Great place for a weekend retreat, very peaceful with amazing views. An afternoon in the hot tub overlooking the water is just what you need after a week of work.

We had a fantastic stay at Nicola’s house, which was perfect for three families coming together. The on-site pool was a great addition, and the Ballihoo restaurant was both welcoming and convenient ideal for everything from a morning coffee to an evening meal. The house was spotlessly clean, with three excellent bathrooms plus a downstairs toilet, making it ideal for a group stay. We would love to return in the summer to fully enjoy the surroundings, but even in the colder months, the cosy wood fire made it a wonderful retreat.

We had a wonderful time. The place is lovely and much nicer and bigger than the photos in my opinion. The host was really responsive and helpful. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting a trip with friends or family. Kitchen has more than enough glasses/pots/pans etc which was really helpful when cooking a meal for 6. Lovely space and I will be back :-)

Booked this accommodation for a family wedding near Cirencester. We thought it looked great on the listing but it looks even better when you arrive. The surroundings are beautiful. The lodge itself was extremely clean with all the facilities you could need at a very reasonable price. We only stayed for 2 nights but wished we could have been there for longer. Lovely place right on the water. Looks better than the photos. Had everything we needed in a great location with access to pool and with onsite restaurant and little shop. Perfect for a get away would come again

Beautiful place to stay, very helpful information folder of the area. You could walk or drive to restaurants/bar. If the weather had been better we would have explored the lakes more. But we got out and about . Very clean and tidy place and everything inside that you could possibly want. We would definitely stay again . Thanks Frannie x

The property has beautiful views over the lake and we could see loads of different water birds. The view was even better than the photos suggested. The property was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped and has an excellent coffee machine. This would be perfect for an extended family group or 2 families sharing. There was lots of storage and places for shoes and coats. The onsite restaurant Balihoo was excellent especially if you are coeliac. There was also a pizza shack that my kids said was great. Clare was a proactive host and the property is run by Orion holidays who sent plenty of communication and information. We will definitely visit again.

A fantastic little gem of a hideaway for a couple of nights near Witney. Only good things to say about Terry and Elaine’s property. Very close to LIDL for supplies and Witney for restaurants, with a secure garden for the dog and an excellent walk just around the corner. We were here for a couple of days to take part in a sailing event at Farmoor Reservoir and it proved to be the perfect location for us. Very friendly neighbouring pub even had vegan food for us. A shame the most direct route to the reservoir meant we had to go via the toll bridge at Swinford but we soon got over having to fork out 5p each way…🙂

I stayed for a month in Rachel's place as I moved back from abroad and needed a base to get settled back from. Rachel was a great host and always there for support, she even gifted me some homemade flapjacks during my stay The property was exactly as pictured if not slightly bigger, the location was easy to find. You very much feel like you're out in the countryside in Bishop Sutton and the lake is 10 minutes away and it's a lovely walk.

Everything went very well. The flat is comfortable, especially the living room upstairs! We had a great time. Edward was very kind and it was easy to communicate.

Could’ve asked for a better location - as it’s a city centre spot everything was walkable which is exactly what we wanted. If you’re after peace and quiet, this is not the place for you. Spotlessly clean, friendly host, comfy bed, with all amenities you would expect. Highly recommend!

Two years after our last stay in Binsey, we were very happy to return for another week. It was a very nice welcome, we had lovely conversations with Alison and Steve. Binsey is unique, quite, excellent if you need time to write or read. Rent a bike for journeys to Jerchio, the city center, colleges or the University hospital. We can highly recommend this place and hope to return in the near future.

Super peaceful and lovely location. Private and even prettier than in the photos. Super clean and tidy.

The apartment was very comfortable and spacious. We really enjoyed having meals on the balcony overlooking the lake and made good use of the onsite facilities like the spa and restaurant. Jane was great at answering our questions and making sure we had no issues.

Geoffrey's place was a beautiful apartment with stunning views, especially the sunset. amazing to relax at the end of the day on the balcony. Top tier! Geoffrey was great and super helpful. He left breakfast and everything we could possibly need to cook and make ourselves at home. Would 100% recommend and if the time came would definitely stay again. Thanks heaps!

A wonderful little bolthole situated in the most stunning grounds of the owners' home. Very private with plenty of parking space and the accommodation is charming and has everything you need for a short/long stay. Wonderfully comfortable living area and cute country style kitchen with all the essential equipment needed and a thoughtful continental breakfast left by the owners. Only a short stay for us unfortunately so didn't have time to walk around the grounds or try any of the wonderful walks/itineraries kindly provided by the owners but we hope to be back another time to try them out!

What a delightful stay I’ve just had at The Stable. Wonderful farm surroundings. Very peaceful and secure. Rita was an amazing host and the Cottage was extremely clean and comfortable and I wanted for nothing :-)

We had a great stay, perfect location for a Wedding up the road and central to other locations and activities for the rest of our stay. The house was lovely with beautiful views of the lake. Kids were really happy with their rooms and the open plan layout downstairs. Would definitely come again and recommend to friends and family.

We had a fantastic stay at Susan’s beautiful cottage over the weekend. Check-in was super easy – Susan greeted us on arrival and gave us a quick tour, making sure we knew where everything was and how it all worked. The cottage itself definitely had the wow factor – absolutely gorgeous, spotlessly clean, and really well looked after. It had such a peaceful, relaxing vibe, which made it the perfect getaway. The hot tub was a real treat! It was already warmed up and ready to use when we arrived, and really easy to operate – a lovely touch that made our stay feel extra special. It’s just a 4-minute drive into the town centre, where we found some lovely cafes and great places to eat. We also spent a day in Ludlow, which was absolutely stunning – well worth the short drive. All in all, we had a wonderful, relaxing weekend and would absolutely recommend this Airbnb to anyone looking for a beautiful place to stay with a great host.

We had an absolutely magical stay at Jeans with our children (7 and 9). From the moment we arrived it felt like home, the cottage is part of the main house but feels super private with a separate entrance and bit of garden. Jean was very friendly and welcoming. We were allowed to explore and use the woodland which is like something out of a novel - so much to see and do, curated over years. We were only going to visit friends in the area but think we must have to come back as we loved it so much! Beds super comfy and all you could need in the kitchen including some cakes on arrival! Thank you so much Jean!

What an amazing find. We have just returned from a fabulous stay with our children, at Chris and Alexandra’s gorgeous cottage - the photos don’t do it justice. So much to do and the most stunning views - there really is something for everyone. We didn’t want to leave. Chris and Alexandra were excellent hosts - helpful, friendly and responsive. We definitely will be returning.

Jason was the perfect host. Great communication and the house was just great with all the touches of making sure our stay was as perfect as possible. It’s such a great base for being able to enjoy the surroundings. Our kids had the best time being able to use the estates facilities all as part of our stay at the cottage. Would definitely recommend.
