Orla was awesome. Met us early out front, got to know us a bit, took us into the unit and gave us the run down. Super responsive, even let us keep our luggage there overnight while we were on the Aran Islands.

Martina's apartment and I were the perfect match. Just a few blocks from the bus stop, so easy and convenient. I was able to walk everywhere i wanted to go. Her cottage is adorable, well decorated in soothing colors, and squeaky clean. Everything I needed was there. Martina was responsive and accommodating.

Hotel Ardagh just outside Clifden is the place you visit once and come back to for decades. The couple next to us were sharing their 34th year there. From the greeting by Briar at our entrance to the gracious farewell from Stephane at our departure, from the stroll through their biodynamic vegetable and flower gardens to the outstanding dinner above the ocean inlet, it was a first visit requiring more, much more. Of course our room was clean and comfortable. And the staff attended to every need. But the owner waited on us at dinner with such good humor and kindness that we spoke at length on our return to our room. Enjoy if you can.

Hosts were very friendly and immediately welcomed us on our arrival, spending some time to introduce the various features of their home and surrounding garden plus recommend local restaurants to try.

Un logement très joli dans un endroit magnifique au cœur du Connemara. Un grand merci à Martha et Sandy, les enfants d’Alannah, très sympas, réactifs et disponibles, qui nous ont dépannés à plusieurs reprises pour rejoindre Letterfrack et Clifden (nous n’avions pas de voiture). Cela a été très agréable d’échanger avec eux pour mieux connaître leur très belle région. Nous gardons un très beau souvenir de notre séjour dans un lieu si unique.

Very welcoming hosts. Beautiful location. Amenities great. So, so cosy and warm (visit was in March and frosty the day I left). I had a great stay. it's private, has everything I needed and I would definitely recommend for 1/2 people.

Frank and Mary's home was a wonderful insight into Irish country life. Down to earth and hospitable. We were so spoilt. We spent six nights at the farm and it felt like a home away from home. Thanks for everything!

Immaculate hotel that really blew us away with both the setting and the friendliness of the staff. Will definitely be back again in the future and couldn't recommend staying here any more highly if you're looking to getaway to the peaceful and serene West coast of Ireland.

Anne ist sehr herzlich und die Wohnung war mega sauber und es war alles da, was wir gebraucht haben. Wenn du nach Galway gehst bitte unbedingt im Restaurant „éan“ essen gehen!! Ist eine top Adresse🫶🏼 Vielen Dank für ALLES liebe Anne♥️ und wir hoffen auf bald in der Schweiz😉

It was cozy and clean room. Especially, laundry facilities were very useful for us because we had a pile of clothes that needed washing. It is located in a quiet residential area, but there is a bus stop nearby so you can easily get to the city centre of Galway. The other thing that was really helpful for us was that I was able to park my car without any problems.

Simply amazing place. Would absolutely recommend it to everyone. Nessa and her husband are lovely people and great hosts. Sadly we only could stay for one night. it was a pleasure :)

Wir haben nur eine Nacht in der Unterkunft verbracht, aber wir haben es geliebt! Wir sind spät Abend angekommen und hatten ein paar Schwierigkeiten herauszufinden wo wir parken können, aber Tonja hat uns auch spät Abend noch geantwortet und uns geholfen! Die Unterkunft ist super gemütlich eingerichtet und hat seinen ganz eigenen Charme!

From start to finish - our stay was just perfect! Aggie was such a welcoming & attentive host and we loved our stay in Drop Anchor!!! We’re a family of 6 and the apartment was perfect for us!! Every morning we did the hour walk / loop around the stunning lake & beach!!! It was pure heaven! And following Aggie’s recommendations - we had a yummy dinner in Oliver’s Seafood Bar & Restaurant in Cleggan and then hit Clifden the next evening and had a gorgeous dinner in Mannions & then over to Ravi’s for live music & a great trad session!!! We would definitely recommend Drop Anchor for a winter retreat! Aggie even spoiled us with freshly baked chocolate chip cookies after one of our walks and dips in the ‘Baltic’ sea 🤣🥶🤣! Thank you Aggie for being so welcoming & we look forward to coming back again very soon!!

Louise and her husband Maurice were great hosts! The place was beautiful and we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this to anyone coming to Galway. We will definitely be back in the future!

If I could give 10 stars I would. Deirdre was an extremely personable and kind host, and was accommodating with all of our requests. The flat had all kinds of amenities, from spare towels to toothbrushes, and a lovely coffee/tea station. It was very easy to find and was very comfortable. Deirdre is very funny and very understanding (even when I returned the keys late!). Overall a great experience and would recommend this flat to anyone looking to explore Galway.

We had an amazing and relaxing stay. Beautiful surroundings. Comfortable, cozy and extremely well appointed with everything you could need. Would highly recommend and definitely love to return.

Claire's place was amazing. From the moment you walked in, everything was so clean and kept up and the views (out any window) can not be done justice by any pictures posted. The view out the sliding glass door of the sea and the neighboring young baby calves can't be topped. The view out the other side of the house up to Dun Aonghasa is amazing. The washer / dryer came at a perfect time in the middle of the trip to clean a few clothes for the remainder of the trip. We loved the horse and carriage tour of the island after being picked up by Padraig. He dropped us by the place where we were greeted by Claire doing some work outside. Very sweet and genuine. Our stay here made us want to move here after retirement. We shall see...

Corrib View Farm is charming and also newly renovated as seen in the photographs. Is a lovely quiet place with Galway only 20 minutes down the road by car. Conor was great and quickly would respond to questions and his mom, Mary, was a delight in welcoming us and also sending us off with well wishes upon departure. Would recommend this property especially if looking for a quiet time and enjoying the serene countryside.

Sharon was a great host. She was very responsive when we were checking in and had some difficulty with the timing of it. She had scones waiting for us upon arrival. Large house with lots of space which is exactly what we needed for our family. Thank you so much, Sharon!
