We had such a comfortable and peaceful night’s stay, it truly felt like a home away from home, plus we loved the wacky decor. The space was clean, cozy, and very thoughtfully put together, with all the little touches that make a big difference. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and the quiet surroundings made it easy to relax and get a great night’s sleep. We really appreciated how welcoming and easy everything was from start to finish. Would definitely love to stay here again!

Really enjoyed our recent stay. It was lovely to meet Joan who gave us a very welcome arrival and made a great cup of tea 😊 Location was superb for catching up with our friends and gave us time to explore the beautiful park at the end of the road. House was very comfortable and cozy, with a lovely sunny garden. Joan communicated very well with us at all times and offered additional information about the area etc. would definitely stay again.

Really great accommodation. Perfect for our family to stay over while traveling a long journey. Lovely and clean with big bedrooms. Lovely dinning room to fit 6 people. Decorated nicely too and netflix available on the tele which was great for the kids. You do need a to be careful where you park as you do need a permit right outside the house.

From the moment we stepped through the door of Steph’s place we felt right at home, the house was spotless and so comfortable. The decor was beautiful. It is in the ideal location to access all amenities as well as the local beaches and to collect seaglass. The communication was great and the instructions were clear. Thank-you for a relaxing stay we shall definitely be back

Overnight stay and was perfect for our needs. Easy access and easy to find. My sister in law visiting from the States and me were comfortable with our rooms and was close enough to pop out to a local pub and visit the parents (in-law) Clean, tidy, fresh I would definitely use again and have suggested it to my children when they come up to visit their grandparents Thank you 😁

Seldom is where we stay one of the highlights of our trip, but this townhouse definitely was. It was absolutely amazing. It was warm and comfortable after coming in from our chilly all day excursions. The beds were comfortable, the house extremely clean and the amenities absolute perfection.

Very enjoyable stay. Close to Durham. Light modern space in the second floor. Well equipped kitchen and comfortable living space.

We had a lovely time. It was like a home from home. Emma couldn't do enough for us. The bed was really comfortable and there were plenty of enticing cafes and restaurants in Bishop Auckland.

Great stay!! Hot tub was immaculate so was the cottage , sofa and bed extremely comfortable and clean. Would 100 percent return here!! Only thing I think it should be 11am checkout and 2pm like alot of other lodges/cottages. Thanks for the little break

thank you Jen and Brian for such a magical stay! we couldn't have asked for more! everything was magnificent, the extra touches to mark Stephen's birthday was touching and memorable, I was also surprised with a bottle of Prosecco, went to view bridal dresses but never found one I liked and brian and Jen were so sweet and still gave it to me lol thank you both! we recommend this place highly, the pictures don't do it justice, you need to experience it yourself. we loved the cosy corner, playing darts, sitting by the fire, chilling on the beach chairs ( i must have these now for our garden lol) and the hot tub is the best we have ever been in. the garden is just stunning and comes alive at night! the bed was super comfy too, got such good sleep. we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and cannot wait to go again! thanks again to our attentive and wonderful hosts!

We had a lovely stay at Dionne's place, it was so quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. Inside is cosy and very comfortable with everything we needed for our short stay.

It felt like home from home . Beautifully decorated, extremely comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay there . We will definitely stay here again should we visit Seaham in the future

Nice and cosy flat. Very clean, nice comfortable bedroom, lovely modern bathroom. Host Rachael was very helpful, very quick to respond. Minor tiff- house difficult to locate, even with map. My parents searched for hours and were quite tired before I arrived to help. But I don’t thinks that’s the hosts’ fault. Greta experience, will use again. Thank you

This was a very comfortable stay of 11 days for us. The apartment is spacious. clean, and feels very comfortable right from the outset. It has a well-stocked kitchen and all the amenities and appliances you will need for either a short or long stay. We did a lot of cooking ourselves, but there is also a very nice pub a short walk away. Also the bus takes you straight into the center of Durham from the pub. The area around is pleasant but there isn't much to do except walk and enjoy the countryside, which is very pleasant. The bed was comfy, and the pillows were new (although too soft for us, but thats just personal preference). Overall it was a great stay and well worth the price. The owner was helpful and communicated well, the wifi was good, and the couches comfortable. We would both return and recommend the apartment.

What a lovely apartment to stay in Durham! Chris was so nice to meet me there and show me everything with the apartment. The apartment is all new, very comfortable, with a beautiful peaceful setting on the river! He even bought me some food to get me through the mornings. It was so conveniently located to the town. I had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend this apartment!

I loved my time back Gillian & Paul's flat! This is my second visit and won't be my last. Gillian (and Paul!) are really kind and responsive hosts. They were happy to head over to support for the slightest inconvenience. The property was clean and tidy. I was really happy here :) The property is really convenient - the shopping centre is directly opposite and there is free parking nearby (if there is space). It's just a few minutes walk to the beaches!

We were so pleased to find Darren's place was available we love this little place it's a great place to stay, we had a train to catch for a theatre trip so convinient

Another lovely stay at this wonderful apartment. It is so quiet and relaxing yet only a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Durham and very close to the Cathedral. The apartment was spotless and stylishly and very comfortably furnished. The kitchen has everything you could need to cater for yourselves but with a bakery on your doorstep and pubs, restaurants and a Tesco and a Greggs only a few mins walk away theres plenty of choice if you preferred not to cook. Chris & Wendy provide lots of extras on arrival such as bread, croissants, biscuits, eggs, Tiptree jams, milk, orange juice, butter, Prosecco & Lindt chocolates. There is a coffee machine with a huge choice of coffee capsules to choose from and it is so nice to sit on the balcony over the river with a morning coffee watching the wildlife and the river flowing by. We cannot recommend this accommodation highly enough and are looking forward to returning again next year for an even longer stay.
