Corner Cottage in Weardale a beautiful hidden gem.

Our 3rd stay at the Corner Cottage could not have been better. We are from this area but have now lived in Vancouver for many years, and usually stay for a month each year as a central location to visit our family and friends. Jean is a wonderful host and the location is central with easy, walkable access all Wolsingham has to offer and also to Durham and the dales. We enjoyed the pristine cottage which was warm and comfortable. Also, car parking is provided , there is an easy access shower and a big , comfortable bed... all priorities for us. Thank you for another great long stay. We'll be back!

I stayed here with partner & two kids recently. The property was easily located with good parking. Anytime I needed to contact the owner they responded swiftly. The property was bright and spacious and extremely warm. We had to turn off the radiators. It was perfect for our stay. Highly recommend. Thanks.

Booked on behalf of a contractor. The host made check-in super easy and the property was clean and tidy. I would suggest this host to anyone looking for a hassle-free stay.

Decent price, everything as advertised, step by step guide for check in with all info makes it very easy. Shower got broken, that happens. I contacted them about that after 7pm, got a confirmation 30 mins later that plumber will fix it next day. By the time I got back next day from my course everything was fixed.

A very clean, tidy and well equipped house. Great communication throughout the stay and very pleasant people to deal with. The only downside was the location, but we knew that before we took the property.
