Cottonwood Lake : locations de vacances

I’ve stayed in a lot of Airbnb’s, but this was one of my favorites. It was definitely a very nice house, great location, and the amenities in the house were items people want in their homes, not cheap. The dishes and pots and pans were really nice, which make a big difference. The hosts were awesome and very responsive. I would stay here again.

Sol Salida was the perfect place for me and my sister to meet up for the first time in a year (she lives in Taos, NM and I live near Boulder, CO and Salida is halfway between us). The weather wasn't stellar, but Caleb's place was so close to downtown that we enjoyed walking in the rain regardless (thanks for the umbrella!) and didn't move our cars all weekend. He even agreed to a late check-out, although our plans changed and we ended up not needing it. Place was just as pictured, loved all the windows and the comfy couch. Well supplied and loved the view of S Mtn from the kitchen window (definitely want to come back in winter when the S Mtn tree is lit!) I've stayed in a few rentals in Salida and this has been my favorite so far! I'm not sure I could share the bed with another person, but that's just me!

We had a great stay. The guesthouse was a phenomenal experience. The attention to detail was perfect. The location is a short drive from town and in a great neighborhood. The stars at night were gorgeous and enjoyable from the deck. The views are even more stunning in person. The hosts went above and beyond to think of everything we might need to be comfortable. Their local recommendations were spot on. Very responsive. A quiet, clean and refreshing stay. We will be looking for this location next time we visit BV.

Nice home in a quiet neighborhood near Main Street. Eric was very responsive and accommodating, and the home was clean and nicely furnished. It was very cold in BV the day we checked in and took a while to warm up, but was cozy and the gas stove created a nice ambiance.

without a doubt, this was a fabulous house and a fabulous stay. our co-host, linda, could not have been more responsive and helpful; she made us feel completely welcome. the location is ideal: a quick walk to main street and to gorgeous river walks, but just separate enough to feel quiet. the house is beautiful, with lots of space and light, and beautifully equipped. it's unusual to find a house with 4 king beds and 3 baths, which is exactly what we needed for our family group. this house and its co-host are gems.

We loved our stay! Everything was super clean, kitchen was well-stocked, and cabin was a quick drive to downtown Buena Vista. Beautiful area!

We stayed 2 nights for a girls weekend and really enjoyed this spacious, private location. Secluded, but very accessible and a short drive to town. Plenty of space and good layout for a group, with separate “wings” for shared kitchen / dining / living room, game room, and bedrooms. We prepared 2 meals per day in the well-appointed kitchen. Breathtaking views and lots of wildlife sightings. Would love to come back here again for an extended family gathering!

Brett and Paula were the best! They sent all the relevant info before we arrived. They also keep a book in the cabin with simple instructions on how to use the amenities and places to go during our stay. The cabin had absolutely everything we needed - The kitchen is full equipped with every single thing that was necessary for us to prepare our meals. The rooms were very clean and had extra blankets. The living room is extremely cozy and we had an amazing fireplace we used daily. The porch has a grill that we didn’t have the chance to use, and also an amazing hot tub - which was also already heated when we got there. It also has a view that was breathtaking for both of us. There are board games and dvds in the cabin - not that you need anything to help spend time - the cabin is also close to downtown FairPlay which is a beautiful little town with gift shops and coffee shops. It’s also about an hour away from Breckenridge. We had an unforgettable honey moon. Thank you, Brett and Paula!
