You could not fault the accommodation, perfectly fitted out and the locations was outstanding. Nan was perfect host, passing on local knowledge and recommending places to see and eat. We will certainly be booking a return trip.

The cottage is right next to the Mourne Mountains and so is an amazing place to stay for people interested in doing any walking or hiking in the area. Is exactly as shown on the advertisements. Mary was extremely welcoming and helpful, giving us lots of information both in person followed up by texts on places that are a must see, a nice scenic drive through the Mourne Mountains and information on the best methods to get into Dublin and Belfast to avoid driving through the very busy cities. The cottage was very clean with lots of kitchen utensils and even a washing machine available to use. Finally, the welcome package you get is just a lovely added bonus really making us feel at home. 100% would recommend and will definitely be returning in the future!

Wonderful place to stay, easy reach to places that we needed to go. 45 mins to each attraction we wanted to see. Larne& coastal road. Carrick a Rede, Giant’s Causeway & Derry Walls. Perfect for us.

We stayed here for my partners Birthday and it was just perfect. The cottage was very well decorated and had the most cosy feeling ever. The place itself had everything you need for a great stay and is in a scenic and quiet location, particularly for nature lovers. Any questions I had prior to and during my stay were answered quickly and efficiently by the host which is much appreciated. Glenn provided us with recommendations on places to go / eat alongside local taxis. We ended up going to slieve gullion which was absolutely beautiful. The small added details to the property just made it even better. Thank you so much for the beautiful stay, we will be back!!

A perfect get away if you are looking for a beautiful and quiet stay off the beaten path. The grounds are gorgeous and the inside is immaculate. A nice reprieve from the city energy of Dublin. Absolutely recommend!

The shepherds Hut was a tranquil night away in beautiful surroundings in the cutest little hut ever . We went to relax for my daughter's birthday and it was the perfect setting The hot tub was amazing and the hut was spotless and so quaint The host Elaine was very friendly and accommodating We will definitely go again

Fantastic spot out in the country while still being 10min from the local town. The view from the back window was incredible especially at sunset and the sheep in the front were cool (no sheep in FL). The home was clean and well built. I’m 6’4, 225lbs (100kg) and I had plenty of room in the shower. Very happy we staying here during our trip as this was one of the top spots we visited. What a beautiful spot! Can’t recommend enough, the space is cosy and has everything you need. The views are stunning from the wood fired hot tub and the separate bath and shower area are beautifully designed, every tiny detail has been thought out. Despite the weather being a bit poor the first night Marian made us feel right at home by lighting the wood burner for our arrival and giving us a tour! Marian is a fantastic host - the most friendly and welcoming host I have ever stayed with. Lots of local walks and Cookstown is just a few miles away filled with local shops, pubs and restaurants. Perfect spot for a break away. Would highly recommend.

Kevin’s place was an enjoyable spot for a night of peace away from the city. So clean and well kept with an amazing view that lives up to the name of the pod. Me and my partner booked on a whim and honestly could not have asked for much better. Kevin was in constant communication and was always on hand to help. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back in the future.

Beautiful, clean space with great views. Every small detail was provided for from scone and jam on arrival to a picnic basket. The bed was very comfortable. It was very quiet with a an easy walk to the beach. I would highly recommend.

Couldn’t fault this property, excellent service from Denise from booking right through to our stay. She went above and beyond to make our stay great. Would 100% recommend this property for anyone looking a handy escape, the hot tub was excellent and the property was spotless.

The Oat Box Is the perfect getaway! It’s cosy and feels like its own wee slice of heaven. Everything about our trip was fantastic we were able to relax and everything from booking to lighting the hot tub was made easy! Special thanks to the help provided to get our Hotub lit! Olive is an excellent host and the decor and vibe is perfectly curated and just so lovely I would recommend the oat box to anyone looking an escape from reality and a wee chance to rest and reset! Thank You Olive , we can’t wait to return!

Kay's place is lovely and quiet, and the cabin was clean and tidy and very comfortable. The views are absolutely apectacular and the photos don't do it justice! Only a 5 minute drive to Tollymore Forest and handy to Castlewellan and Newcastle towns 😊
