Our stay in the shepherds hut was idyllic. What a lovely place to get away to. It was amazingly peaceful and so cosy with the wood burner. We will definitely be returning.

Location was stunning, the host was lovely and it has beautiful walks on the doorstep. Hot tub definitely worth the extra money as elevates the stay to another level. The dog thoroughly enjoyed his stay as well!

We loved our stay on the shepherds hut, which looked and felt new, and was beautifully finished. Fantastic location, great for local walks (we walked to The Open Ditch pub) and amazing views from the bed & seating area. Very accommodating hosts, super helpful and responsive. Beautiful shepherds hut in rural location. Perfect for a relaxing weekend away. Close to a lot of lovely walks, highly recommend the butchers arms for dinner.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Our dogs absolutely loved the space and it was perfect for them to really stretch their legs. The cabin was super cozy, we stayed during a bit of a temperature drop so it was around -3 at night but the log burner was so warm we didn't even need a jumper on! Along with the temperature drop came some snow and we actually ended up getting stuck on the hill on toward the entrance but Mark answered his phone immediately and rushed down in his Land Rover to give us a tow up and nothing was too much to ask, we felt super accommodated. Thanks again :)

Emily’s place was an ideal getaway, secluded, clean, peaceful the perfect place to unwind for a few days, the hot tub made it extra special, all communication with Emily was excellent, would definitely recommend, will definitely be returning, thank you Emily.

We loved our stay at Greengage Hut! Lower Nill Farm is beautiful and the location is great, with lots to do and great walks in the local area. Johnathan and Jenny were super responsive hosts and really helpful, especially with the hot tub and bbq! Their place is the perfect for a weekend getaway, and the hut has everything you could need, we felt right at home and couldn't recommend it more! Thank you for a lovely stay!

I had a lovely few nights at Franks place, great hosts. A cosy shepherds hut with all the amenities you need readily accessible in a peaceful location. I had a lovely time looking at the stars from the deck outside with the fire going to keep warm. Breakfast was amazing, croissant with jams, fruit and yoghurt bought to the hut, with everything you needed to make a tea or coffee already there. Would definitely stay again if passing through the area.

Beautiful stay in a beautiful location, great friendly hosts too! So many little touches that really made the stay a special one!

We had a lovely stay at Victoria’s shepherd hut. The location is wonderful, and my children had a great time playing in the garden. The hut is incredibly well thought out, the beds are comfortable, everything is clean and there is everything you need for a pleasant stay. I would strongly recommend to others. Thanks!

Lovely shepherds hut in a beautiful location with private garden. Merriscourt Team were very helpful and responsive and the hut had all amenities for an overnight stay while attending local festival.

This was the most beautiful getaway in such a lovely shepard’s hut. The location was perfect and we felt so reset after such a peaceful weekend. The hot tub was a perfect way to end the day after walking and exploring the beautiful surroundings. You also added the perfect little touches to make this stay even more special. Including prosecco, biscuits and crisps on arrival; couples quiz and games in the hut; the stargazing. It was the best weekend and thank you for being so friendly and communicative.

Der Aufenthalt in der Shepherds Hut war großartig. Sharon und ihr Mann waren sehr nette, zurückhaltende Gastgeber. Sie Hütte war genau wie angepriesen mitten in der Natur und es war alles da, was man benötigt. Sogar volles Equipment zum Grillen und einige grundsätzliche Dinge wie Tee/Kaffee, Kekse, etc. Es war ein rundherum gelungener Aufenthalt - wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

We had a lovely peaceful stay here for our birthday! The bath took a bit of working out to get the right temperature but we were lovely and warm in the end despite it being 1°c outside - thankfully there were bathrobes for us to use which was perfect! The canal and a little shop are literally 2min walk from the hut and we went to a nice pub just down the road (the admiral nelson) - you can either walk down the road or the canal to get there. Our dogs loved the paddock and cosy fire 🔥 Thank you so much 😊

My girlfriend and I had the wonderful privilege of staying at this shepard's hut for 3 days. Our host Trish was very friendly, accommodating and helpful, had made special arrangements to pick us up from the nearby town, and personally showed us around the estate and the surrounding areas. She gave lots of useful and interesting information about potential spots we could go to see and eat, and made us feel right at home. The hut itself looked so beautiful, it was squeaky clean and painted with lovely tones of green and brown. It was furnished with taste and came well equipped with everything one might need to cook, relax and enjoy. The campfire area was also lovely and made for a heart-warming and romantic evening. We had the pleasure of meeting the two resident dogs who were friendly, playful and uplifted our day. The surrounding area is most beautiful and serene - and there many times I felt like I was in the midst of a fairy tale. We would love to come back again!

This was probably one of the best Airbnb's we've stayed in, the photos don't do it justice! The place was spotless and had everything you could need. Lots of local taxis available to take you into Wells (10 mins max) where there are plenty of lovely pubs & restaurants. The hot tub was amazing, very easy to use and the hut was much bigger than we expected! Lou was an incredible host, so welcoming and hospitable, always replying super quickly to any questions and very clear instructions. If you are looking for a rural, peaceful, fun get away, we couldn't recommend this enough!

We had an amazing time staying in Emily's shepherds hut. The hut itself was beautiful inside and really cosy but still plenty spacious enough for two people. The swan pub was a great recommendation for food and drink and was only a 20 second walk away, perfect for stumbling back to the comfy bed in the hut after a few.

Amazing stay! Such a lovely little shepherds hut which was well equipped and perfect for us. Breakfast provided was a bonus and felt so welcome by Rosalind and family. We would definitely return if we were in the area!

Our second visit to this stunning hut with astonishing views and it’s just as perfect as the first time we came and just as magical of an experience. Being so close a town but once to pull up you feel like you’ve entered Narnia. Such a peaceful and relaxing place to stay, me and my partner 1000% recommend and will most certainly return. Incredibly friendly and welcoming hosts!

We had the best time. This place is everything we dreamed of. The jacuzzi was amazing and they warmed it up for us before we came. So helpful when we needed some extra wood. Agreed to extend for another night with no issues. She was friendly and welcoming. She arranged chocolates and bubbles for my partners birthday and decorated the room. We loved every minute of it and would love to return one day. Excellent host and fabulous hut 😊

Just had a great stay. Weather was amazing so made the weekend even more enjoyable. The Hut was clean and the bed very comfortable. Sat outside we saw a beautiful barn owl flying around. Peaceful and quiet location. Just need to brush up on my fire building skills to get the hot tub warm quicker next time!!!!

Janine is one of the best hosts I’ve ever had - the hut was absolutely beautiful and the hamper was so special with personalised touches. We felt right at home! Can’t fault the place, I fully recommend. Watching the stars in the hot tub at night really made it a special experience.
