We spent New Year’s Eve at this charming countryside house and it was truly a delightful experience. Communication with Maria was excellent and all the details and assistance provided made everything so much easier. The hospitality was outstanding! Maria’s parents welcomed us with everything perfectly prepared - from the warmth of a cozy fire to a fridge stocked with traditional goodies like bacon, sausages, eggs, honey and more. The house was lovely, well-equipped; managing the heating ourselves added to the charm of the place and wasn’t an issue at all. The courtyard well-maintained and we were blessed with sunny weather throughout our stay. Due to some unexpected and pre-existing health issues, we extended our stay by two nights. Maria and her parents were incredibly thoughtful and supportive, providing food, medication and anything we needed, making us feel like family. We recommend this wonderful location and are certain we’ll return in the future. A big thank you for everything!

A lovely guesthouse 15 minutes' walk from Horezu town. The surroundings are so peaceful—very green, birds chirping, super peaceful. The house and rooms were immaculate. The room is extremely comfortable: medium-firm mattress, fluffy medium-firm pillows, blackout shades, a nice duvet—I slept very well. There was coffee downstairs every morning. Catalina was very kind, offering to pick me up at the station, giving me a lift to down, and calling a cab for me. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

This location has wonderful outdoor amenities in a beautiful setting. Even in the winter my daughter fell in love with the garden path and swings. The house is particularly well suited for families and large groups. The host provided many thoughtful touches from a bin of kid toys to door draft stoppers to keep bedrooms warm. Great location right next to pottery sellers but also only 5 minutes to downtown Horezu and grocery stores.
