigos, es muy tranquilo y tiene suficiente espacio en el estacionamiento. Excelente comunicación con el anfitrión, son muy amables y siempre pendientes.

Our stay at Elisabeth and Michael's home was fantastic! We felt as though we had stepped back in time to the early 1900's. They have done an amazing job restoring the place while retaining the original character. Their home is truly a work of art. While there are a few modern conveniences one might find missing, we had everything we needed, were very comfortable and felt completely at home. Michael's breakfast was wonderful and he was always ready to help in every way possible. Our conversations with our hosts were captivating and one of the hi lights of our time in Costa Rica! It is quite apparent that Elisabeth and Michael love Puntarenas and Costa Rica. That affection is quite contagious and we found ourselves more in love with their country having visited with them in their home for a few days and would definitely stay with them again.

I stayed a little over a month here and had a great time! Marynes is such a responsive host from the start - the first night she gave me a tour of the town and several recommendations. The tours I ended up doing with her were great and she always made sure we had a fun time; she always had a positive attitude and went out of her way to answer any questions/solve any issues :) The place is in a lovely spot - a quiet neighborhood where you can see birds outside your window but it is close to the road so you will hear cars/motorcycles throughout the day. I worked remotely (full time) throughout my entire stay and the wifi worked great! Hot water and washer were amazing. I ended up walking to town and most places (everything is within 15-20 mins), but it is a very hilly area so keep that in mind. Restaurants are within easy walking distance and the lake was only a five minute walk or so - easy to get to for sunsets every day :)

By far, this has been one of the best Airbnb properties I've stayed at. The house and the condominium project are spectacular. Laura was super helpful in ensuring we had a wonderful stay. I would definitely stay here again. Great experience.

Casa Sundog is amazing! The concierge team was top notch from beginning to end. They were super communicative and provided great recommendations. The house was impressive to say the least and exceeded our expectations. This was the perfect stay for our family of 10 and made my parents 50th anniversary very memorable.

Do yourself a favor and book this house, you won’t regret it! The house was clean and spacious, the pool was perfect for kids, the grounds were beautiful with tons of plants and animals to see, and both Raquel and Joshua were always fast to respond. Breakfast was hosted by Raquel’s boyfriend and father for us, it was delicious. Her father showed us around the property and where the sloths hang out, we saw the mom and a baby sloth almost daily outside of the kitchen windows and tons of different birds. We did miss out on Ruth cooking for us as she was on vacation but Raquel gave us plenty of recommendations for food and even brought us delicious arroz con pollo one day! Joshua set up our transfers whenever we needed one. Raquel had her family help babysit our daughters for a few hours and they took such good care of them. We loved it there!

One of the best place to stay if you go to Costa Rica by far. Is next to an awesome pound, you have convenience store just outside, multiple restaurants. Safety is a top in the place. If you are with a family that is a place to keep safe.

This was our favorite stay by far in Costa Rica! Miguel’s place is exactly how it is described and pictured. The beds were comfortable. Check in was smooth. It is in a great area with so many things to do. We also loved the pool and gym on the property.

Fantastic from start to finish. This spot is a hidden gem. Cristian is a most gracious and friendly host, a delightful human being. We felt life family by the time we left. The space is immaculate. Everything about the accommodations has been done with care. This is the kind of place to go if you want a experience of real Costa Rica. And to top it off, five minutes walking up the road is a gorgeous waterfall! If you want to go to Irazu Volcano from Cristian's place, stick to the main roads as Google Maps may try to take you on a "shorter" route that you will regret. Highly recommended!

What a great location and atmosphere and the Studio and garden is perfect with all necesities for a true beachfront vacation .. Definitely one of our best stays in Costa Rica. Sonny and Rita are the nicest most welcoming people! We will be back again as their Airbnb is a mew destination for us!!

Es una zona muy sana , se desplaza con facilidad a donde quiera ir y todo está al alcance, restaurante y comercios en general

Locación muy cómoda y con mucha accesibilidad para hacer diferentes actividades y descansar. La posibilidad de usar el kayak y el paddle board es muy ventajoso dado lo cerca que está el lago donde se pueden aprovechar

Es una casa grande, súper equipada, muy limpia y cómoda. El área de piscina y bbq es hermosa. Muy felices de habernos alojado, volveríamos sin pensarlo.

La fortuna nunca decepciona y en esta ocasión en el hospedaje de Adrian no fue la excepción, su casa es simplemente hermosa, acogedora y con una vista increíble, cuenta con lo necesario para hacer de la estadía muy placentera. El anfitrión 10/10, con su amabilidad, claridad y manera oportuna de brindar información hizo de nuestra primer experiencia en un airbnb muy agradable, Adrián muchas gracias.

Good value, nice well maintained clean house with an electric gate, perimeter fence and multiple security cameras. Nice sheltered outdoor areas for sitting and dining on a rainy day. There is a river and mountain with tropical forest rising up behind the house. Old style electric shower head. It can be quite hot if you keep the flow of water low. Nice screened windows for good cross ventilation. Quite cool at night so no need for AC. Spent one morning at Blue Falls which was truly amazing. The kitchen had all the necessary utensils, air fryer, microwave and outdoor grill. Ran out of propane for the stove but Daniela sent over a full tank within an hour.

We came pretty late, the last 50 meters is necessary drive very slowly, but the place itself simply famous. No neighbours, beautiful terraces, tiny but wery comfy. It is such an special place, really quite, with special vibe. No matter how far it seems to be from the village.

This was property matched the description and the pictures well. El Castillo is a more peaceful area than La Fortuna and close enough to feel like you can go back and forth without any issue. The view from the porch hot tub is stunning and makes up for the rustic amenities within the cabin. There was daily construction starting at 6:00am on the house next-door, however, so I probably would not have chosen this property if I had known that before-hand.
