Ramelton Riverfront Apt 2 @ The Blue Goat

Ramelton is a special place and this apartment, ancient and modern, above the Blue Goat is doubly so. Holiday lights galore brightened the lovely quayside setting during our New Year’s visit. The host, Des, seems to work all hours and is handy at night if need be. Having his wonderful gourmet food shop, with excellent wine selection, just downstairs was a routine treat, especially with Winter hours for most of the other eating spots in town. We could watch the Lennon estuary with all its birds from the big living room window, imagining the place was ours. At the least, we will be sure to return again. Wonderful beaches, golf and restaurants half hour in all directions. Donegal central!

Serena’s place was spectacular! It’s in a very rural area filled with beautiful scenery and sheep. The place was amazing, super comfortable beds and her breakfast was delightful. My mother in law claimed they were the best scones she’s ever had! Serena was very friendly and inviting. Would love to stay there longer next time.

This was our second time staying at Ken’s and we absolutely loved it! It’s such a close drive to Slieve League. Ken and his wider were very lovely and provided us with recommendations of what to do in the area. Their home is absolutely beautiful and comforting. We really hope we can stay again in the future!

Lovely B&B perfectly situated to see Slieve League cliffs, which were stunning beyond words. Wonderful recommendations for other things to do in Donegal Co. Great breakfast.

This was my third time staying at the B&B. Ken and Julie continue to make their property feel like a home away from home. They had everything we needed, provided great local activity recommendations, and were so welcoming of our baby we felt we could truly relax there. Would highly recommend!

Gem, will def be back Homely feel, room was great, own bathroom, slept great. Quiet. Warm fire and books to read in common room. Kitchen spacious and well stocked. Robert was a lovely man to chat to. Close to pubs, beach, walks

My stay at Rougey Lodge was wonderful, the sea view from my room was a bonus. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. It is basic hostel accommodation but very clean and comfortable. I liked the do it yourself breakfast concept and having access to a kitchen so I had the choice to cook for myself or eat out was definitely a plus. It is extremely good value for money. I wouldn't hesitate to book here again when visiting the area.

very good value for money. convenient and close to town center. Barbara is very friendly and her establishment was very nice and clean. when I'm gonna stay in Letterkenny I will be definitely staying i Artists hostel again.

Artist Hostel Letterkenny

Myself and my daughter stayed here while she was dancing in the Ulster's. The hostel was within walking distance to the town and shops. It was great having access to Aura pool and gym. The host Barbara was very friendly and helpful.
